    Water Temp: unknown

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished with guide Joe Alberdi o AAA Guide Service:707-995-3773. Launched rom Redbud dock and ished primarily the southwest end o the lake. Landed an 8#, 2 7#'ers, a 5# and one that was about 2 1/2 #s. Lost another on my irst hookup that was about 8#s as well. Fished along the shoreline in about 15-25 eet o water with extra large minnows 2-3' below 1/4 oz. splitshots. All but two were hooked between 7-9:30 am.
    City: Petaluma

Tips: I was ishing with 10 pound mono and had my bait continuously hitting the bottom. That seemed to be where the ish were holding and I had many snags on the submerged rocks. We would troll with the baits behind or I would slowly retrieve when stopped. No action at all on any other lures or minnows rom bobbers.

Report: Fished Beryl Bay area - picked up only 2 ish - a duece and a better 5 lbr. Things slowed down a bit, maybe the new moon? maybe it was just cold and rainy and I was slow/irratible...I'm still inding ish around stand ups in 6 - 8 eet o water though.
    City: Yuba City

Tips: Fish the rip bite very slowly. Find a bait that will slowlydescend ater the rip (I put a suspend dot on a Rapala 9/16.)Let that bait sit 15 to 40 seconds beore moving it.) I'm throwing Rapalas in the Clown Pattern.

Report: Fished Lakeport docks all morning. Threw Norman DD22 - Sun Crawish. Caught 4 ish. largest 5.5 lbs that I hooked irst thing. I ished early in the shallow stu, 3 - 5 eet o water. Caught the 5 lb'r just o a transition, 4-5 to 10 eet. Spent the rest o the morning looking or other transitions, beore moving out to 15 eet. There I ran the cranks down under the ish, let it drit up in them, and ripped it down again. Picked up 2 more beore bailing out. I'm thinking next time I'll ish the Clearlake Oaks arm, looking or the type o transitions I caught bigger ish at. Talked to a guy Pre-ishing or a local tourney - he was throwing Brush hogs and picking up ish around Nice.
    City: Yuba City

Tips: It's COLD as heck in the morning. I'd put in as close to where you plan to ish i possible. I put in at 6:45 at Lucern an ran across to Lakeport. Won't do that again without a ace shield!

Report: Launched out o Red Bud and ished the South end most o the day. Picked up ish on jigs, blades, plastics and cranks. No real pattern unortunately, however, the better ish came on a jig and blades. Jig ish caame shallow while the blade ish came o rocks in about 15 eet o water. Used both a Texas rig and C-Rig or our plastics. The C-Rig seemed to produce better ish than did the Texas rig.

Tips: As the water temp drops the bite gets soter and soter. Watch your line or movement. Don't depend on eeling the bite.

    Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished the Western Team Roundup last weekend. The bite was somewhat tough, but manageable. We ound the best concentrations o ish around the deeper docks at the south end o the lake. There needed to be at least 12 eet o water at the outside end. Fish were scattered all around the docks in the mornings, and could be caught on rip baits, small cranks, and plastics. As the sun got higher, the ish would suspend under the docks, in the shade. We would then swim shad colored grubs on dart heads to catch them. Be persistant and patient. sometimes many casts were required
    City: Sonora

Tips: 1/8 ounce ire tiger cranks, #7 shad raps, shad colored plastics swam on dart heads.

Report: Well I heard tell that a Risto-rap in the hot mustard color was working or a couple o guys, I threw a Poe's deep diver in yellow tiger strips with no luck, I also threw the at-ree shad in wht/chrt, with no luck. I caught ish irst thing in the am on a Super Pop-R. Several olks used the craw-dad Bomber, I tried with no luck. I did however lip a ew ish with a Witchs-T Zipper. We also caught our best ish on the Ivano orange/brown worm split shot-ed or tooth picked, look or 20 eet o water!!!! The ish seemed to be hanging in the 15 to 20 oot range . I caught ish under docks by liping a small white spinner and letting it all to the bottom, same with a wht.jig and a shad colored zipper. There were also quit a ew guys that said they got Frog ish to the south.

    Water Temp: mid 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Had a great weekend up at Clear Lake, my dad and I inished irst on Division 1 o the WCB Future Pro Team cicuit. We pre-ished or 2 weekends up at the lake and ound the pattern, last Saturday we ished some deeper water and I caught one that was a little over 6 and a ew more on a brown Duh! jig. On Sunday we didn't ish our good water and we struggled and only caught 2 keepers all day. We came back up this weekend and since it was a Sunday tounament we had Saturday to pre-ish. We stayed in the redbud arm all Saturday to see i we could ind any good water close by the ramp so we ished all day and only caught 4 keepers with nothing over 2, we tried crank baits, spinner baits, jigs, and split-shoting worms and only caught ish split-shoting. We eliminated everything we ished in the Redbud arm except one little spot. The day o the tourney we went straight to the spot where I caught the 6 the week beore and we were the irst one there. My dad caught a dink right away then a ew minutes later I caught a 2 pounder on a jig. About 10 minutes ater I caught the irst one I got a bite and set the hook and I almost all o the boat but I still hold on to the rod and try to real in the ish, but he jumped and spit the jig. Ater that we get a ew more bites but nothing so we decide to leave. We get to our second spot and within ten minutes I have a weird eeling sorta like my jig is swimming away so I set the hook and the ish just kind o sits there so I keep pullin and the ish is pullin, I knew it was a big one so I tell my dad to get the net. The ish wasn't ighting like a normal bass and I think it's a catish, but then it comes up and we see it and both my dad and I went WHOA! it was a big bass, turned out to be 8.54. Ater that my dad and I are both excited and within ten minutes he is setting the hook, his ish was also a big one, 6 pounder. We couldn't get any more ish o that spot just a couple o missed hook sets, so we head to our third spot but some one was right on it so we let it and headed to our only spot in the Redbud arm to see i we can get 2 more keepers. We get there and right away I get a 2+, then my dad sticks a squeker and we are excited and igure we have about 18 pounds but we need to cull that last ish. About 5 minutes ater my dad caught the last one I get one that'll cull his ish and now we igured we had about 20 pounds. We decide to go throw a rog in Cache Creek to see i we can get a toad but nothing so we weighed in 30 minutes early. We ended up with irst place in Division one with 21.55 or 5 ish and big ish o 8.54 Our key was to spend a lot o time pre-ishing and eliminating water. We also threw dirent lures so we weren't ishing or the same ish, 4 o the ish were on the brown 1/4 ounce Duh! jig and one came on a baby bass hooked tail Buddah bait grub. All o our ish ecxept one came out o 20-30 eet o water, so ish deep.

    Water Temp: mid 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Made it down or some serious night ishing on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The wind never really stopped blowing except or a little bit irst thing in the morning. Sunday, we launched rom behind Rattlesnake and the wind was really blowing so we ished some rock piles and ledges in the evening had some bites but no ish in the boat. Ater several hours the wind started to lay down and we moved up the west bank. We lost a couple more ish but around Glenhaven we inally got two, a 6.0 on a zipper worm and an 8.1 on a spinnerbait, also caught an 11+ catish. landed a ew more smaller ish until sunrise. Monday night we ished over around Konocti bay and only had a ew ish until the moon was up. Last hal o the night produced a couple in the 3-4lb range, a 5, and a 8.5 on smaller worms and big Yammamoto grubs. Found a good spinnerbait bite irst thing in the morning around deeper weed edges at Kono Tayee, several 2-3lbers and a 6.1. Tuesday night we returned to areas we had ound ish beore and landed about 15 bass to 5.5 and 6.0 with another 11+ cat.
    City: Arcata

Tips: Deep rocky areas in the wind produced the bigger ish or us. We started with big worms and brass and glass but didn't get a lot o bites until we went to a more suttle presentation. Use a trailer hook on your spinnerbait at night. The 8lber was barely hooked on one.
