      Water Temp: 52

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: With CFW ull, there were so many areas to hit but ound most and best ish up Rock Creek on jigs and dartheads. So much water that casting into trees was a routine thing, right Ross? Most ish were caught in 15-20' o steeper banks but some o the nicest came in 3-5' making you think they were heading or some beds although I couldn't detect any beds anywhere. Was told by the lake manager that the the water temp had come up 5 degrees since Sunday and we should see some real movement soon and a good blade bite coming on. Water was crystal clear and ree o debree, the dock is perectly situated in the water and it was a real nice day with the best 5 going a good 11-12 pounds with very ew not being keepers.
      City: Wheatland

Tips: Rock Creek throwing typical orange/black 1/4 oz jig with #180 Yami trailer. When I moved up to 3/8 oz, the bite shut o, working it extremely slow and they hammered it. Dartheading an MGM peanut butter/jelly (Bear #123) seemed to be color o choice as we tried many worms and even the aithul salt and pepper w/chartruese tail was not working. Some o the largest came in shallow water back in Rock Creek in the stump ield. Take advantage o this place beore other boat activity begins.

Report: GETTING SKUNKED AT COLLINS? take a drive up the hill to LAKE FRANCIS to catch good #'s in 2-5lb range! Becoming a routine or us ater ishing collins or bass and trout with little or no action. ished there once a week or last month and averaging 15-20 hookups per outting (about 3-4hours). leave cranks and reactions in tackle box and ish plastics weedless. are best success (90% o bites)are with SENKOS in #301 or Pumpkinseed with green lake best bet. Must be patient with Senkos.(as one o my ishing buddies ound out).Hey Je, you will become a Senko believer sooner or later. Toss weightless and weedless across coves or into 10t o depth. let sink to bottom and deadstick. slowly retreive a oot or so and let sink again. i bass is there it will pick it up. our largest was 6lbs and ull o eggs. (remember to catch and release all bass). also try pulse worms or baby brush hogs in similar colors. toss towards submerged bushes and near the big rock pass the gated side. remember electric motors only here, but the banks have been just as rewarding. you may be lucky and hookup one here close to 10lbs, but dont count on it. but remember, this is the most underished lake in the area. good luck.
      City: yuba city

Tips: Bass are still clinging to bottom but in 6 to 10 eet o water. no topwater yet.warming temperatures we are experiencing will change that soon. but Senkos work year round here.

      Water Temp: 53-55.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Well, I launched out o Brennan island about 7am. I believe it was sunset cove? It was by the bridge. My plan was to hit taylor and piper sloughs as I have had good luck there as o late. I had always come in there via holland launch and rode past Franks Tract. I had no idea that taylor is about 5 miles o no wake. What a bummer! So as I was putting along on my way to the end o the slough I noticed a big pipe pumping water in by some docks. The water was redish brown and it was bubbling. I thought only one thing stripers!! Three cast o the trusty bleeding shad rattle trap and bam a nice 5lb ish. Ended up getting two more out o the hole. Putted up to the end o the slough. No action till about 4:00 then it was senko time. Ended up with 8 largemouth up to 4lb. I did get one dropshotting. What a nice day to be on the water. As I headed back I stopped o at where the water was bubbling in earlier but, it was not pumping. I did miss something big though, I set the hook and though I was snagged, as I cursed my line swam away. Had it or a second then it got o. Who knows? Good luck out there.
      City: Walnut Creek

Tips: Any tips rom people on what to throw when the tide is really movin would be appreciated. I can't seem to get bit when the tide is humpin. Tight lines!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at B&W Resort today and headed or the Sycamore and Hog slough area. Started out with a Senko but it only produced two small one's in the irst hour or so. The tide had just turned back in when I switched to a white spinnerbait. The next hour and a hal produced twelve nice ish rom 2.5 to 4.5 lbs. all in 2 to 4 eet o water right o the bank, and all were stuck as tight as could be to some kind o cover. The water was clear enough to see about hal o them hit the bait. As the tide came back in things slowed and I only managed to catch two more in the next two hours, each about 1.5 lbs. This was my best trip so ar this year. The ish seemed to get a little agressive today, or a short period o time anyway.
