Water Temp: 65 to73
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Rivers End about 6:15 am . Started with top water popper. Caught a couple of Black Bass and then saw up the canal from Me bait being chased on top. Went there and threw my dying shad popper. Big swirl behind it and then it just got crushed. 15 pound striper !!! Caught 5 more that were in the 2 to 5 pound size before it shut off. Threw cranks and Senkos the rest of the day. Ended up catching 22 legal Blacks, and 6 undersized . HOT DAY. Drank about 10 waters and still lost 5 pounds when I got on the scale that night. In the afternoon the drunk, music pounding, shouldn't own a boat crowd came out so I stayed in back waters. Biggest Black Bass was only 3pounds 14 ounces.
City: BrisbaneTips: Work top water and swimbaits in the early AM. then throw jigs, Senkos, and Brushogs . Dark green seems to be the color.

Report: Need some help finding 8+ lbs LMB. We been around disappointment slough, white slough, mildred, frank's tract n found 3+ lbs n under. Saw 5+ lbs in white slough where there's little current flow. Lots of fry around grass n wondering should i be flipping into the grass? I heard after they spawn it's take 7-10days b4 they start feeding again. I know each days goes by they oppertunity to catch a LMB of a life time is closing behind me. I'm trying to beat my record of 6.6lbs from April 09. It's tough when u don't know where to find the fat girl. Ur info n thought would be very appreciated. Good info n secrets are hard to come by.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Did some experiment today by using assorted dark-colored worms---they all worked! Nothing big to brag with the biggest about 4.5 lbs. A lot of 1.0-2.0 lbs. Of course, they were all caught by the wall in front of Sugar Barge. I just threw them dark worms (Texas rig) in the tullies and let vibrate. Maaaan! A lot of boat in the area.
