Water Temp: 70-73
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went to calero on Saturday in out float tubes. Started out in the south end at around 630, third cast of the day on a top water i get slammed by a six pounder. No more topwater for the rest of the day all the rest of my fish on finness jigs with a pork trailer, black and red skirt, black trailer. Fished the rocky banks and cliffs of the west side of the lake. Constantly catching fish from 1.5 to 5 pounds. It was a little windy but definatly bearable. Ended up catching 3 1.5-2 pound fish, two three pounders, one 4, one 5, and one 6 pounder. Ended catching eight fish with a combined weight of about 27-28 pounds. Best day fishing out there i have had. Now im just looking for that ellusive 10 pounder, that'll be the icin' in the cake!!!!!
City: San JoseTips: keep all of your retrieves really irratic. Mostly all of the bites i had were when i popped the jig out of some rocks or cover. Caught that six pounder on the topwater, when i just began to reel it back in. Any sudden change in pase will get em' to strike. Good luck, have fun!!!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out on Friday evening for a couple of hours with my brother and caught only a few bass. Went and fished the back cove and picked up a 3 and 4 1/4 on a blue and silver speed trap within 1/2 hour of each other. my brother picked up a 2 pounder on a tandem blade white spinner bait. Conditions were very windy.

Water Temp: high 60's- low
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Calero today, from about 730 to 11:15 or so. Between three guys we caught 10 bass to about 3 pounds. Started off in the south end of the lake, throwin topwater, no bites, went as far back into some of the coves (very small water was LOW) got two on a senko in those areas, and also on the rocky points. Later in the day i switched to a jig and pig combo, picked up two fish just across the lake from the launch ramp. Lost a big one in a submerged tree...DANG!! Over all a really great day, not to many jet skies and crazy people driving them. :)
City: San JoTips: Be sure to fish the weed lines, and keep a close eye on your line, for some reason they were bitting very soft.

Water Temp: 76F
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hi,
I went fishing with my friend, and we caught 20+ bass between us. However, the largest bass was about 1.5lbs. We fished the points and drop-offs in 10' to 20' water.
Good Luck

Water Temp: na
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hit it up for the first time in several months and had pretty decent success. Not many Big fish but numbers kept me interested. Did have to find quiet water to get the better fish. I will definitely hit it up again real soon.
City: San JoseTips: 10 to 20 feet of water and drink lots of water. Most fish bit about mid-day.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Either get there early and fish for a couple of hours or get there late. Lots of bass boats as well as wake makers. Not much etiquette out there on either side. I was first out and managed to get my obvious line blocked by the second boat out. With the whole lake (although it being a small one) I get blocked. Not to mention the 5-6 other times in 2 hours. Good thing I have mellowed out with age. Did pretty good, got 4. All were decent fish to 3+ lbs. Cooler morning than usual with breeze early. Water dropping with fish moving out. Found the decent fish in 10-20 ft of water.
City: San CarlosTips: Marked fish suspened so found a ledge in the depth that I marked fish. Easy access to shallow and deep water. 1/2 oz Blade got 3 and got one on a buzzbait. Off the water by 10:30. Stick to your guns and don't waste too much time here.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Water Dropped quite a bit in the last few weeks and a lot clearer too. Launched at 8am to blue bird skies and rising temp. Tough day for me but scraped up 4 but no size. Marked a lot of suspended fish. Off the water at 11:30 since it looked like a fricking jet ski party out there.
City: San CarlosTips: Flipped any visible cover to start and got two dinks on a big cut tail. As it warmed up threw a c-rig deep and got another one. Threw a deep crank and got another one. I was all over the place even though its pretty small. Not much to say, hard for me to figure out. Get a reservation and get off the water before everyone shows up.

Water Temp: mid to high 60'
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Over the past week I have made four trips in which I was able to land 25 fish. Five of these fish easily broke the 5lb. marker with one closer to 8. A mixture of buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs and senkos have been the key so far. Activity seemed to be good for me after 5pm until sunset as I started off with senkos and jigs, moving to buzz and spinnerbaits evening progressed.
City: San JoseTips: Vary your retrieve until you find out what the bass are looking for. By all means, the larger baits are getting the larger fish.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: My brother and I fished from 8:30 AM to around 3:00 PM. Caught fish all day long, most on split shot plastics (6" lizards and worms) in 5' to 12' of water, a few on carolina rigged tubes. Dinks to 3 lbs.
City: San JoseTips: Fish the submerged points and along the weed line.

Water Temp: 75ish
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got there at 8 as I was asked if I had reservations. I couldn't believe it...Reservations? I went to Calero the last 2wks and heard nothing of reservations. Ended up getting on the water at about 10:30 and of course right as the sun's coming up. Buddy got a blow up on a spook and that ended the topwater adventure. Got one C-rig deep (20ft or so) off a point. Missed a couple deep. Had a good fish on a spinnerbait and lost it (outside weedbed close to deep water). Caught a big crappie on a blade. Pretty fun for the short time we spent out ther. Marked a lot of suspended fish, would have liked to be on the water for topwater early.
City: San CarlosTips: Get a reservation for the weekend. Ridiculous, but thank the jet skiers. I really cannot beleive how many people like those things. Tough for me but move around and find em.

Water Temp: 74-76
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: THis report is a little late but we caught fish crankin' points (3ft-15ft) and using 3/8 oz jigs(1ft-20ft) on rock walls and submerged stucture, and big brush hogs. (the colors are my little secret), but any color should work in brown or green. We had a good day with a lot of dinks, a 3.7on a crankbait, a 5.0 on a jig, and another 3.0 even on a brush hog. Fun day.
City: San JoTips: Shallow early, spinnerbaits and buzzbait around the weeds, then I usually start deep crankin points when that bite turns off, then hit the jigs and the brush hogs in 10 plus feet of water off rock walls and near points. Occaisional crankin' fish hit mid day and those usually have better size. evening bite is the best bite for me. but the 5.0 was caught mid day off a flat in 15ft. of water. This lake is the shit, have fun guys. (and gals)

Water Temp: Around 75
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished 4 to 6:30pm and it was tough. Got 2 carolina rigged in 20 to 25 ft of water. Missed 4 or 5, I will blame it on the wind or trying to watch my dog. It was really windy. Marked a lot of suspended fish and got nothing shallow. I should have covered more water and I should have stayed deep.
Tips: When you don't get em move around and cover water. Stick with whats working and don't try to make em bite shallow if they aren't there.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished friday and saturday evenings starting at about 2 pm. Fished from shore at the south end of the lake. The water is dropping and the bigger fish seemed to be holding up under the millfoil. My partner and I brought in around 20 fish, the biggest just over 5 pounds. Plenty of fish in the 3-4 range. All fish were caught on a texas rigged baby brush hog; with the exception of one caught on a white spinnerbait.
City: SunnyvaleTips: Try tossing your soft plastics into the weeds/garbage along the shoreline or on the flats, you just might catch da biggun!

Water Temp: 73-74
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I was the first boat on the water. Threw a buzzbait for the first hour and got 3 blowups and 1 decent fish. Went back through the same area and got 4 more on a texas-rigged worm. As the sun came up I carolina-rigged the main lake points and got 3 more. All fish were 1-3 lbs. Off the water by 11:30. Fun day.

Water Temp: 72-76
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Gotta wonder why the rangers here are such kooks. A guy intentionally almost hit me on his jet ski and almost nailed my trolling motor. I was pissed, went to the ranger to tell him to do something about it because I'm trying to stay out of fights now. He didn't care. He was jusy done tieing his boat to the dock and he didn't want to untie it to help me out. He said there's nothing he could do. So I just took off and went up to the jet skier myself and was just waiting for his smart ass response so i could tackle him off his jet ski, punch him in the face and then tie a rubber band around the throttle and let it ghost ride into the shore. But he said sorry so I let him off. This time. Rangers are quick to give you a ticket but when you need help. They could give a shit.
City: San JoseTips: Jigs, and deep diving cranks off points and submerged weed beds.(5-18ft) My buddy got a nice 4.5-5lbr on a crankbait right at closing on the rock wall in about 3ft of water.

Water Temp: 70 or so
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from about 3:30 to 5:30. Got blown all over the south end then went north to take down 5 between 1 and 2lbs. 2 carolina rigged and 3 spinnerbait fish.
Tips: Fished mudlines with rock to grass transitions. Got one on a point within a big weedbed. All in about 6 to 12 ft of water. Work a lot of water since it is a small. No tip on why jet skiers are idiots and why rangers are complete buttheads. I think they always got picked last when they were kids and now they have a badges and assume that they should be respected. Try being nice and thoughtful it just might work.

Water Temp: warm
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fishing the N. shore from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM produced three fish: dink, 1# 11oz., and a 2# 1oz. The larger fish took a 6" Yamamoto grub in white. Calero bass are always suckers for grubs. Hooked-up with a small one on a white spinnerbait, but it unbuttoned. HEAVY WINDS, bro! Pretty slow for 6 hours of fishing, but that's the way it is with shore fishing.
City: Belmont, CATips: Grubs on/around the weed mats, and cast sporadically for cruisers. Senko produced no fish, spinnerbait was only mildly effective. Try doughballs for the huge goldfish in the shallows. Saw a bassboat catching small ones on small cranks off main points.
-
Water Temp: 72-76
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Biggest fish this week was a 2.8lbr on a medium running crankbait off a mainlake point in 4ft of water and another 2.8 off a rocky point on a buzzbait. Lots of smaller bass out there hitting everything from brush hogs(carolina and texas rigged), spinnerbaits(slow with a jerk here and there), senkos(let em sit), dead ringers(carolina rigged, splitshotted), jig and grub combos(jiggity jig jig jig), and topwater action. Fishing weedlines has worked out a bit and fish tend to be in a variety of depths every day. Most action has come in the 5-10ft range. Go away wind please. FROG BITE WHERE YOU AT?!!
City: San JoseTips: Dropshot for dinks and for an occaisional bigger fish, spinner baits around the weeds, Brush hogs in deeper water.
