Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: went out to the lake today and this crazy urge came upon me to take the kids so i did. BAD decision! anyway did bank ishing along the main launch and boat docks started ishing a 4" purple/pink inese worm around 5pm no luck! messed with the kid's tangled lines or a while... at 7pm decided to do some real-guy ishing tied on a 6" lizard purple/black landed a 5 pounder at dam, (good ighting ish) then tried another cast lost the lure to some rocks! inally ound a worm i wanted to try or some time now and tied it on ( white/grey salted 4"worm) landed a 3 pounder same spot...overall 10 ish 1-2 pounds also caught at boat launch ater sunset....had a good day kids caught some bluegill and smaller bass using live worms..
      City: sacramento

Tips: smaller baits seem to work mornings-evenings using 4-6 worms at night had good success with larger plastics all around the lake....good ishing!

      Water Temp: 64-69

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Bed ishing was good today, landed around 30 ish, most o them 1.5 -2lb range. A couple in the 3 lb. range and 1 just shy o 5 lbs. All caught in the south end o the lake and on a lippin' tube. Used 1 tube all day long. The algae is getting out o control in some areas and I think they were spraying to kill it but I'm not sure. Does anyone know i the do spray or it or does it go away on its own. I do think the algae helps the spawn because its nearly impossible to see the beds, but you still can ind plenty o ish.
      City: santa rosa

Tips: Find bed ish and sit on them till they bite. Some ish went easy, some ish it took 30 min.

      Water Temp: 70 - 65

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out Saturday with my riend Joe rom our club and I got an early start in Dutch slough and proceeded to go to several places all over the Delta. According to the GPS we racked up 66 miles on the water. I the wind was only a little lighter (30MPH+)I think the bite would have been great. I started the day with a couple early in Dutch where it was nice an calm, then o course started to give Joe a hard time about his ailure to help put ish in the boat (mistake). We then proceded to check out other ishing holes where Joe proceded to show me how to ish. Joe hooked one over 5 and lost it. He then put a 5, 4, & 3, and a couple more in the boat, and missing another over 5. I had a little shaker during this time (ouch), I'm really hurting now. We then proceded to a couple more spots where I inally pick up a good 3 lber. I it were a team tournament we would have had a healthy weight that would have been around 15, i Joe could keep ish on better we would have had around 22. I it were individual tournament, Joe would have been swimming! We also went by Lost Isle where the party was going on. The patrols were also there and doing a good job keeping things under control.
      City: San Jose

Tips: For us it was a Spinnerbait bite mainly. Where you could throw a Senko and the wind would let it go down that was also a good bite. Nothing on Cranks. One blow up on Frog. It appeared that someone ound the Frog bite early as we saw a lot o tracks rom ish pulled out. It was too windy when we really tried. The water temp went rom 70 in the morning to 65 in the aternoon. Thats how windy it was.

Most on spinnerbait, but some on shadrap, deep-wee-r and a ew nice ones on hula popper. Fish were everywhere, some on the bank, some coming up rom deeper water. Very active couple o hours. Best day this year on the lake.

      Water Temp: 68 to 70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: In at Bailey Cove at 4:30PM. Fished the west side o the lower McCloud to Ycotti or a total o 21. The largest, a 3.1 spot came on a MGM "Jerry's Worm". MGM "Fall Craw" worked very well also. At one point I made ive casts and hooked 5 ish. Threw a buzzbait a little just beore dark, had a ew blowups but no hookups. Texas rigged worms and jigs seemed to do the trick. There are a lot o small ish right on the bank in the shade. It was a beautiul evening on the lake, we quit at 9:00PM and took our time coming in because o the amount o small and large debris in the water. Oh, did I mention the Blonde in the back only managed seven. Jerry, at least I know what lake I'm ishing.

      Water Temp: 68-70

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started in White's at daylight with lat water and very little luck on a buzz bait. Caught a couple 1-2 lb ish on senkos then a couple more small ish on a spinner bait (white, o course). Moved to Disappointment Slough and landed a 6.8lb ish just beore low tide. It came on a senko near the outside o the weed line. The ish didn't run but tried to bury straight down in the weeds. Wind kicked up so we called it a day.
      City: Folsom

Tips: No real pattern emerged. Senko was the best bite (watermelon red lake). Spinner bait was second. Drop shot was not working like it did last week.

Report: ished old river, close to Del's, put 8 in the boat in a span o 2 hours, all on a handpour 8" zipper worm, right up on the rocks at low tide. ound a pump going and caught 4 just tossing to the disturbed water and letting the pump current take the bait out. Had a 5 plus spit out a 3" shad at me, nice o him. wind really killed the bite by late aternoon.
      City: Tracy

Tips: Been doing good on the incoming tide, they are up close to large rocks/concrete slabs.very light biters though.

Report: Thought we would give Del Valle a try. It has been over a year since I've be here and the lake never changes. The Family got on the water at 9:00 and ran to dam end. We were out to let our 2 1/2 year old hook into his irst ish (trout). We hit 5 and lost just a many, breaking 4# line here and there. Baby (Cameron) got his irst ish in (14" trout) and that made everyones day. Specially his!!! Next time you see him, ask him what did you catch? He'll tell you a RAINBOW TROUT silly. My new ishing buddy. GREAT JOB SON (CAMERON) A DAY TO REMEMBER W/ PHOTOS......

Report: Took the wie out or a picnic on the lake with a little ishing thrown in. On the water at 1030 and o at 1530, so not a serious ishing day. Boated 3 ish which wasn't too bad with all the boat traic. Brown jig in 15' o water o a point; a #194 Senko in some wood in 4' o water; and a drop shot got the ish. 2 largemouths and one spot; all around 2# each. Boat traic got worse as the aternoon wore on and there were people still launching when we pulled out. Threw a buzzbait alot trying or suspended ish but nothing came up to hit it.
