Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Went out of Big Break. On the water around 6:45AM, first light. Wind less than 5PM, after last week's rain and some serious wind the day before. Chasing stripes until about 7:30 until this fog bank rolled in from the East, headed back to the Marina and it cleared by 8AM, pushed into Dutch
but the water was really badly stained. Threw rattles, swim baits, cranks with no takers. It was high tide when I pushed out so the tide started to move out by 9AM. Switched my target to LMB throwing plastics but no action there either. Off the water by around 9:30 to warm up.Tips: Wear layers, bring hand warmers, if you see fog coming in head the other way or be prepared to use your GPS to find your way around.

Report: California Delta Fishing Report… Stripers and Sturgeon Rolling Wow finally keepers out number shorts. From Pittsburg to Three Mile the West Delta bite rages! Best Bite of the year is NOW!
Isleton
The salmon bite winding down as is the season. The bite in the area has been just mediocre all week. While we are continuing to getting reports of success from Salmon searching anglers, still Spinners are leading the way. Water temperatures have dropped with the cooler evenings. While fewer are fishing they are seeing larger salmon getting close. Stan’s Spinners are the best bet for those who want to try.
Walnut Grove
Stripes and sturgeon showing. More Stripes are in the area as anglers see the fall bite picks up. still around as temperatures return more seasonable in the Walnut Grove area as the trolling bite is OK mostly small fish. Red Eye Shad and small shad patterned plastics are the top choices here as well. Bloody Eel and Ghost are starting to get a few Sturgeon.
Discovery Bay
Wow Water temps finally in the 50’s have the bite stabilizing. Watch for birds as the bait finally balls up making it a bit easier to target both blackies and stripers. Stripers are moving throughout the Disco area and attacking A-rigs, Swimbaits and finally Big Wood like Dan’s Delta Mizers. The Stripes and Blacks are in main river Holland riverside south to Italian Slough. Hair Jigs and Strike King Bad To The Bone RedEye Shad getting bit. Black Bass cooler evening temps have water temperatures dropping and the bite on upswing! Reaction bites during the weather more finesse techniques when storms pass.
Frank’s Tract
Quality Stripers and bass bite both responded well to the cooler temperatures. It’s no secret what a little fall weather can do. Rip baits are great options while small swim baits and swim jigs get the mention. We found plenty of Stripers and Black Bass with Hair Jigs, Swimmers like the Diamond Shad getting grabbed. Flurries of Stripers on Old River Flats. On average getting 20 plus keepers a day to 10 pounds with an occasional Twenty!
West Delta
Anglers in search of stripers are finding solid numbers of keeper stripers from both boat and bank. Most of the nice stripers coming soaking Shad . Antioch Pier scored stripers to 33 inches this week. Shad is top offering. The West as in Honker Bay to the Broad Slough plug casting is getting fish when wind cooperates. Go On Top with Dan’s Delta Mizers, during the day go old school with Hair Jigs Like Dan’s Classic Shimmer jigs or Spro in open water White/Dark Green and White/Blue best this week. Sturgeon are grabbing the spotlight. Eel is the best bait over all, but roe and shad also scoring diamondbacks Broad slough and surrounding cuts.
Los Vaqueros Reservoir
Plants of trout continues to spurs the action. They are being caught in South Cove and Oak Point as well as Peninsula Cove. The baits of choice for shore anglers is garlic-scented PowerBait, nightcrawlers or Kastmaster lures. Trout average a pound and a half but range to over 5 lbs. Light tackle is important for catching trout with 4-6 pound test being plenty. Trout fishing is still decent, especially in the morning, with limits being caught around the reservoir and more fish being caught overall. Lots of limits are starting to show up from South Cove and from boats around the lake.

Report: From Cooch's Fishing
November 15 ·
Big swingin tides, full moon and stable water temps from 63 in the mornings to 65+ in the afternoon, brought the big fish bite we've experienced to a near hault. We managed to catch one really good fish each day on a jig, and the rest all we're 2 pound replacement fish. Still seeing a lot of giant pot bellied bass in the shallow grass beds, but they have become extremely difficult to catch. The grass is loaded with shiners and these fish must be feeding all night long, just stopped chompin during the day. Cooling temps over the next few days should turn it around. Lotta smaller fish can be found tossing ripbaits in the current flows on the inside corners of openings that flow into the vast flooded areas. This past week we had to move around a lot more and change up areas, fishing more spots ta keep the bites coming.

Report: Provided by Fisherman's Warehouse
Though some Salmon are still being caught, most anglers are transitioning to Stripers and sturgeon in the Delta. Striped Bass are being caught throughout the delta and sturgeon seems to be best from Sherman Island down.
Early morning top water bite has been good on Super Spooks and pencil poppers. Swimbaits like River 2 Sea S-Wavers and Savage glide baits are working good too. Bait anglers are having good success with cut and live baits.
Sturgeon fishing has been hit or miss with one day being exceptionally good and the next a little slow. Big Red Lamprey with night crawler combo seems to be working the best but if you find the right spot all the traditional baits are working.

Report: From Cooch's Fishing
October 29 ·
So today I got to fish with two looney birds, Chris & Marty. They run a lil production on the internet called, "We Suck at Fishing", they can be found on FB, Instagram, YouTube, all the social media stuff. First two hours we don't git squat, this is when they tell me they run this production and it's my job today to git them to step it up. So first thing I do is go into my lunch bag and take out my banana, "I guess it be prudent I rid the boat of this, eh guys?" They were split on the cause and effect of having a banana in the boat. After eating it I said OK, lefts go catch us some biguns. We roll up on a sweet spot of mine, I git a thump and wait it out till the fish drops the Jig, "okay they are here boys, both of ya, cast right over there to that big hole in the grass bed and work that jig slowly!" Plop Plop, 15 feet apart and Chris is rearing back, "Got One", it comes flyin out of the water and I yell, "Oh, that's a good one, KEEP THAT ROD DOWN!" Next thing I know Marty is hollerin, "Got one too, big one, Big one!" Nice double fellas, Chris' is his personal best! A few photos and weight, fish released and Marty is right back in that same hole with his second cast! He does't even git two hops in before he's rearing back again, "Oh (BEEP), it's a big one Cooch", Keep that rod down Marty, he isn't getting it and this 7lb12oz toad does somersaults three times before I'm finally able ta land it for him. Holy crap, another personal best, this time for Marty! Then I bring out that second Banana, MYTH DISPELLED BOYS! After 20 minutes of no bites we moved down the slough to another big offshore hole. I'm the first one in and git a big bite, pause, she lets it go and I tell em, "Okay boys, just like that last double, both of ya, git it in right there!" Like clock work, PLOP PLOP and they both rear back and set simultaneously on yet another double, this time a much bigger pair than the first time. 2nd double and yet a second new PB fer Chris. Bingo, five fish fer over 30 pounds in basically three casts! Caught a bunch of fish today after that, mostly under three pounds all in 6-8 foot grass beds on the Booby Trap and new Gunpowder TNT Wadda Jigs. For two guys who don't know how ta fish, they're gonna have a hard time splainin' this one to their viewers! HAR! I LOVE my Job!

Water Temp: 65
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Went out of big break this morning and was surprised not to see a single bird in the air hunting for, letting along dive bombing for striped bass. Got out at slack low tide, beginning of incoming tide, around 1st light. After throwing top water plugs and walking too many dogs I heading into Dutch and took out my crank bait. Just fished the rip rap and went with the flow of the current. Very little wind, caught 12 striped bass almost legal, no little shakers, and released them all. Also caught about 8 black gass, largest to 2 pounds. Off the water at 11:30. The fish are biting deep red crawdad color.
Tips: Get out there early to enjoy the sunrise. Even if no birds there are plenty of fish in the system.

Launched at 8 with low expectations for top water but got a frog fish at 9.
Water ranged from mid 60s to 70 degrees through out the day and depending on location.
Saw fish busting around the docks in Piper but not in any of the usual back-of-cove spots.
Can't tell if the Fall bite is on yet. Is it?

Report: Fishing Update Courtesy of Fisherman's Warehouse - Sacramento
Salmon bite is doing well, anchor fishing or trolling using Silvertron Spnners and FLatfish at Verona. The double blade UV Silvertron with Chartruese and Silver Blade or the all silver Double Blade with Green and Pearl Beads. The Green Head/Silver Body Flatfish is doing well also.
Salmon jigging in the Sacramento from Miller Park to Clarksburg has been very good. With the majority of the bite being in the early morning or evening (4 to dark). Blade Runner Tackle Spoons, Silvertron Slammers and P-Line Laser minnows are working the best in the 2 to 3 ounce size. Electric Chicken or Dark Emerald from Blade Runner Tackle, Black with Copper Flake from Silvertron Slammer and P-Line laser Minnows in Purple and Black and the Chartreuse and Silver.
Striped Bass bite in the Delta, trolling and on bait is going good. P-Line Angry Eyes and Yo-Zuri have been the best producers. They are not picky shallow or deep trolling.

Report: Fishing Update Courtesy of Fisherman's Warehouse - Manteca
Fall Fishing is in full swing! Salmon fishing on the river has really picked up this week with the recent rain and cold night temperatures. Throw chartreuse spinners from the bank or troll Kwikfish or Silvertrons from the boat. Anglers are getting a few fish jigging in the Freeport area.
Stripers have moved into the south delta with lots of schoolies with an occasional 8-12 pounder.

Water Temp: Electronics are disabled. I bet it's about 68-70
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Big Break this morning and the sky was cloudy with birds diving for bait fish. They were solidly in the skies hunting for 45 minutes. A few boils and caught 2 stripes using a chrome and black RT. Both fishies were almost legal. About 4 other boats in the area. Tried top water and swim baits but no takers, so moved into Dutch and fished the rip rap with a Storm crank bait, crawdad color, and caught 8 striped bass, nice size, 2 of which were about 20 inches, the rest were borderline legal but nothing smaller. Also caught 4 large mouth bass the biggest was about 3 pounds. The others were about 1-1.5 each. Fished from 7:15-10AM, then off the water 'cause the bite turned off.
Tips: It's all about the morning bite. Get out on the water for sunrise. 15 minutes can make the world of difference. Keep an eye out for floating timber. For some reason there's a bunch of floaters out there.
