Report: Only ished a total o 7 hours over the 3 days. Friday aternoon, while the kids were swimming o o the boat, caught a 5 pound largemouth on a baby Senko. Saturday ished 3 hours in the morning - only had 3 small ish, all on topwater. Sunday morning things were better. Had a limit by 7:30, including two 4s and a 3 pounder. All ish came on topwater. At 8:00 the topwater bite died and I was able to pick up an occasional small spotted bass on a Senko.
City: PinoleTips: Fish topwater poppers rom irst light until the bite stops, then switch to small plastics.

Report: Got on the lake at 11:00AM Fri. Already 90 degrees. Stopped at the South shore camping area. First cast nailed a 7.33 LM on a Senko in 3 t o clear water near chunk rock wall. Weighed, photo, and released at the N. Shore Marina dock. It was all down hill rom there. Did well that evening on top water and senko. Same deal early Sat AM the top water bite was great until about 8:00 AM then shut down. A guy and his kid ishing the same water I was took three 5.0's in about 15 minutes within a 50 yard stretch. They won a tournament they were in with 19+ lbs. or 7 ish.
City: Foster CityTips: Top Water early and late when the water glasses o. Use popping baits like a Splashit or PopR or best action. Didn't get a thing on the spook or buzzing. Smoke colored seko worked best. All senko bites were within the irst 15 seconds o all.

Report: Went ishing in the Narrows to aviod the wind, which really wasnt that bad ater all. We tried a number o coves. We caught most o our ish dragging worms (6" in various colors) around submerged trees in 12-15' o water. Submerge trees around the small islands where the gravel and sand came together seemed to be our most productive area (either luck or maybe because the bass are about to look or beds). As the water temp. increased through out the day we tried to throw spinnerbaits. Caught one at about 1 1/2 lbs., but that was it. Worms and other slow baits are deinitely the way to go until the weather remains a little most consistent. Caught 6 on the day rom 1 1/2 - 3 lbs.
City: PhiladelphiaTips: Worms or jigs around trees rom 12-15' near gravel or rock. Try spinnerbaits or other aster baits when you get bored, hopeully the bite will turn on.

Report: Went up to Camanche or the irst time to take a look at the lake or an upcoming tourney in March; even though it will be a whole new ball game in March. Fish came on a Yamamoto spider jig set-up in cinn. brown with large green lake in about 25 eet o water. The ish have moved up into the wood now. I only caught our ish in the two pound class by dragging the jig very very slow. My buddy caught the same class o ish with a big ish o 3.33lbs. He was hopping the jig through the brush and weeds; more ish and better quality ish by doing so might I say. I was still stuck in the New Melones bite that took place earlier this month; I guess that i should have changed up huh?... I was also told that people were on ish up river with good numbers...but mostly spots.
City: resnoTips: Use a 4 inch spider jig set up in cinn. brown with green lake...drag and hop as you ish it to keep it in and out o the weeds....good luck!!

Report: Sat. a.m. we began ishing at sunrise, and at 7:30 Mike landed a 11/2#er on a crankbait bumpin it o the bottom. We ished timber in 5 to 10 to water. Mike started jiggin what turned out to be the bait we would use therest o the day, the ole GITZIT 4" tube bait, letting it all down the side othe sticks, beore 11:00 he had two more 1-2#ers to my zippo. Ater lunch weished the sticks some more and I was getting depressed ater he latched on toanother one, this time a 3#+ Florida strain. I was just takin pics o mypartner and his ish riends, when inally my luck changed and he got to takemine, and then another, then it was back to me being the photographer. I havejust started to seek these predators, and right now I thank my lucky stars, thatMike is taking the time to teach me what he knows. I couldn't wait til Sundaya.m. to go at it again. The weather changed quite a bit, it never seemed towarm up, I couldnt even eel my hands, we tried some !dierent areas and some o the same, Mike hooked up on three but didn't get 'emin the boat. I got a 1 1/2#er, and had what Mike said was to be a pretty goodsize ish but I was so jazzed I smacked the poor ella into the side o theboat, and all I saw was his tail-end. Can't wait til next time. All ish wecaught were photographed and released.
