Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: This is just sad......
I went on this page to find out how's the fishing report on this lake is doing and all I get when I scroll down the site is you guys talking smack like little kids. I'm suprised if any of you guys are over 20. Face it, this lake is full of suprises and some days you're great and some day you're bad. Both of you guys are equal on the lake. Lets pull together and hate on the jet skiers out on that lake. NOW, they have no repect.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: no big deal bro ... just some friendly crap talkin'. i originally started posting in attempts to possibly help someone who doesnt fish 24/7 get a little action at the lake. this year the lake seems to be offering little action to the every-once-in-a-while fisherman. your right ... enough said. btw, winter is my favorite time to fish this lake. pitchin' jigs seems to work for me during that time of year. well, good luck and tight lines!!!

Report: I will be there Friday as well! I don't know where the **** you come off talking like that. I doubt you will show for some fishing action but how will I know who you are? btw, how old are you?? If you are over 20 I am going to be highly suprised!!

Report: JohnnyGirl - Good to hear you belong to a circle of idiots, now that doesn't need to be pointed out since you ,the leader, has spoken. FYI, I'm just talking trash. Although you "can't care less" you keep blabbing about your "sucess". You post your piddly 1 lb bass yet you don't mention the 12 lber you got "last week". hmmmmm. They post fish over 10 at the kiosk... where was yours? I am out there more than you will ever be, even though you still live with your mom. I'll be out there Friday as a matter of fact so I will look for you with your zebco snoopy deluxe set up and your girl scout outfit.
City: Morgan HillTips: JohnnyGirl, I got some cheese to go with your whine and you can wash that down with a hot cup of shut the f%$@ up. I got my lesson Big Daddy (you must swing both ways with that name) you can't catch em.

Report: hahaaa that is funny my friend! fishing is one thing CATCHING fish is another. i see you have a big mouth! seems your either jealous because you got skunked last time you went out or your just out to talk trash ... either way i could care less. btw, last week i caught a 12lb 4oz that a ranger watched me pull in. can you beat that or better yet, give me a day that your going to be out there and i will show you some good ole boyscout fishin ...
City: san joseTips: if you want to join the circle of idiots, we have a rep right here taking apps. seems that this big mouth needs a lesson from the big daddy of fishin ... JONNY BOY!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Whatever JohnnyBOY - you can stick with your dropshot and catch the dinks you've been catchin. What other presentations have you been using out there. Anyone can throw a dropshot and get bit. I would hate to see what you think is a 3lber. Are you working on getting your boyscout dropshot badge, sounds like you are almost there. Go bass fishing and release those panfish you've been catchin.

Report: hit the water at 8am stayed out for about an hour and a half. pulled in six fish between 1-3 pounds ... not too bad of a day. had to move up to a 2 1/2 foot leader before i could get anything. aarons magic roboworm minnows worked the best.
City: san joseTips: dropshotting still outfishes any other presentation at this lake.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out at 8 Am on tuesday morning. went with a buddy of mine who never bass fished before. rigged him up with a wacky worm senko and before u know it....and nice bass. 4-5 pounds, female with no eggs...nice strong fish....as for me, worked a texas rig with a large lizard slowly...nothing till i sped up my retrieve. then it was on for there.....caught 3 fish 1-3 and missed 2 bites....
City: San JoseTips: Seems like post spawn action is on when the conditions are right. Speed up when the water starts to warm, slow down and scale down after midday....

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I have been fishing this lake for the last two months at least once or twice a week. People out there swear by the wacky rigged senko but honestly I haven't seen one person pull a fish out of the lake using that rig!!! A dropshotted roboworm minnow (aaron's magic) pulls a constant 5-15 fish within an hour or two. I have even caught a fish two feet from the shore using this rig!!! Do yourself a favor and give it a try!
City: San JoseTips: DROP SHOT A ROBOWORM MINNOW 6-8 INCHES UP THE LINE AND HOLD ON!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Newbie,
Don't give up. The lake can be sporadic at times. When the bite is on it is definitely fun. Be sure to hit the weedless frog bite in August. Also, try and resist fishing with live minnows. Although it is very productive it is certainly as close as you can come to "cheating" in the sport of bass fishing.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Kind of new to the sport, but had the day off and thought I'd check out Calero. I probably would have been better off staying home. It was really windy, and I didn't catch a thing or even get a good bite. I used a weedless sanko, and a few other plastics. Also tried a Carolina rig, but again no results. Gave up and went home after 2-3hrs. I did see people with minnows (live) that were pulling in some pretty good fish.
City: San JoseTips: Think I just hit a bad day, with the wind and all, I dont think I was able to cast far enough. I might try this spot a few more times again before I give up on it.

Water Temp: Didn't Check
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Strong winds today, poor bite. For me, anyway. Managed only two yearlings on robo dropshot (California Rig?) after trying everything else in my box. My trusty baby brush hog? Nada! Old standbys senkos and spinnerbaits? Zilch! Furthermore, after today I can now add "windsurfing" to the list of sports in which I've participated. Got good blade action on spinnerbaits today without having to touch my reel handle. As an aside for those who might care, the minnow bite is ON! Saw four or five fish (all under 2 lbs best I could tell) landed in less than an hour by folks "kicking back" in an anchored boat. All fish, theirs and mine, were released.
City: Santa ClaraTips: If you're thinking about taking a kid fishing where they are likely to encounter some good action, consider minnows at Calero. And oh by the way, I think it's perfectly okay for adults to enjoy some hot action this way too if they choose to do so.

Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Went out to test out the motor on the new fishing boat. I cruised the lake for about an hour in the evening. Went back to the launch ramp at closing time and there was a long line of people waiting to get off the lake. I knew it was going to be another 20 min. before I was next in line so I zig zagged around testing my turning abillity for a couple of minutes and then beached the aluminum on the shore. There was still a long line of people waiting to get off the lake. I was immiediately approached by the ranger who gave me and three other people tickets. Apparently after 7:45 your boat must be in the no wake zone, waiting in line or else you get reamed! Typical BAY AREA B.S. I have fished that place my whole life, and I don't feel like ever going back, because you can't even fart around in an aluminum fishing boat with out getting hassled by Ranger D*ck.
