Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Only spent a couple hours out and got skunked. Marked lots of fish in 50+ and threw a jig mostly with a ittle drop shot thrown in. I didn't move around enough, I thought I could get these fish to bite and was wrong, decided to watch football.
Tips: Find fish relating to structure in the 20 to 30 ft range. Water has dropped so fish have moved off in 50+ and suspended. Don't try and make em bite, find some bait instead.

Water Temp: 49-50
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Dropshotted 6 fish. Largest went 2lbs. All fish were in the 18'-25' range. Threw a jig and got one hit, cranked for 30 minutes and nothing. Stuck with the 4" robo worm. Off the water at noon...
City: San JoseTips: Fish slow...

Water Temp: 49-51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hit the water at 8am and started throwing a shad crank in the back cove. Hit 2, 2lb bass back to back at 8:30am in 8ft of water. Snagged a huge carp that ripped out some serious line until the crank popped out. I knew it was carp by the 1"x1" scale left on the crank.
Hit 2 more bass on the crank at 10am in 8ft of water. All fish were identical in the 2lb range. Left the water at 1pm.
City: San JoseTips: Make enough casts with shad cranks and you will eventually get some fish. Got one hit on a drop shot and zero on the jig.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Tough day on Saturday for me. 5 hours and 3 fish. Lost 3 other opportunities on bad hookset. Plastics on or close to the bottom was the catchers for me this day. Got Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday to redeem myself.
City: San JoseTips: Friend caught an 11 pounder over here so don't come here with weak gear. Always be prepared for da next world record. Ya never know.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished for 3hrs got 5 with nothing big. Had to find the fish in groups in about 10-15 ft with shallow close by. Cut Tails and BBH split and C-rig'd. Slow Slow Slow. Not the funnest way to fish but still got some.
Tips: Mark fish and drag slow. Didn't try it but Drop Shot with a long tag end might be the ticket.

Water Temp: Not sure
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Some stupid folk on this thread I can see. Anyways, for the better people the bite is getting a little better. Caught a 3 & 5 pounder from shore today in about 10 feet of water. I would still say that the majority of catchable fish are a wee-bit deeper close to any quick drop.
City: San JoseTips: Both fish hit pretty agressively on plastics on the bottom. I don't truly believe that the slow presentation is a must just yet. Feel free to try reaction baits.

Report: Yes the boat and ski traffic can be really irritating especially when they use your float tube as a bouy. But I've found that in the morning before most of those guys are out there that the topwaters, and high speed baits work on the aggresive fish. As the wind and boat traffic pick up and the fish hunker down a little more, I switch to slower baits such as a senko, jig and pig combos, or a drop shot rig. I've fished this lake for many years and have caught HUGE fish out of here. The most important thing is to change tactics and strategies as the boat traffic gets worse. I hope your first visit doesn't keep you from comming back. This lake can reward you with some trophy fish.

Water Temp: unknown
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Slow day. Fished the east side of the lake in float tubes. Between Jay Hann and myself, caught four or five bass, all dinks except for one that took a Yamamoto grub on the last cast of the day (~1.75 to 2 lbs.). So, very slow. Jet skiers were annoying as usual, with one kid zooming between us and the bank, 15 foot clearance. Nice.
City: Belmont, CATips: Yamamoto grubs cover lots of water and accounted for all fish. Try the new White Ghost Tackle Bass Balm to add scent and sparkle to your lures, that stuff will help you catch fish!!!
Destroy all Jet Skiers. Are you with me? ARE YOU WITH ME???!!! If you're tubing Calero, tube defensively.

Water Temp: 65
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: went out with a buddy friday and started throwing a buzz bait along a no nothing bank between the horse shoe rock wall and the point to the right when i got slammed pretty good. after a two minute fight and a lot of yelling and scrambling for the net we landed an 11 lb 2 oz bass that was my first over 10 lbs. it was also my first bass on a buzz bait. im more into throwing spooks or pop rs. the rest of the day was not as good, we ended up with 4 more keepers to 3 lbs and a bunch of dinks. all in all a day to remember.
City: san juan bautistaTips: most everything was caught on drop shot with 4 inch brown or watermelon worm. the buzz bait was black and red with a gold blade.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out there with my dad for the first time on Sunday afternoon. We caught 5 fish and missed a lot of good bites. We only fished for about an hour or so. We were splitshotting bold bluegill and oxblood light red flake robo worms. The fish were small, but I saw a bunch of 5-6 pounders jumping. Missed 1 huge fish. We were fishing from the bank on the other side of the dam. Getting hit every cast. It was well worth it.
City: San JoseTips: Move worm fast. fish the rocky banks. No fish in muddy banks.
