      Water Temp: warming up

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fishing has been pretty good at Sonoma lately, the ish are pretty shallow, and alot o 3 to 5 pounders are being caught. But these ish get a lot o ishing pressure, and some people keep ish. I was surprised today when someone told me him and his wie keep 10 bass evertime they go out. I think people should try to release bass, and maybe keep a couple small ones once in a while.
      City: Petaluma

Tips: try avoid using the baits that are really common, like brush hogs and senkos, sometimes they want something they arent usedto seeing.

Report: I ished the WON team on Saturday, ished solo since my partner had amily duties. I went in with zero conidence having been out Thursday and caught no ish. All I was hoping or was to get us some points to stay in the running or the TOC. Ended up with 11lbs 3oz with a 5-06 kicker. Since I didn't make top 3 and get to tell the crowd, I'll tell ya about the keepers here.First nice ish came on a baby bass Senko in Woodward Canal. She was just out about 4t rom bank in a patch o about 6 tules.Second was a small male came rom Kellog Creek (Discovery Bay) up in super shallow water in sand o some shore plants. He came rom the baby bass Senko as well.Third ish came o a white/chart spinnerbait outside edge o Widow Isl. He hit right at the boat and I just set and jerked him in the boat with one motion.Fourth and Fith ish came rom a jig near widow isl. on rip rap bank in about 8t o water.Sixth ish, the 5lber came rom the white/chart spinnerbait on rip rap bank near Big Break. Felt good to cull a 13" ish with this one.Come ish as a guest with our club, great small group, un schedule. We are looking or a ew more members. American Bass Anglers ambassanglers.com.

      Water Temp: ??

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Just killed some time today waiting or day 3 wiegh-in down town. I had the honor and privilege to ish along side Peter T. behind the sail boat club. I've already been working the area or an hour with no bites when he arrived. I observed hime or awhile throwing buzzbaits, senkos and lukes. I did not see him hook up. I decideded to stay o the banks and try my piling pattern now that it was cooler. Nailed a 3 pounder on 4" zipper/brass&glass brown/chart. Peter T. didn't look to happy so I told him I will leave the cove and said good luck. Went to the Ladd's area and pounded the pilings. Six bites total in 2 hours. Lost three under the custom Valco bass boat, "BASS BUSTER 1". The other two spit beore set. Bite was agessive, but deinitely had to down size. Looking orward to see Robert Lee take 4 straight. Can any body stop this Home Boy???? Love to stop and chat with any body out on the water. Drive sae and have a good season.
      City: Stockton,Ladd's

Tips: Need to ind calm, protected, and warmer water. Get a temp gage i don't have one. I need one, tired o getting my hands wet.

      Water Temp: ??

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished, Taylor, Piper, and Little Franks today rom 6-12. Only got 4 ish, but all good ones. Total o 10.25 or the 4 ish, biggest @3.5. 3 o the ish were caught on black jigs, one on a junebug senko. I have a certain tree that I always throw a senko into at low tide, and I get a ish every time, but this time I had thrown the line over a branch and beore I could pull it back out, BAM, I was pulling a 2 pound ish up and over a branch. That didn't work out too well. Lost him when his head hit the branch haha. Anyway, between the two o us we missed 11 ish on jigs, you gotta set the hook as soon as they get that thing in their mouth, or they spit it back out. Either that, or wait or a second tugas they will usually pick it back up again. Going out again tomorrow will report back.
      City: Vacaville

Tips: Black jigs and senkos are all you need to catch ish this time o year. In act all you REALLY need are senkos, but the jigs are doing well or us right now. Good luck to all the BASS guys out there this weekend!

      Water Temp: N/A

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Threw our lines in the water @ 7am, ished with anchovies til 10am with no luck. Then I landed an 8# striper, 5 minutes later my buddy landed a 5#er, then nothing... at about noon, I landed a little 4#er. Had things to do @ the house, so I let around 2pm. Seems like you have to be on the water FIRST THING in the morning to nail 'em. But it was still a nice sunny day to be ishing, wind wasn't too bad either.
      City: Turlock, CA

Tips: Get on the water as early as possible.

Report: Fished the middle and south Delta today. Focused on Rock walls with some current and deep water nearby. Result was a 20+lb bag. All ish with one exception caught on Jigs...Black/Brown...Black/Blue...Black/Red..Biggest ish went 9.2lb with several ish in the 3.5 to 4lb range...This was my best single day or a ive ish limit ever on the Delta. I hope it holds up at the WON PRO/AM next weekend.
      City: Discovery Bay

Tips: Jigs...3/8 and 1/4 are working best or me. The smaller baits seem to get more bites or me...My only tip as I'm clearly on a huge learning curve is to try dierent tactics each time out...This is my irst year actually throwing jigs and it has become my go to bait. Red is the color o choice right now.

Report: Fished Clear Lake this past weekend, with the warm weather the big bait bite slowed down. Ater a visit to the local tackle store (TACKLE IT) we were back on the water with a new plan. We started ishing with Senkos, drop shotting and sight ishing with big tubes. That made all the dierence we started hanmmering them. Me an my riends had a great time. Thanks Tackle it
