    Water Temp: 64/68

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: All and All the fishing was great, I caught better than a dozen quality fish (2.5 to 4.5 pounds)on Live minnows. Also caught several dinks on drab green and black striped 6" perris lake special rubber worm, which also produced a couple of crappie. A crank bait (chartreuse and yellow rapala) produced a couple of fish the size of lure itself (fish began to suspend during mid day). Didn't work any spinnerbaits, but only have so much time and to many lures. Although the temperatures in the shallow went up to 68 degree, I didn't register any fish in this area. Most fish still caught in the 8' to 10' of water (specially after the jet skis stirred up the water). Early Morning fish were holding on structer in or about 4' to 6' range of water. The gate to the Lake will apparently be locked at the entrance for the rest of the season (8:00am entrance time)which held up alot fisherman. Good fishing to all, Rick

    Water Temp: Warm

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out in the afternoon/evening saturday. Fished a couple of places with just a couple fish on spinnerbaits. Around 6pm went to my favorite area and slayed them. They were hitting so hard they were almost ripping my GL3 out of my hands.Caught 1 @ 5.1lbs, 2 @ 4lbs, 1 @ 3 1/2lbs and 4 @ around the 2lb range. Not bad for a couple of hours of fishing! The tempature has changed and so has the attitude of the fish.
    City: San Jose

Tips: It's that time of year. They don't care what there hitting, if they dont like it consider it destroyed.

Report: Fished for a couple hours from shore. 3 bites fishing soft jerkbaits. Hooked into 2 of them. Lost a 2lber and caught a 1lber. Fishing shallow. Saw a lot swimming close in. I think this warm weather is bringing them back in. Hopefully no more cold fronts. This weather pattern (or lack of) is really doing a number on the fish and the fishermen. Water is still rising, no wind that morning.

Water Temp: 60 ?? (water wa

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Shore fishing. Not the greatest day, but better than last week. I only got three bites during the six hours I fished. I landed two and lost one. The large fish was 18 inches, and the other one was only 13 inches. The lost fish was maybe 14 inches. The lake needs about another week of warm weather, and then the fishing should take off as the bass move in for a late spawn. All of my bites were in shallow, stained water adjacent to deeper water. The fish were tight to cover. My retrieve was slow to moderately fast, stop-and-go, and I bumped the bottom. I also caught a beautiful King Snake (brown and white with green markings on its head).
    City: Campbell

Tips: There are plenty of ticks out there, but they aren't as bad as last year, and the mosquitos were a bitch in the evening. The asshole water skiers were just as annoying. Take some insect spray with you (and if you don't mind going to prison, bring some heat-seeking missiles for the pussy water skiers).

Report: Fishing was hard, had a couple short hits on shak'in worms. Fished blades, fluks and brush hogs and not a tap. I caught one big female at 15ft on a swim bait that weighed 9.8 lbs. If it wasn't for that fish it would have been a skunking.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Fish have lockjaw right now. Hopfully with some more good hot days they will get active agian. Did not see any beds yet. No more cold fronts!!!!!!!

Report: did very well before the storm last week throwing blades, but got skunked on monday, tried everything blades, plastics, down sized to 4 inch plastics, nothing. Looks like the storm put them in lockjaw. Hopefully if the weather stays constant theyll start moving back up. Water level was up from last week, still havent seen any bedding bass.

Tips: throw everything and let me know what works

Report: with the cold front moving in rapidly I thought that the fish were going to in lock jaw but that was not the case. Got to the lake at about five and fished with a terminator spinnerbait with the white skirt. landed a small dink in less than a foot of water right by the dam. Tried casting out about 25 to 30 feet out waited till the bait hit the bottom then slow rolled it. Caught 3 fish in the 3 pound range in about ten to fifteen feet of water, all quality fishes. Then decided to work the cove behind the bench, and landed a beautiful 5 pounder in less then 2 feet of water, would've stayed out longer but this bass tore up my spinner, took off the skirt, and the willow leaf blade on the damn thing. All the guys I talked with were fishing plastics to no avail. May be next I'll bring more than one spinner. good luck
    City: san jose

Tips: white spinner bait in the 1/2 onz size, and just make a lot of cast every where your bound to get some strikes.
