Water Temp: 53
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Was on the lake at 0700, small breeze of around 5~. Calvin and I headed to the main lake to see it any bait fish had worked their way into the coves, no luck. Fish on, off a wind blown point (1lb), Fish on, again off a wind blown point (3.75lb) and this fish was caught at the boat, like with 5 ft of line left close. Moved off the points as the wind started to die down in search of those bait fish in coves. No luck. Moved back to the main body and slowed our presentation down and started to catch more. Enof of day: 6 fish, 1 in the slot for a grand weight total of about 11lbs. And for all those keeping tabs I caught two. Calvin and Rich are on Lake Oroville today so look for the post tomorrow from Calvin.
City: Plumas LakeTips: Reaction baits in the morning on the windblown points, with a jig or worm presentation in the afternoon with no wind. Nver thought I would say this but we actually were hoping for wind in the afternoon but we still caught our fish.

Water Temp: 56.6
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Well the lake is certainly down make no mistake about that, but the fish are alive and well. Got on the water at first light and it was a tad windy say around 10mph~, but we motored on out off the main lake (it got cold then!), we headed up a small arm in the lake with a little less wind, we saw some fish busting on top so gave that a try with no avail. I switched up to a Normans DD14 in Chart/blue and fished off the wind blown bank about 35' and I ran into a few fish. First one was the biggest going about 3lbs, then two casts later bang, hooked a 2.25lbr
had another but failed to set the hook good enough. Could have been a good'n, may have been a minnow for all I know!
City: Plumas LakeTips: Fished at a moderate pace, switching up different retrieves until the fish told me what they wanted. Just felt a bit of pressure no real hammerin' on the bait, both caught were on the back trebles but on the inside, off the mouth not foul hooked, so they were chaseing but only for a bit. I believe that front pushed in and turned the bite off. No real takers on a blade, or dart head. Maggs, it's your turn to catch next time brother. Later on Yall.

Water Temp: 75
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Got a late start today and headed up to the Bear Creek Arm. Action was slow with plastics and fish weren't very big. Switched over to blades and Voo-Doo's nailing fish right away. The fish seemed to be right near the bottom close to structure and when we were hitting stumps and rocks the fish reacted. Big fish of the day was 3.7 lbs. 27 total for the day.
City: FolsomTips: A guy at work gave me a new bait called the Voo-Doo, it was extremely hard to find until I found their website. This thing really blows away the chatterbait, and it's now one of my favorite lures.

Two of three caught on steep walls in 20'. The third was in the channel at 20'. Plastics and let if fall straight down. No topwater, blade or reaction bite found. Moved to the dam. The wind blew me off the main body. Headed for home.

Water Temp: 79-82
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Quency and I started out at 6:30am when the gate opened at the North Shore. Light winds for the first two hours. So we headed into the Quarter Mile Cove area with a small spook, buzz bait and a popper, no takers. spinners did ok and lizards. We next moved to the Bear Creek before the lake lice came out. Hitting the rockey points on the way up, finding some small bass in 1-2 lb range. After going back into the canyon and finding the colder water (65 degs) we found the larger bass around the rocks in 10 to 25 ft. My JK jig in brown/orange with #180 grub, had 5 bits and three 2.0 to 3.0 pounder largies. Very slow morning so we went back down to the main body and stayed in 25-35 ft looking with our light gear picking up a few more bass in 1 1/2 to 2.0 lbs.
City: rocklinTips: Fish slow and small.

Water Temp: 65-69
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Not bad timing for a holiday weekend. Monday morning was a good time to hit the water at CFW when everbody was still sleeping in with a hang over. The water was warm in the rock creek, no top water bite, crankin or spinner bite. Good lizard, brush hog on a texas rig or a jig in brown or brown/purple. Flipping the bushes or trees and retreving it slow was the ticket. 25-30 fish from 1 to 3 lbs until noon when the lake lice came out for there fun time. A nice sunny morning on the water
City: rocklinTips: Green pumkin or watermelon colors

Report: My wife and I went out to CFW to try out the new boat. I saw baitfish being pushed against the bank on a point on the south end of the lake. Caught em on poppers, spinnerbaits, and drop shot worm. I even had two two pounders on one popper. Total of 19 for the day. Fish were mostly on the small side but it was a lot of fun.

Water Temp: 58-61
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The Lake is still muddy in most places and stained in most of the rock creek. Hit the water early 7:00 am and headed up the Rock Creek, water was 59-60. Using spinner bait first right off the bank picking up our first 12 smallies and a few largies from 1.5-3.0 lbs. Some must be spawned. Switching to dark color JK Jigs for the rest of the morning getting another dozen or more.
Good clouds for the first part of the morning helps the fish to stay up shallow. Sun came out and the fish moved out. He did move up the Bear Creek, but the water was 5 degs. colder.
Stay in the Rock Creek area for now. Leaving at noon the a fair bag of 13 + lbs for our best five fish.
City: rocklinTips: Use dark colors until the water clears. Green Pumkin, Blacks, Purples and a good scent.

Report: At it again this AM. Found another cove just off of where we were yesterday. Prospects seemed good. Threw my reaction bait...DONG...2+lbs large mouth. Calvin hoked and landed a bass some minutes later (congrats) on a spinner. Cal landed 4 more 1.5-2lb bass and I ended up with a total of 2 for the day. Off the lake by 130.
City: Plumas LakeTips: Didnt seem to matter what we were throwing today (jigs, reaction, spinners) fish were gobling them up. See ya on the lake

Water Temp: 55-65
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Calvin and I got on the lake around 230-300 this afternon and went exploring. Fished a semi-submerged "finger". Cal had a few hits on a jig. I fished a reaction bait and landed a smaller LM keeper (1.5-2 lbs) while retriving my tree'd crankbait. We then moved to a grassy shoreline and found some spawing FrenchFish (Carp). Got a nice Cat on my crankbait then landed another small LM (1lb or less) on my reatction bait. Cal hooked a small LM but got off before he boated it.
City: Plumas LakeTips: All and all a good day. Chartrouse (bad spelling) worked well with Bass just out from the shore where the FrenchFish were spawing. Good Fishing and see ya on the lake.

Water Temp: 49-57
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: With all that rain water coming in the water is realy muddey. Quency and I fished the 1/4 mile cove area first finding two nice smallies with a white spinner bait. Then moving to rock creek using brown/purple JK Jigs with a # 180 crub finding 12-15 1-3 lbs spots and smallies right on the banks within 2-5 ft. This weather ever breaks the fishing will be great. For now be sure to use a strong sent and work slow. Crankin works also.
City: rocklinTips: Dark colors in muddie waters and maybe with a rattle, rattle traps, spinners and jigs

Finished up with somewhere around 30 keepers. Bite was good everywhere we tried. One blade fish in the am and all the rest on what else? the "tube" of course.
City: RosevilleTips: Color didn't seem to matter, fish in 5-10 feet with a few deeper. Look for banks with some rocks.
