    Water Temp: 68

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Have not seen a posting or this lake in a long time. Tried it today or the irst time in 6 mo and igured out why no postings. The lake is in poor shape. Low water, overgrown with weed mats and the skiers are still out in ull orce. Fished rom 0930 to 2:30 the worse time o the day. Caught 6 bass. All small. No pattern. Caught 2 on drop shot, 2 carolina rigged brush hog, and 2 senko ish. All were caught along the weed line. Jigs didn't work nor did tubes.
    City: Foster City

Tips: I don't recommend ishing this lake until conditions improve. I Calero is your only option, go early or late and during the week. Fish the weed line with whatever you have in the box that you have some conidence in. Lots o suspended ish in open water eeding on balls o bait ish. Could not get them to bite however.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished late Saturday, water was lat calm and I was happy because I was using my loat tube but I orgot that usually when the water is lat calm the ishing is also. I tried Senko's, worms, Jig and spinner bait. I tried the irst 3 because that is what I got them on Thursday but that pattern did not work this time, I inally got 1 ish on a small spinner bait that went about 1 1/2 lbs. I tossed it over the top o the weeds and it hit as soon as it passed the weed line. Yes I did try a popper also because the water was perect or it but no takers on that either.
    City: San Jose

Tips: I normally ish the moon phases 1/4 to 3/4 ull, comming and going and do well, last Saturday night there was no moon that also can be part o it. Don't drink and drive, a guy died on Calero road just past the big dam Saturday night ater he took out a telephone pole and a ence I got there just ater it happened and drove over the Live wire because I did not see them, there was a case o beer in the middle o the road and parts o car everywhere.

    Water Temp: no gage

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had not ished the lake or 2 year, was playing gol, took out my loat tube to see i I could still talk to the bass and I had 3 that were willing to bite. I got 2 that went about 1 1/2 lbs and 1 that went 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. I got them all on a 7" red shad burkley power worm with 1/16 oz weight, I tossed it to the weed line and pulled in into deeper water real slow and they would hit about 1-2 eet pass the weed line. I tried a popper as the sun went down and had one blow up but no takers, I saw a catish jump that was so big it look like a stergeon, it came out o the water about 3 eet it must have went 30 lbs and it was not a carp.
    City: San Jose

Tips: toss your lightly weighted worms or senkos to the weed line and pull them back to you very slow, usually they will hit just pass the weed line as the worm drops to deeper water.

    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I ish this lake at least once a week and usually I can catch quite a ew ish (12 - 18 per day)but not yesterday. The weeds on the lake are choking all the coves and lats so it is almost impossible not having to spend hal the time clearing weeds rom your bait, trolling motor and prop. The main lake has so many jet skis and tow boats you can't stay on the water past 10:00. I bagged our ish to 3.5 lbs. The largest came on a 5" Senko color 194. I caught the other three on a drop shot rig early in the morning near the second dam beore the armarda showed up. Because o all the boat traic the water is starting to get really oily.
    City: San Jose

Tips: May be time to leave the lake alone until the water cools down enough to start killing the vegetation.

Report: Got a chance to go out last night ater work. Was out there or about 3 - 4 hours. Had 2 ish turn on a rog, nibbles but no takers on dropshot in 20' o water, and at the end o the day I was throwing the Jig to some Bush/weed edge and I was so turned o by this point I missed something really big. The jig hit the water, within 6" o the surace the ish rolled on it. I was asleep and missed it. It was really tough or me, I hope someone else was doing good and can tell me what I was doing wrong.I was throwing the Spinnerbait a lot because I know this lake is usually good or a couple with it but none today. I graphed a lot o ish 20' down, about 50' o shore, but no takers. Also there is soooo much bait in the water right now, I suspect that ish don't need to go ar to eat.
    City: San Jose

Tips: I don't have any, I hope someone can email me with help.Thanks,R. Duzac

Report: Got on the water about 1 oclock and ran right to the deep rocky point by the second dam. Threw a blade or a couple o minutes then started shaking a 6" roboworm that CV gave me a handull o a while back. Got 2 ish in 15-20 t o water in the irst 15 minutes. Then I wanted to ish the grass so I ran to the back big cove. Heard senkos were working well, but didnt get one hit on a senko ALL day. Didnt ish it too thoroughly though. Anyway, threw a luke or nothing, then started stroking them on a 1/2 oz shad pattern DUH!!! spinnerbait. Seemed like I was getting a ish every 5 casts or about an hour. Even got a buzzbait ish at around 3 pm that went around 3.5-4 lbs. Ater the bite slowed down a bit, I ran to bailey cove or about a hal hour and missed 2 more on blades. Some guy ishing rom a canoe got an 8 lber in bailey cove dragging a worm, nice!!! Marked ALOT o ish in bailey. Ran back to my starting point and started shaking a worm again and this time got a solid 4 lber. It was getting late at this time and I wanted to be close to the launch ramp or closing (wanted to stay at that point longer) so ran back to bailey and got a blow up on my buzzbait right away, but missed it. Started throwing a popper ( I RARELY throw poppers) and boated another 4 lber. Absolutely nailed my popper. Then switched to a super spook and got 2 more approx. 3 lbers beore it was time to go.

Tips: Bite seemed wide open (except or senkos!! HAR) Throw whatever youre conident in and you will eventually get bit

Report: Fished a couple o hours in the aternoon. Had a good bite in the mud line on the wind-blown shore. Was able to get 5 average sized (1.5-2.5lbs) bass in the boat. It was windy and I think that helped the bite. Used carolina rigged plastics in 3-10 eet o water.

    Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Lots o boats on lake and not too many isherman. Took daughter out or a ew hours starting at 1PM. Started shallow with blades and cranks and only had one bump on a blade. Had to go deep, I wanted her to get bit so I rigged up a dropshot rig and irst three drops produced ish. Threw a very small reaper and caught very small ish. Moved up the size to a 7" worm and started hooking better ish. Nothing big this trip but she got a three plus on one o the drops.Ended up catching quite a ew ish beore we had to go.
    City: Mountain View

Tips: When the crazies hit the lake, as they always do this time o year, your best bet is to stay deep, 20+ and work the deep points. Color didn't matter but not over working the bait seemed to help in getting more bites.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Slow day. One topwater ish (nothing to brag about sizewise), and eight ish on a variety o plastics. I ished everywhere I could. It was windy so I pretty much stayed o the main body hitting the coves and clumps o weeds. I'm anxious to know i anyone who was there on Sunday had any luck and what they used. I tend to have a tough time catching ish at Calero on the weekends.

Report: I tube in a U-Boat. I got nothing rom 10:00 a.m. to 12:00Then at 12:15 I got 3 strait on a Gary Yamo. Purple Double tail grub. The weeds are hard not to get caught on so I ished a little deeper than normal and I got them 2 were 2 lbs and one was 3 1/4 lbs. I have a little weigher. It is real handy. I hear that Dropshot is a better way. I'll have to try that the next time.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Stay out o the weeds. Go gust past them.

Tips: top water going to plastics along rocks as the day progress. Hard to ish anything else since there seems to be so much weeds.

    Water Temp: ???

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Been walking the bank the last few days and catching nice fish while doing it. Averaging 5-10+ fish per trip out. Bite is in Fall mode and jigs, blades, and a few other things are working well. Average size between 1-3 lbs. Had a nice fish on that took me deep breaking me off because I tried to horse her and the drag was set to tight. Not good when your only using 8# line. I'll get her... Bite is good from the shore. Will be taking the boat soon, need to be on the lake at least once this time of year.
    City: Mountain View

Tips: Jigs, plastics and blades have been working for me.
