Report: Started out in the loat tubes with a buddySunday morning about 8:30am no wind yet. I caught 1 & my buddy caught 2 & broke o a nice bass. We were ishing in Bailey Cove.Then the wind came. We tried to ish in ourtubes or as long as we could but gave up.We ished rom shore my buddy caught 5 or 6more on a worm & I caught 5 but 3 o them were 4lbs or better. Caught them ishing intothe wind hopping a 7" worm, they hit the worm the drop. That was my best day ever ishingthere.

Report: Slow day. One topwater ish (nothing to brag about sizewise), and eight ish on a variety o plastics. I ished everywhere I could. It was windy so I pretty much stayed o the main body hitting the coves and clumps o weeds. I'm anxious to know i anyone who was there on Sunday had any luck and what they used. I tend to have a tough time catching ish at Calero on the weekends.

Report: Jerry Fournier and I got on the water at irst light. Fished senko's and rogs on a high tide. Fished rock walls with grass and cheese. Founded ish scattered here and there. At low tide we switched to a large grass bed and ound similar conditions. We ended up with 14 to 16 ish, to 3 lbs. Five ish limit 12 lbs.+

Report: My now ormer back seat partner suddenly ound religion, gave up drinkin & smokin, and has now inormed me he preers religious activities over stickin a bass ( i just dont see it, but hey, to each his own ) but anyway, it let me to going out solo, launched out o holland , headed to the end o rock slough at a low tide, ished the mats with a chartruse/white rog --- nuthin.switched over to a rootbear sinko along the outer edges o the weeds --- nuthin.Decided rock wasnt happening, headed or theholland tract vicinity and ished the wind protected side o various tule lines with a red speedtrap -- 1 that went 6 & some change and a smattering o 1 lb & under aggresive ballsy little bastards... made another pass along the lines with a watermelon seed luke --- nuthin.... went to holland tract rock wall throwin a chartruse spinner with painted blades --- nuthin... switched to a chartruse bomber 6a -- stuck about 15 ish, none were over 2 lbs, most didnt even make a pound.. i did stick a ish, that in my years o bassin the delta, ive never seen beore.. it was solid silver, sleek bodied ish, that went about 8 lbs and had a head that looked like it belonged on a walleye... i havent a clue as to what sort o ish it was that i caught, but i someone has any idea, please let me know... also, anyone out there who is looking or a partner and who doesnt mind sitting the back seat o my 16 oot , 50 hp aluminum bass boat, and is willing to spend some hours on the water,please let me know asap !cell phn - ( 925 ) 783 4539email - txrebel196@yahoo.com

Report: Fished rom 5 pm to 10:30 pm. Started at the mouth o the canyon split shotting 4" watermelon w/red lake lizards while the wie split shot 6" curly tail purple ghost & 4" curly tail motoroil worms. She had me down by three keepers beore I boated my irst keeper. Fish came o o steep rocky banks in 15' to 20'. Rode out the pleasure boat traic and ished this area until 7:30 pm. Let with 4 keepers in the well and also boated several dinks. Headed down to Graveyard Creek area and ished it until 10:30. Boated two more keepers and several more dinks again on lizards & motoroil curly tails. Ended with a 5 ish limit o about 8 lbs.
City: DelhiTips: Work the worm slow down steeper rocky banks in 15' to 20'. 4" plastics in purple ghost, watermelon, or motoroil.

Report: Ok mind set this morning was catch ish, no playing around, lately my home lake been kickin my bootie. The deck had one rod!! the magic wand, a 6 1/2 t Shimano dart head rod 1/8 oz Gammie 1/0 hook and a 4 inch Pro Worm.No top water, no rippen, no lukin do what I do best. Dart head in 28 - 35 t o water. Got on the lake at 6:30 ished till 9:00, six spots all 1 3/4 to 2 lb. No isherman lie here, all solid at spots spittin bait all the way up. At 7:00 a ski boat pulls up and I am thinking NO, but they proceded to crank Too Fast For Love or orty ive minutes o Motley's best!!! What more could I ask or I am the Joe Dirt o Bass Fishing and love my Motley, Note the e-mail address and the Tattoos I got. Loved it and got o the water when it got bad!!!
City: SacramentoTips: DEEP, DEEP DEEP no bite just weight and the 1/8 oz slow alling dart head was the ticket.Typical Summer at Folsom. I love this lake ind a school o Nice Spots and Bait you will have a blast.

Report: On the water at 8:ooa.m. o at 2:00p.m.Fished main body, south and middle ork.Caught ish on variety o baits with best action on darterheads and dropshotting Predator worms. Match the bait to shorelinecolor. #758 bluegill on red chunck rockwas none stop action or ish up to 16".

Report: Went out sunday around 4pm with a buddy o mine loat tubing. Fished next to the weed bed along the north side o the back ponds. Senkos landed us a ew small bass and one that was approx. 4 or 5 lbs. Flukes seem to work okay as well. With the weeds now, time to start throwing the rogs.

Report: went in at Jones valley at 840pm and watched some real unny stu at the ramp or 20 minutes waiting or a spot in the gravel to park in, lake at 25.80 down, air temp 87 and no wind, went over into squaw creek on submerged humps or 19 to 2.4 with 4 over 2, and 2 o those were largemouth, no dinks tonight most ran around 1.4 to 1.6 and one smallmouth on jigs in 3-12 t o o some submerged red mud humps. Ran back to Jones valley as the wind came up and got out at midnight at 67 degrees. Another beautiul Shasta evening with a ul blown moon and a good bite that was still on when I let.

Report: Shasta Cascade Bass Anglers had a tournament on Trinity on June 16th. It was a Golden Rule Tournament with a 5 ish limit. The top weight was 14.49 lbs, with a big ish o 3.87 lbs. It was a sunny day. The winds were calm in the morning and it was breezy in the aternoon. Most o the ishing was down N. o Trinity Center. We had 11 boaters and 5 non-boaters. The Club is always looking or new members. I interested in joining a good club call Jim at 224-9601.
City: red bluTips: Fish were caught on grubs, rip bait, buzz bait and even drop shot.

Report: Fished rom 5pm to 2am, caught 12 beore dark, 6 ater dark. Biggest bass was 7.1 lbs., the rest ranged rom 2 to 5 lbs. A brown and dark green 1/2 oz. jig was the ticket, tipped with a super pork bubba rog, in brown. Also partner caught a 10 lb. catish on a jig.
City: Citrus HeightsTips: Fish the outside edges o the main lake points, rom 10 to 20 eet. Grass is a problem, but there's plenty o bare spots. Did not ind a topwater bite, suspect that is a morning thing now.

Report: Got out with JK at irst light and threw buzzbaits and chuggers or the irst hour in the Whites area. Got three bass up to 3 pounds and then went to plastics and cranks. We nailed some pretty good ish over the next 2 hours and all the ish were within a oot o the shoreline and the bites were immediate. Once the tide ell to an unishable level we ran up to Potato Slough and got got on a good lipless crank bite on ish up to 4 pounds. We also lost another ish that was probably 4 plus. John came across a weed lat and started throwing a rog and hit another ish around 3 1/2 pounds. About noon and the delta starting to ill up with knuckleheads, we decided to head back close to Paradise so we could get o the water when the traic got unbearable. We got one more bite in the next hour on a 6 inch senko and it was the biggest o the day. 5 pounds even. Best 7 went 22 to 23 pounds. Around 20 bass or so or the day, with an 18 inch striper thrown in.
City: RosevilleTips: A very typical delta summer pattern. A little top water in the morning, some crank action when the breeze kicked in and a good plastic bite in the weed lines when the sun was high. Perect weather. Around 85 with a light wind.

Report: Launched rom Ladd's at 8:00 a.m. Caught approx. 8 under 2 lbs. on buzzbaits and rogs. Missed a couple o 3 lbers and one approx. 4 lbs. on topwater. Flipped a 6.9 on a jig and caught a 5.5 on a senko.
City: San JoseTips: The bigger ish were near typical spawning areas. Shallow weeds with current.

Report: got on the water around 7:30 am and went directly to the cove just to the let o the sunken island. saw a large boil way back in the cove around the grass line. Threw a POP-R in a silver color right into that same spot, and boom!!! that ish just killed my lure. ended up being an 8 pounder. caught my second ish on the lats way to the west end o the lake. was using a small rapala that looked like a gold shad. that one was a hog at just over 10 pounds. all in all, it was a good day on the lake!
City: hollywoodTips: this was actually the irst time i've caught big ish on something other than the drop shot at casitas. guess it pays o to try new things!

Report: The Bass Classics o Santa Clara Valley had there tournament at lake McClure this month and it was great ishing had by all. We had 21 anglers ishing and 17 had limits with the big ish o the tournament 3.30 lbs being caught by Dave Osborne on a dirt worm on a dart head. In irst place with 11.55 lbs was Terry Shade he said he had all o his ish on brown with blue lake , and brown with black lake grubs ished on a 1/4 oz. darthead. In second place was Mike Bugliarello with 11.1 lbs or his limit. He caught most o his ish on steep banks with large boulders with a watermelon hula grubs on 1/4 oz. ootball heads in 20-30 t. He said that the bites were very light and he only had 7 keepers all day.In third was Tom Blue who had his ish also on dartheads. In orth was Rob Staben He had a small limit in Piney Creek by 10 A.M. then he began to cull out o 60 bites he had about 25 ish in the boat 9 keepers. He said the better ish came out o laydowns with limbs in the water . All o his ish came on the Bluegill colored grubs and shallow no more then 10 t deep all day. Ed Spicker took ith with the grub and darthead pattern also. In Sixth was J.R. Taylor he had about 12 - 15 keepers all day mostly on 1/16 oz. dartheads with a crawdad colored paddle tail grub with orange claws. The ish came out o 10-20 t. o water with the better ones in 15-18 t. He said the ish were eating crawdads so thats why he went to that bait. He had a great Fluke bite on Friday but he only had one ish on it on Saturday. we had a total o 21 guys catch 95 ish or 192.3 lbs and a 2.02 lb average.

Report: Me and 3 others were out on a boat or about 11 hours. We didn't catch anything. One guy got a bite o o his spinnerbait but that was all or the day. We tried everything in our tackleboxes everywhere. I guess a couple people came out with some trout but that is all I heard or the whole day.

Report: Gary Delbridge and his wie, Linda arrived to do some shopping or a house and low and behold he is gonna do it. They ound and bought a place in south Redding. Gary did make one tiny mistake though, he made a breakast bet on the biggest ish and breakast tomorrow morning is sure gonna taste good! I nicked him by 1/10 o a pound. we got in at Bailey Cove at 745 pm, air temp 87 and the level is down past 25 t and aling ast, water very muddy with a lot o traic. Ran up into the McCloud past Dekas Rock and caught a number o ish on jigs and gitzits. my 1.5 was beaten by Gary's 1.6 and we traded bragging rights all night long until we tied at 2.2 lbs, mine was a largemouth and Gary's was a spot. I tagged a 2.3 largemouth at 1130 and that was the end o that. We had over 30 in the boat and lost that many or more, a beautiul warm night with a nearly ull moon and slight overcast. got out at 1245 am, air temp 67. Gary u brought your secret weapon but got whooped anyway!!!!!!!!!!

Report: Best ishing day o the year or me and my son. Morning we got 8. largest was a 5.5 pounder on a clear/green Keeper. At night I landed my largest bass o the year, a 8.3 pounder on a jig. 7 more caught during the evening with the moon almost ull. all were good at ones. Gonna try again Sunday, ater I get back rom the NASCAR race at Sears Point. Moon should still be out.

Report: First time on Black Butte this year.Launched at Eagle Pass 5:30 a.m. Lots o wind so top water and worming not working. Decided to troll using at ree shad lures.Caught 3 bass 2 at 14" and 1at 15"- 5 under 12" and 1-squaw ish lost 7 bass and 1 large crappie.About a dozen ishing-ski-and PWC on the water.Had a great time,ishing will get better,lake about 85% ull so it will take a while to re-locate the ish or this year.
