Report: We started around 7:30 am at Bailey Cove, in our float tubes. Tried Zippers with no luck. Changed to a crankbait and nailed them. Cought 3 in the 2-2 and a half range. They stopped bighting when the wind came up. Good Luck...
City: GilroyTips: Fish were in the deeper water in the middle of the cove. Light colored crankbaits...

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched in my kickboat from Bailey Cove and proceeded towards the stables area...nothing.Fished some wind blown banks with a jig, nothing again.I then made my way to a cove between the ramp and Bailey Cove. It was protected from the wind. I tossed a green weenie into some reeds and was able to land four fish in the last half hour of daylight. The biggest being about 3 1/2lbs.Also hooked and lost a nice one right before getting it into reach.
City: santa claraTips: Talked to some guy there on Saturday who said he caught one over 12 lbs. Could be true, I've caught an 8 and a 10 on the same day last summer. Carolina rigged(1/8 oz.) worms or twin tailed grubs in dark colors or chartreuse lizards.Brown jigs.
-
Water Temp: 64-66.5
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: launched at 9am. Was expecting a good day. Wrong. One fish. Off the water at 1:30. Talked to three other anglers, all were having a tough time. It was a beautiful day, though.

Water Temp: 60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Good day shore fishing. Caught 4 keepers and lost a 2.5 - 3.0 pounder. Fish weighed 1.5, 1.7, 3.25 and 6.1 pounds. I caught my fish on four different baits. A 7" crawdad-color paddle worm with a red and orange skirt with an embedded rattle. I also used a silver shad-rap, a tandem willow-blade spinnerbait with a shad-pattern skirt, and the big fish was caught with a shad-pattern roostertail !!! Switched to a shad pattern after my first fish had one stuffed in her pretty little face.
City: CampbellTips: Fish the primary and secondary points, drop-offs and creek channels for pre-spawn fish. Black and crawdad (i.e. brown/red/orange) 4"-7" worms fished slow. Deep-running (7 to 15 feet) crankbaits fished slow to moderate. Also, give a spinner/spinnerbait a try, but don't crank it like some Alabama yahoo in the summertime. Slow to moderate speed is the rule.

Water Temp: 50ish?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: We had a successful trip 2 weeks ago. I caught a 6lb largemouth on a 4" Witches T with a split shot rig across the boat ramp. It was in less than 10ft of water. We caught 2 other 1 lb fish both on the same rig.
City: CampbellTips: Plastic worms were the only thing that worked for us
