    Water Temp: 54'

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the incoming tide in West Delta. Fish were tight into the tules. Catching them on dark colored senkos and surprisingly, they were smashing crank baits. Once the tide got high and wind picked up, nothing. Moved around into Franks but the rollers were tough to fish. Ended up with 10 fish up to 3 1/2 lbs. No big ones
    City: south San Francisco

Tips: Threw a variety of baits and colors but they only wanted dark colored senkos and crank baits, tight in the tules.

    Water Temp: 58-62

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Weird tide, high all day. Weather was great. Only 2 mph breeze, some am overcast. Left Lazy M around 7:30. Fished Italian for only 15 minutes. No bites. Went straight to Mildred Is (south end). Fished points from 5-10 ft. Slow tide but water was moving. No wind. Caught 15 BB to 3 lbs over the next 1.5 hrs. Very gentle bite. Headed to Cruiser Haven. No bites. The tide was VERY high so we went into Widdow Is. Caught 5 BB to 2 lbs. but no bigguns there yet. Fished outside of Widdow and picked up a couple more dinks. then headed in. Nothing big but good to finally get some action. Although we threw B/Bl jigs, Speedtraps (shad) and Green Weenies, me and my buddy always have our best success with the weenies. No hits on the crank and only one hit off the jigs.

Tips: if you're not going to report where you went to fish, could you put what marina you launched from or at least what section of the Delta you fished (North, South, East, West)? I'd say that piece of info is the most helpful

Report: Knock it off with all the racial comments. PC or not this is a fishing website not a political commentary site. You should be ashamed of yourself! If you see someone break the law call it in, otherwise keep your narrow minded stereotypes to yourself. Breaking the law is breaking the law. PERIOD!!!

Now can we please talk about fishing?

Report: Gentlemen, let me remind you that this is a fishing reports section. In as much as Pondpoacher has violated posting policies, and we love the response by our FellowFisherman, which we couldn't have said better ourselves, we will be removing both posts as this type of ethnic slander will not be tolerated here or anywhere on Westernbass.COM.
    City: oakley

Tips: Stick to reporting your fishing results, good or bad. This is not a chatroom or platform for you to spout off otherwise.

    Water Temp: 51-52

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Despite rain/clouds, 52 degree water, and a decent breeze on Sunday, we couldn't muster anything that even qualified as a BITE in about 7 hours of fishing. We ran up to 3 sloughs out east/north as well as Tower Marina, fishing both shallow and deep, throwing everything but dynamite overboard. Given my buddy and I have easily bruised egos, we can't possibly blame ourselves, and instead I'll just say that the front had pushed through in the overnight hours, leaving in its wake an entire Delta-full of startled, stunned, and outright confused bass who refused to open their mouths to our offerings. I take comfort in knowing that I can't possible fare any worse in the next outing---only equal it! :x
    City: San Rafael

Tips: I was hoping you could give ME some! Maybe the fron IS (was) to blame on that day. Try to plan for outings just BEFORE the front pushes through, when it's supposed to be best. If you can't, just try any/all things you have in your arsenal, with emphasis on slowing down. Despite our trying both reaction AND slowwww soft plastics/pitching (and everything in between) it just plain did not make a difference that day.

    Water Temp: 53 - 55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of disco bay ran to middle river fished Chatterbaits,Senkos,Beavers,And Jigs. Keying on low tide small isolated grass clumps around Green tules. A front was moving in and for us the fish didnt turn on untill it got overcast and the tide began shift to incoming then for about 20 mins it was on. Using Blu/Blk jigs Just flipin and working em real slow.Near isolated grass.Caught a 6 lbr and a 3.5 on almost back to back casts. Have to cover water to find em but persistance pays off.
    City: Santa Clara

Tips: Blu/Blk jigs w/beaver trailers. With rattles on Jig. Blu/blk Jigs Chigger craw trailers w/out rattles for vibration. Look for current breaks with isolated grass clumps. Look For the Green tules we didnt seem to get bit around brown/Dying tules. Slow presentation.

Report: James - I was in the same area on Saturday - right BEFORE the front came in. Same story - a full day's effort resulted in a single 2.5 pounder. Had two other misses. The one I caught was on a speed trap but I also threw everything I had, every way I could. I expect (hope) things will improve rapidly as the water warms and the days get longer.

Report: Primary focus for today was to see if spawn was on or near (staging). My answer was a definite "no bite" Used weenies, cranks, jigs from 8AM to 2PM at Italian, Old River to Victoria & Widdow Is. Outgoing tide, good water, 6 mph wind, 55 deg water.
Got 5 bites all day, 4 from one very aggressive 1.5 lb male that I eventually hooked.

    Tips: Take Team Dean's advice

    Water Temp: 49-52

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: I did not take the custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out this afternoon since I was "on call" for my family. As nice as the day appeared to be this afternoon while I was walking the banks around Ladd's Marina and the Sail Boat club across the street. The jig bite was still going good, largest bass cuaght/released this afternoon went 6 lbs. using a brown jig w/punkinseed & chartruese power craw trailer. With the second month of 2011 almost gone I'm almost out of jig supplies as well. The water clarity still needs to improve from the last storm, but spring is coming soon. :-)
    City: Stockton

Tips: Must keep looking for clearer/warmer water, sprint time is around the corner.
