Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished Camp Far West Wed. Caught about 15-20 fish in about 4 hrs of fishing. I caught about 10 early on ripbaits in the river arm. I caught the rest sight fishing in the shallow coves. All sight fish were small males about 2 pounds or so. I saw a few beds but I caught a few males who were cruising shallow looking to make beds. Wherever i saw tree stumps there seemed to be a male nearby locked onto it. I caught them on small darthead worms after annoying them for a while. I released all fish so they could get back to making nests. No big fish but a lot of fun watching the bass eat your lure.
City: YUBATips: A pair of polarized glasses is a must for sight fishing. Also releasing fish is very important this time of year. Good Luck.

Water Temp: 55-59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Water is starting to clean up but still stained so we started out in Rock Creek with dropshot and blade. Dropshot was out very quickly and we took to blades as it produced some very nice largemouth with the biggest topping 3+. Got my first Senko there this year, nice ones dragging a lizard on a carolina rig and the rest on jig. Saw the neatest thing as we neared a tree in the water it looked like a beaver was laying in the V of the tree about 12" out of the water and by golly it was! Wanted to see how close we could get to the big guy and it allowed us to get as close as we wanted and from a couple feet away, we took some photos and it looked like it was going to back into the water so we left and it went right back to its' laydown position. He wasn't stuck or anything, just chillin' and we thought it was really neat to get that close to such a wild animal. Want to thank Dick Gold for taking me out as I have been a house prisoner for almost 2 weeks due to foot surgery and man was it good to get back on the water. Got a total of almost 20 fish, all keepers and about half and half spots and largemouth. Nice day and getting better every day.
City: WheatlandTips: Slow rolling a white/chartruese blade with one willow leaf and one colorado blade. Usual brn/orange jig with Yami trailer.

Water Temp: 46.2-49.6
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished today with a riend rom work. We got on the water about 11am and started in the main body. Not a bite till 3:15 in one o the cove onthe south/east side. We ound the ish sitting on a ledge in about 25t. Pulled 7 ish othere..me using carolina rig,2t.leader, 4" magicworm in morning dawn color. My partner used split shot with 4" blue ghost color. We worked the south back (large Flat area) to pick up 3 more. All were spots 1 to 2 pounds. Word o advise/// the dock is not very deep at the launch ramp. They need to move it deeper i they want me back at the lake. You can still launch, however it would be very hard i you are by yoursel. good luck and good ishing, Phil
City: RosevilleTips: 20/25 t deep using 4" worms will pick up a good amount o ish, however I believe a good jig bite will turn on any day or the big ones.

A quick early morning reaction bite per other boaters but we didn't ind it. We launched with a local bass club who, in the darkness, asked us, a couple o strangers, to hold the prize money. HAR!! Good group o guys but a little too trusting!

Report: Went out this morning with my son and his riend. First boat on the lake at 6:45 with a light wind out o the south. Worked the river arm. Only saw 1 ski boat or the irst 5 hours. Caught 14 with shad imitation plastics and pink worms. Third trip there in the last month and this was the toughest. O the lake at 1:30 with the ski boats and drag boats starting to take over the lake.Last weekend was a jet ski competition and this weekend is a hot boat event. So stay away on the week ends.
City: Citrus HeightsTips: Shad plastics worked against the shore with a steep drop nearby. Early they wanted ast later they wanted slow, they will chase.

Water Temp: 73
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Last time I ished this lake was 8 years ago... it certainly gets busier now than it did back then. Hit the water Thursday aternoon and did real well with shad imitation crankbaits up the Bear river arm. The wind came up that evening, and Friday morning brought overcast skies. Caught alot o ish on plastics (any color except black) and a ew on topwater. Nothing on spinnerbaits. Skies cleared Friday aternoon, and the evening bite was good on both crankbaits and plastics. Then, the yah-hoo's showed up. Fishing all but died as the boat traic increased. Continued to pick up a ew ish here and there i you could ind quiet places away rom the other boaters. All in all, caught over 60 ish in 3-1/2 days, mostly dinks, but a ew good ish in the 1-2 lb. range.
City: Fernley, NVTips: Hold your boat in 25-30 t. o water and cast to rocky areas o shoreline. Most hits came in the irst 1/3 o the retrive. Shad imitation crankbaits & plastic grubs, worms and Senkos... white seemed to be the best color, but every other color we used caught ish too. Fish during the weekdays.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: launched @ 730am. started up around shoreline and small coves up towards jackson creek arm. tossed #194 Senkos and boated #'s o spotties rom 1-2.5lbs. my buddy(whos birthday was on that day) kept switching between topwater poppers, purple worms, and gitzits, with no strikes. yet he reused to use my aresenal o Senkos.Bad move! It took him 15 ish o mine later to inally land his irst bass. there was a hot submerged tree close to the bank that yielded more bass or me including a 3.5# largemouth.(also had a lot o hangups along the branches and did break one o my cheaper rods due to careless action). beore we got to the bear river arm, hooked into one that was 5# or better but ended up coming unbuttoned. i did use a ew other baits, but 90% senkos and all o my ish were caught on them. did not ish the south side shoreline. ended the day with 24 bass, only one o them largemouth, lost on 5 or 6 other strikes, and the largest was the big spotted o 6lbs 11oz.Thats pretty darned big or a spot, never hooked or seen a spot that big beore. did not have my digital camera with me not expecting any trophy ish, just my digital scale, but would have loved to have gotten a picture. thats like a once in a lietime catch or a spotted bass! shes back in the water though, since Catch and Release is always preached, as my buddy ound out watching me tossing every ish back to the water. I elt bad or him or he only landed 2 ish. weather was beautiul that day and only a ew other boats out. looks good when the lake is ull like this.(and no damned waterskiers or jetskis.)they will be there soon, very soon. get out there. preerably a weekday.
City: yuba cityTips: very ew surace breaks. invest in some senkos and ish them SLOOWWLLY! and on the bottom weedless and weightless.deadstick 'em with an occasional twitch or drag. or just drag them along in 8-12eet o water. Stick with a 1/0 hook and no wide gaps. may lose some ish

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Forgot to post our report. started around 9am. irst hookup on 3rd cast with Senko. a spottie just under two lbs. between me and buddie, 2 more hits and then it shut o or a while. later ished cove near water truck area and he hooked 3 more spots o same size. closer to rock creek arm, ishing was better. 8 bass, 3 o which were largemouths. most on pulse worms and senkos in pumpkinseed in around 12-15t water. caught one on a countdown rapala in brown trout pattern. no ish o real size. but nice trip, clear and ull water green scenery. on our way out, stopped near shallows beore gate, and watch a largemouth breaking the surace regularly which appears to be 8lbs or better near some brush pass the allen trees. so go get her!
Tips: ater storms, and with warming weather, get ready or the aggression. please remember to catch and release and set hooks ASAP as to not allow them to swallow your baits.

Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: With CFW ull, there were so many areas to hit but ound most and best ish up Rock Creek on jigs and dartheads. So much water that casting into trees was a routine thing, right Ross? Most ish were caught in 15-20' o steeper banks but some o the nicest came in 3-5' making you think they were heading or some beds although I couldn't detect any beds anywhere. Was told by the lake manager that the the water temp had come up 5 degrees since Sunday and we should see some real movement soon and a good blade bite coming on. Water was crystal clear and ree o debree, the dock is perectly situated in the water and it was a real nice day with the best 5 going a good 11-12 pounds with very ew not being keepers.
City: WheatlandTips: Rock Creek throwing typical orange/black 1/4 oz jig with #180 Yami trailer. When I moved up to 3/8 oz, the bite shut o, working it extremely slow and they hammered it. Dartheading an MGM peanut butter/jelly (Bear #123) seemed to be color o choice as we tried many worms and even the aithul salt and pepper w/chartruese tail was not working. Some o the largest came in shallow water back in Rock Creek in the stump ield. Take advantage o this place beore other boat activity begins.
