Water Temp: 76 Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility) Report: Hey steve...try cranking early in am...
City: san joseTips: The tip of the day and from what Ive heard is that .. the "boater's.. and jet ski's get " and I quote "BOARD' .. come by to see and say .. HOW"S FISHING?.. LOL..We as people need to respect zones... Myself I fish the bank's.. There is no reason for a jet ski and or a ski boat to come within 200 feet of myself and or my boat..I really dont care about your New Mastercraft.. because I had one.. Please dont throw wake's my way..that is rude.. Now aday's there is no respect..Hey.. even between fisherman and skier's.. Ive seen the rudest of fisherman on Coyote.. wont give the cf number's but I know.. give way, and go around.. If someone is there.. believe you me he aint drop shotting..doe's not work.. if any of ya disagree let me know.. cuz I up for suggestion's.. I figured something else out that my dad taught me.. that no one know

Water Temp: 72-78 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Got on the water at 7am- the weather was freezing but the water felt like a spa. Fished grasslines with buzzbaits & senkos but no luck so then I fished the east shore bank (closest to the damn) and landed a 6lber on a black & blue flaked senko.

Caught 5 more on the west bank- all on rocky points drop shotting an aarons magic roboworm.
City: San JoseTips: Fish still seem to be on the rocks- mostly shallow: 2-6 feet.

Bite stopped for me when the fog broke through, anyone have any tips for when it gets hot??

City: san joseTips: coyote.. is good.. untill the "Stupidity" start's.."Wake boarder's , Jet Ski's? dont need to see them.. 10 feet from my boat" I think the law is 100 feet.// Hey a 75 foot ski line straight out from a ski boat..every infraction in the world..believe me.. I know ..Let me know what you think...

Water Temp: 71-73 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Got up to the lake around 5:30 pm and ran straight down to the dam and fished the rocky area with watermelon senkos and chartreuse spinnerbaits with a total of four fish one being five pounds and another six and a half. Had a blast catching those lunkers while watching the sunset.
City: PrunedaleTips: Bring a lot of bug repellent, those mosquits will eat you alive. Also get out before it gets hot because that is the peak time right now for catching fish, early morning and late afternoon. other then that you will be fighting against wakeboarders, sunburn, and lockjaw.

Water Temp: 70-72 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Got on the water at 6:30AM with my brother. Nothing on Sammy's. Same for cranks. Switched up to a texas rigged lizard and pulled up a 7lb 9oz beauty. Three more between the two of us, all about 1.5lb, during the next 2 hours on lizards and brush hogs. Not many boats and no wake boarders. Gotta love weekdays!
City: Morgan HillTips: Nothing magical about today. Just in the right place at the right time. Everything was green and white laminate or watermelon. All fish were caught on the eastern shore. Good luck.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Slow day. Float tubes in south end by creek channel. No bass relating to cover, at least no hungry ones. Took the skunk on Father's day. Bass boats report more action in main lake off points. Day was still fun, as my friend Jay and I got to try out our brand new flippin' sticks!
City: Belmont. CATips: I got skunked, what do you want from me?

Water Temp: ? Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility) Report: Fished from shore from about 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Not a single bite. Used a couple of different type of Rapala crank baits. Tried some top water spinner bait also. Nothing took. Better luck next time hopefully.

Water Temp: WARM Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility) Report: Bassinator- I believe that since the fish are stocked they don't contain mercury and I know the majority of the people take them home to eat.

Bassbite was slower this weekend, tons of pressure all over the lake between the fisherman & the boaters. The southend was the most successful, caught a couple solid 4 pounders out of the trees on junebug senkos, cut-tails & yamamoto creatures. My buddy pulled a 8+ up to the boat but it managed to wiggle off just in time!
City: Los GatosTips: The water was very warm- most fish were caught in shallow shady spots early mornings and late afternoons. Good luck.

City: morgan hillTips: If you disagree with some of the "Observation's" and expeirence's that I have been through.. Please, Post it on this. Hey ! Respect is what it's all about..Right?

Water Temp: 58-61 Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility) Report: Got on the water at 6:30, caught 4 between 1-3 lbs within the first 2 hours on senkos and a jerk bait, thought it was going to be a great day. Then the weather got bad- the winds picked up to the point where I couldn't even feel if my 12 ounce swimbait was still on my line!!
City: Los GatosTips: All fish were caught 2-3 free off the shore, so they are still shallow. The west banks and the damn proved to be the most productive....again.

Water Temp: 65 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: got there early..no bite..This is to every one that fish's this lake.. even if ya get there early .. whether a float tube and my little boat..all electric... there are people that don't have any respect for the area that yu are fishing. Summary... go to tip's..
City: morgan hillTips: Here is the tip of the year..watch your back for jet skier's..and wake boarder's... allthough some fisherman with certain boat's think it's a tournament..Never cut in front of someone who is already getting ready to work some point..If ya do get ready for word's.. Probably laughing cuz your the jackass that did it.. Remember it's fun.not a tournament.. out there..Ive met alot of great people here.. The Ranger's and maintance staff are doing a great job..by the way To All of you who fish these park's, and use them send a message.. without these people what and or where would we go..? Rules are rule's.. Respect the rule's or your gone...

Water Temp: 60-65 or so Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Fished from about 3pm til 7pm in my tube. Hooked and lost one that was 3-4 lbs, landed another from the same spot about 1.5 lbs. Water was noticably cooler than last week when I was there on Sat. No other bites anywhere else. Fished the south end in the trees. Fish all took a wacky rigged senko flipped under the tree branches.
City: SeasideTips: You tell me, although the wacky rigged senko idea was from a guy I talked to a few weeks ago, after I saw him land about a 6 lber on it.

Water Temp: 60-62 Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility) Report: Lots of action on crank & rip baits, mostly small males. I had what I think would have been my personal record on, along the west banks but my awesome 12 lb Flourocarbon P-Line decided to give way (I had just switched from 30 lb braid that morning), but I did get a visual (but that doesnt count). I was using a carolina rigged dirty sanchez colored beaver.
City: Los GatosTips: Be patient- went all day saturday with no action at all, then sunday was the complete opposite.

Water Temp: 59-63 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Great day on the pond. Caught 23 fish up to 5 lbs. Most of the fish were caught on deep diving rip baits off of shallow points. The fish were suspended in ten feet of water just off the edge of just about any flat. There is bait everywhere. Some parts of the lake are stained and others are clear. I caught all of my fish in the stained. I think them letting water out is making the fish suspend. I saw a lot of bare spots in the rocky areas. I hope them dropping water right now did not ruin the spawn. There was a lot of beds and no fish on them.
City: san joseTips: Throw a suspending rip bait out and rip it down to it's maximum depth and then let it sit for a bit. evry fish that I caught hit it while it was stopped. The fish would just grab it and swim off like it was a worm. ( no detectable strike other than line movement.)

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Good day at the Coyote. A three pound bass for me on a 5" Hula Grub, and a 2 pounder for my main man Jay "Chaka Kahn" Hann on jig/sweet beaver trailer. Not too much action, but good for a couple of 4:20 float tubers.
City: Belmont, CATips: Bass shallow, relating to submerged trees, etc., on east shore. Try it out, Jerky.

Water Temp: 58-60 Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility) Report: Got on the water about 7am- beautiful day. The water started warming up pretty quickly, caught a couple in the morning off the west banks using texas rigged lizards and a senko. Took a break and went to the south end for a couple hours, came back to the banks and the bush I pulled the fish out of earlier was fully exposed, when I had left it two hours earlier i could only see maybe 1 branch sticking out. It was amazing how fast they were draining it. STOP DRAINING THE DAMN LAKE!!!
City: Los GatosTips: Swimbaits?? Very soon...
