      Water Temp: 65

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Blasted o just beore 7:00 am, headed up the middle with the wind slightly blowing. First spot cranked up two ish abot 1 lbs each. Moved all the way back past the no ski signs. Caught a 3 lber, then two 2 lbers cranking windy banks. The crank bait is a Zenith/Specilaity tackle.com bait. These baits are great. The wind died down and I threw a Rico on shady walls and pick up several ish over a pound. Ater 10:00 am I dartheaded and texas rigged worms with a lot o success. Most o the worm ish were in the 15-25 t range. i also taught a riend to Dropshot and he caught several ish as well.
      City: Roseville

Tips: I the wind is up, it's reaction time. Other wise dropshot, darthead and texas rig worms. Good colors are Aaron Magic, Babybass and Oxblood light with red leck.

      Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished o shore rees and caught one 2 lber on irst cast as soon as it hit the water I was thinking oh yea we are gonna have a great day but that was not the case, it took me 2 more hrs beore I landed a ish not including the 4-6 inchers that would hit and run and not take the hook. I did inally get on to a patern on deep docks wacky rigging a 3 inch leech on a drop shot rig and got 3 more landed and lost a 4 lber that rapped me around a dock post. The wind picked up and I was ishing out o a 12 t boat with no trolling motor so I had to go in.
      City: San Jose

Tips: The drop shot rig with a 3-6 inch purple worm or leech will work. I spoke to a man and lady that were doing well tossing white spinner baits, they had 17 lbs or 5 ish. I don't think water clearity had anything to do with the bite being slower than 3 wks ago I think its the moon phase and weather.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: As I headed west, do I keep to the let to Oroville, or hang a right to Collins..Had not ished the lake or a ew months... Right turn. Spent some time looking around.Headed to the lakes center shallow area and ound the bass slamming the surace. No wind.Cast to the surace action, single tail grub, didn't matter the color... Set the hook. One o my better days on Collins. Good un. Top water action.. Rip bait, spinner bait, no drop shot action. At the launch ramp got rid o the trout that hit my spinner bait the spot dropped to a couple guys with no action.. That was the word at the launch.. no action.. no ish.. I had a great day. Might take the motorhome down next weekend or two days ishing..

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished main body points got a ish on irst cast but that was it on the main body and than headed up the middle eather river ork and caught one ish at each stop. Usually you will sit on a spot and take 5-10 ish once you ind them but I could only get 1 ish per spot no matter what I did.
      City: San Jose

Tips: Caught one ish in 5 t all the rest were in 10-25 t. ish real slow dragging the worm. I caught ish on drop shot rig, dart head and split shot just go deep and slow. For Oroville ishing is slow need bad weather.

      Water Temp: 70s

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Rolled out o Disco, you know, about 11 trying to hit the tide change around 1. Made our way up to disappointment and it was exactly that. Threw rattles, rogs and senkos o course. Only managed two on the rattletrap o weedlines and docks. Starting to wonder what the hell I am doing out here. Got o the water around 6 with very little to show or it. All in all a very unesquire day.

      Water Temp: 70

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the uture pro-tour. Great turn out with 100 or so teams. Fished solo, my partner could not make it. One o those weird mornings-still, no breeze, no haze and the sun was hot at 9:00am. My conidence bait this time o year is a super spook and a sammy. 5 undersized ish and a 1.5 lber later I put the spook up. Went to jigs and plastics. Dink ater dink so I up the size o the bait and went to a yamamoto 8" grub lorida rigged 1/4 oz, and worked the outside o the weed beds. Picked up a 5.3lber and then a 13" ish ater several more 12.5 inch ish. Tough day or me , three ish 7.9 lbs.
      City: Sacramento

Tips: Feast or amine on the delta or me. My sugestion, i it is cloudy ar an approaching storm is coming leave work and go. All my ish even the dinks picked the bait up as it sat on the bottom, not the usual all. Once it sat there or several seconds tick-tick. Even upsizing did not discourge the dinks- they just ate the tail.Gotta love the delta in the rain as some o my best memories have been there.

Report: The Bass Busters o Santa Clara county ished their 10th tournament on 10/11. Fishing was reported by all contestants as very diicult. The water was warm and clear with almost no wind and very ew aternoon mudlines. The winners came in with 11.43 but ailed to score a limit. There was a short lived topwater bite in the morning around timber. The rest o the day was dropshotting or splitshotting worms and lizards. The contestents tried spinnerbaits, crankbaits, ripping Lucky Crats, Senkos, and jigs. The slow moving worm was all that worked and it was very slow ishing.
      City: Belmont

Tips: Go slow, then go slower. Some o the best ish came while dead sticking during a time a isherman was raching or a Coke or a cigarette.

Report: Decided to take the tube out and loat it Saturday morning. On the water around 8am. Me & a bud launched rom the second parking lot. Water level way down, made or an interesting entry or me. Anyhow, we both landed 3 ish each, none heavier than a pound. We each had 2 almost landed, but they got o just at grab, and a ew grabs but no hook sets. Had a "double-hookup" too, pretty much at teh same time! That was kool! Fish were out rom bank and maybe 15-20' deep. Wind came up around 11:30am I was using Berkly power worms (7" pumpkinseed) Partner had a jig on. Wish we landed all that we elt, but all in all it was a good loat. (we wern,t skunked!)
