Report: WENT OUT IN THE MOON LITE WITH MY WIFE AND HAD A GREAT TIME CATCHING A MIXED BAG OF FISH. SHE WORMED HER FISH WITH A NUMBER OF DIFFERNT COLORS, I USED A CHARTRUSE AND BLACK POES CRANK BAIT AND CAUGHT BIGGER AND MORE FISH ON THIS TRIP.HAD FISH UP TO SEVEN POUNDS BUT THE BIG ONES WERE NOT BASS. CAUGHT TWO CATFISH 7LB AND A 5 POUNDER ON A CRANK BAIT IN THE MOON,THAT WAS ALITTLE DIFFERNT. GAVE THEM TO SOME PEOPLE ON THE BANK WHO WERE FISHING CATS AND DIDNT HAVE ANY LUCK THEY WERE HAPPY. THE BIG BASS WAS THREE POUNDS .TAKE CARE WHEN THROWING A CRANK BAIT AT NIGHT IT CAN GET A LITTLE HAIRY OUT THERE WITH THOSE TREBLE HOOKS IN A FISH AND ITS FLOPPING AROUND AT NIGHT.I HAD SOME CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OUT THERE . MY WIFE CAUGHT A 7LB CAT ABOUT 10 IN THE MORNING ON A MGM 4 INCH WORM , SHE SAID ITS A GOOD ONE, AND IM TAKING MY TIME WITH THIS 6LB TEST LINE. SHES THINKING KICKER SPOT. IT TOOK HER A WHILE BUT GOT IT UP TO THE TOP SHE SEEN WHAT IT WAS AND SAID, WELLLLL I WONT SAY WHAT SHE SAID BUT IT WASNT PRETTY. WE FISHED OUT OF JONES VALLEY AND STARTED AT THE MAIN POINT OUT OF JONES VALLEY AND FISHED UP THE PIT A SHORT WAYS.
City: ANDERSONTips: FISHING THE CRANK BAITS IN THE ROCKS , MOST FISH HIT IN TIGHT TO THE BANK. CRANK BAIT COLORS WERE CHARTRUSE AND BLACK AND WHITE AND CHARTRUSE, MEDIUM RUNNING WAS WORKING GOOD

I hear that Dropshot is a better way. I'll have to try that the next time.

Report: Started late....didn't get out until 7:50pm. I took my sidekick Kenneth Kayge with me so I could show him the ropes when it comes to top water ishing. Some people would say I'm a topwater specialist. I took him out to a secret hole I've been going to since I was a young one. We ished these sunken tree stumps. I threw out a chartuse buzzbait. I nailed a 3 lber on the second cast. Ken was throwing shallow diving minnows, without any luck. I suggested he cast into this isle o tules, and when he wasn't sure where I was talking about, I casted out into the area or him and...BAMM!!! Reeled in another 2+ lber. Thats' 2 nice bass within 3 casts. Unortunately, Ken was not so succesul, he tried spinners galore and was never able to bring any in. That was all we caught on this trip..but we only ished or 1 hour.
City: DixonTips: It's all about buzzbaits in the evening!!!! Fish the moon calenders.....Wont be ishing in 3 weeks though, can't miss NCW Summer Sanitarium.

Slow bite, tried carolina rig, jig - both down to 25 eet, crank bait, Rico, and tube bait around willows, senko, nothing. Fished the main lake and beales point predominately.
