      Water Temp: 66

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Decided to enter a report here...it's been blank or too longHad a tough day or Barrett standards, I got 14 LMB to 6.5lbs (on scales)...almost all on very s-l-o-w-l-y crawling (I mean 6-7minute casts!) blue/black pig/jigs, 7" lorida rigged dark worms, or drop-shot 4" dark worms, over rock piles in 8-12' water. I you went aster you just wouldn't get bit. Just absolutely no reaction bite except or one blow up on a buzzbait early..kept on trying (but blanked on) rico's and sammy's, deep cranks (DD-22+ chart-blue), blades, sot and hard jerks...these usually go over well here...it was smack in the middle o post-spawn.My buddy got 13 on the same except he got one on the early buzzer.A bad day here is still a very good day...most o the ish were 3-4lbs, a ew 5's and my 6.5
      City: Beverly Hills

Tips: Post-spawn means slow ish'n! The water is a very odd greenish-brown...two guides deep and you can't see your rod...could bee a actor.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: This was the worst wind I've ever seen at Folsom or the Golden State tournament and the Ranger's agreed and shut down the event three hours ater blast-o. Unortunatelly most o us didn't know that had happened and continued to battle the wind and 4' whitecaps untill the bitter end. Most o my ish were deep on the main body and unishable, so I just went ishing and tried to enjoy the day. Quite a ew good ish are still in the willows and will eat just about anything. Most o the deeper ish were suspended well o the bottom and I wasn't able to catch them.
      City: Sanoma County

Tips: When the wind blows hard, go to a protected area or up river and don't beat yoursel and your equipment up. Fishing is supposed to be un, let's keep it sae.

Report: Launched at 4:45 am looking forward to a strong topwater bite, since I have had luck the last few trips out with spooks and pop-Rs. This is a pattern that shows up this time of year regularly at berryessa. However, after making the first turn out of capell, I saw the lake like I had never seen her before. 4 foot swells in the main lake, crashing on the rocks like it was the ocean. The wind was howling unbelievably hard. We tried to find cover for 4 hours, to no avail. The only sheltered spots on the lake had fisherman in them, and they were not getting bit either. Very bad day, and I hope she calms down by next week. I don't want another trip like this.
