      Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I took a client to Oroville Saturday and we ished with the "olks" - lots o bass boats. I sort o started this client rom the "beginning" in past trips, and he has landed bass up to 5 1/4 pounds at Clear Lake. We decided to see i he was ready or ishing deeper water and landing some spotted bass on light tackle. We ished the south ork and did ok - not great. He landed 10, including one over the slot, and I landed 13 with 3 over. Nothing over 2.2 pounds. As the month wears on, the bass are getting smaller as the spawning cycle is nearly over or the spots. We caught them on jigs, Berkley Pulse Worms, and #194 5" Senkos (biggest bass caught on that bait). The Senko bite wasn't nearly as good as last trip. We started at 10 AM and inished at 6:30 PM. We tried to catch the late aternoon bite and it was pretty good - but not as good as I thought it would be.
      City: Yuba City

Tips: I have ound some good schools o spots that have been holding on some walls. Other walls that look just as good don't seem to have many ish. Ones near a eeder creek - even i the water is no longer running, seem to be holding more ish. Sort o a post-spawn thing I guess.

Report: American Bass Anglers Club launched 6 boats rom Orwood Resort- 6 limits o ish were delivered to the scales. Big Fish was in the mid 4 pound range. First place won with 14.77 lbs. or 5 ish. My non boater and I determined that the bigger ish were holding on the deeper outside weedlines. Pitching and lipping to the tule pockets didnt produce. My non boater was ishing 5" green Senko's and and small brown power worms or a 10+ lb.limit. I threw crankbaits or 4 o my ive ish and 1 blade ish, crankbaits were LURH JENSEN crystal minnow speed trap and MANN'S crawdad in 1/4oz. Most ish came rom around 8t. deep. Thanks to the Pro's & Guides who put reports up here.
      City: Martinez

Tips: When catching smaller ish tight the bank or burm back o alittle and the bigger ones will most likely be there in the deeper water and near current low.Good LuckPete

      Water Temp: 60ish

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Preished Friday then ished the BFL(nonboater) today out o Big Break. Friday we just ished in and around Big Break until 1pm. It was very windy and tough ishing. We caught small ish(1-2lbs) on senkos and lipping. Today was spent around Franks and the middle delta. I got two ish(3lber&2lber) on a rico within the irst 20min. I then went without a bite until about 12:30. During this time my pro caught a limit and culled twice or about 12lbs. It was pretty rustrating to watch but you can't give up. I then got a 3lb lip ish, a 6lb rog ish, and a 2lb lip ish in about 30 minutes. I also lost one 2lb lip ish at the boat. I ended up with 16.14lb or ive. I you haven't tried the BFL your missing out. A nonboater has the chance to draw a great pro, like I did today, and learn a ton. This with only a $75.00 entry(a lot cheaper than a guide trip with the potential bonus o winning some money). I you ish all ive tournaments(total entry ees only $450.00 or nonboaters) and are in the top 30, you make it to the regional where the nonboaters ish or their own $30,000.00 Ranger bass boat. For the price you can't beat it.
      City: Petaluma

Tips: The lip bite seemed more consistant since the ish are just getting over the last week's cold ront. I also think the topwater bite is starting with it warming back up. I would throw topwater or size and lip or numbers. Good luck, Pat.

Hope the weather warms, so the blade bite turns on.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: T'was a beautiul 420 morning, got in the water around 7am and headed out to Swallow Bay, not alot o action, so we picked up anchor and repositioned ourselves about 200 yards south o the launch ramp. Threw out the poles and waited, and waited....then about 9am the ishing was red hot! Limited out by 10am, other boats near us were not as lucky, we ound a hole and tossed the *ootball* weight with our *bait* and hooked up almost everytime in that spot! An older group cruised by and asked i we were doing any good, I told him to anchor right where he was , right over the *spot*/hole and once he dropped his line in FISH ON!!....they were now having un ater a morning o getting skunked. We didn't mind he was over our spot since we had only one more ish to go or a limit. Can't wait to go back....biggest ish was a 3lber....smallest was the Super Cuts little guy ....tight lines!

      Water Temp: 60-63

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got a late start with my buddy Steve at about 12:30. Fished about 5 hours. Nothing at irst, then start picking up some 1-2 pound spots on plastics. Tried Senkos irst, but ended up going to the 4-inch worms. No reaction bite. Pretty much any color worked. Ended up with about 17 bass, best going 2.6 pounds. Missed at least 15 that had it by the tail or dropped it. Not quite the Delta or size, but the numbers were pretty good.
      City: Rancho Cordova

Tips: Pressure bite. Don't assume it's the bottom.

      Water Temp: 58.5 - 61.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: What started out as a REAL slow day turned very productiveNO reaction bites to thrill you olks with but the WitchStick AKA Darthead and Mo-tex put 20 plus ish in the boat today. No toads best ive was about 11 lbs. I have been spoiled with the 20 plus ish days at Oroville the lat ew weeks and thought I had lost it. Bite picked up in the South Fork about 9:30 and got on a ew secluded protected Sun warming banks that were loaded with ish. God I love Pro Worms!!!
      City: Sacramento

Tips: Main Body had producing but with all the winds and weird weather the more protected arms produced. The bright sun shining on Northern banks was the ticket. Sorry my partner only boated Two.
