Water Temp: 59.2
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished for a couple hours this morning. Thought
there might be a good shallow bite. Bite was
slower then expected. Did manage to catch my
PR for this lake at 10.2 on plastics in bailey
cove. Just happened to be in the right place
at the right time.
City: San JoseTips: 2-4 more degrees water temp should do it

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Took out the float tube at 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM and did well. Split shot plumb 4" worm in the south end, Baby Wedge. Water is up and warming nicely, still muddy. Caught 14, most in the 1 - 3 lb range with 2 in the 5lb range. Wind and rain made it difficult to detect the bite, switched to blade in 10' depth after 11:00 AM. 8 on worm 6 on blade.
City: FremontTips: Once you find their pattern, work em slow with plastics. CATCH, CARE, AND RELEASE.

Water Temp: 59-63
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Today was a half day trip with Barry Damond visiting from Alberta, Cananda. It was his second day out with me and I was crossing my fingers he would stick a good one. Turned out there were no toads caught but I think he really enjoyed the weather and the fishing wasn't too bad. Boat traffic was heavy but the bass still were eating and he managed 8 fish to 4lbs and one nice fish that came unbuttoned unfortunatly. Fishing plastics slow in the back of creeks and secondary points is where we found em today. Bite was light. Main lake was busy and kept us in the 5 all day on both ends of the lake. Awesome weather today.

Report: Hit the water at 7:45 with a blade and stuck on a ncie solid fish, so solid I would have to say it was a carp. Fish came unbuttoned after 10 seconds. Swithed to a crank and caught one quick fish. Around 9am I went to the ripbait and didnt put it down til 12:15pm. Caught 16-17 fish mostly small with a couple fish in the 2lb range.
City: san joseTips: Fish them ripbaits hard and fast. All fish came in the 3'-8' range. Weeds rock etc all locations had fish.

Water Temp: 60F
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Hey,
My friend and I caught 12 bass between us that ranged from 1.5lbs to 5lbs from 8am to 1pm. We caught most of our fish in two locations. So, if you hook one work the area pretty hard. We were fishing between 1 and 10 feet of water.
Please practice catch and release in these reservoirs the mercury levels are pretty high in these fish. Some people may not be aware of the mercury levels warning for the fish; so try to inform them politely.
Good luck

Water Temp: upper 50's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out to Calero today around two, with clouds and a little bit of wind. Walked the bank throwin the craft jerk baits, fishin or tryin to fish the flats in baily cove towards the stream that leads into the lake. I came up with a big zero but as i walked down the stream towards some guys, this one guy was just reeling in a small bluegill and he threw it into a bucket up on shore. As I get closer to the bucket there are three really big fish in there which at first i thought were carp. But I picked one of em up just to see and it was a seven plus largemouth. I was a little bit ticked from not catchin anything that day but that really capped it off. I mean your not really suppossed to keep those fish with the mercury and everything, but these fish in his bucket were FULL of eggs and they were big. To me that is really unethical, and it really got me mad. If anything if he were to keep any fish I would rather it be the smaller ones who don't reproduce and yeild as many eggs as the bigger ones. I think if we all try to practice some catch and release that in the long run there will be more big trophies and more enjoyment for years to come. So to me if you ever see anyone doing this, just try to at least talk them into releasing the big ones and at best if they want to keep some, keep the smaller ones. It might seem like I'm barkin up the wrong tree here but I'm just concerned for the future of this lake and keeping its populations of BIG bass high as possible.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Carbon copy of yesterday with maybe 5 or 6 fish in the morning. A lot of fishing presssure today as is the case with most holidays..and a stiff wind out of the south..As the day moved along and the broken sunshine turned to thunder storms fishing really picked up. My guide trip guest today was Vince Lazzeroni of San Jose, Ca and was a good fisherman..He had to call an early day so I stayed around for a couple hours and cought a few for myself. Carolina rig and jigs
City: San JoseTips: Windy banks were holding fish and not many boats..Find less pressured fish.

Report: This Lake as well as all the lakes in the area are in great shape and looks like were going to have great fishing here in the south bay this year. Guide trip today was with Nick Gorman of Redwood City, Ca and Colin Page of Foster City. Morning bite was slow and steady with a bite here and there from the bank to 40 feet. As the front kept coming the fishing got better. From lunch on these guys ended up with 20 or so keepers to 4.5lbs with about 15lbs for there best 5. One jig fish in the 6lb range came unbuttoned for some reason followed by another broke off big fish with 5 minuts of each other. Carolina Rig and jigs.
