    Water Temp: 56

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: On the water at 7:00am and conditions were calm, but water was really stained. Fished hard with Jigs and senko's until 11;00 when wind came up hard. Only got one small dink on wacky senko. Lake is hard and slow. Talked to one other guy whe got skunked too. Lake is draining fast and bass have no where to spawn.
    City: San Jo

Tips: Go to calero if you want to catch! Go to Coyote if you want to fish.

    Water Temp: 55-56

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Horrible day- water levels have dropped significantly in the last week, I would venture to say at least 5-8 feet. Got on the water at 8am, caught one minnow less than a pound on a junebug senko. Rest of the boat was skunked.
    City: Los Gatos

Tips: Wait for the water to warm up- hopefully they will start spawning soon, but its going to be rough since the levels are rapidly dropping.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Got on the water at 10am, water warmed up nicely around noon. We had the most action on the banks closest to the damn, drop shotting wacky senkos and white picasso spinnerbaits. Lake levels are very high and the water is still pretty muddy. Local tackle shop told me they will start draining steadily here pretty soon.
    City: Los Gatos

Tips: Bite was very slow until the water warmed up.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, not even a bite. Water level is high and very muddy. The level is back up to what it was during the summer! Tried jig/trailer, Osprey swimbait, and Texas-rigged plastics, all failing to get bitten. There is a lot of debris in the lake. This, combined with the recently submerged vegetation, should bring good fishing in the early spring.

    Water Temp: air temp:48

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: What water clarity?!? it was like fishing in chocolate milk except for being swirled around by 60mph winds and getting soaked by the horizontal rain...i only saw one other guy fishing. i was goin to take my pontoon boat out that i just got but it was too windy so i shore fished by the dam after waiting an hour for the wind to slow with no chance of that happening...third cast of fishing a yamamato 7" dark green worm really really really slow on the bottom caught me a 2lber and that was it for me because the winds picked up and, like in forest gump, it seemed to be raining upwards...
    City: santa clara

Tips: SLOW!!!!!! and with dark colors to show thru the chocolate milk...if you cant do that, dont go until the rain stops! but honestly, im waiting til March to go back so i can try my new swimbait rod/reel combo!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished for an hour after work from the shore, off the far end of the damn same as friday. Caught four bass off a small rainbow spinner, fish went from a pound to just under three pounds.

    Water Temp: cold?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Slow but we got bass. launch ramp is now closed! Thats good news to us float tubers! We started late on the north end. I got 2 around 2,lbs. Chad and Kyle both got nice 3,1/2 pounders. Chad got the most bass on a trout lure from the shore! kyle got his on a jig from the tube. I got mine on senkos and a grub.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Black jigs, white grubs? They both worked! Just go try. Its nice and quiet with no boats. But it is "VERY" muddy on the shore.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Slow morning, fished for about 4 hours. Started off dragging a c-rig on the bottom, which produced a couple dinks. Then tried cranking for awhile, no takers. Went to the jig, caught two more and called it a day. Caught four biggest being 2 pounds. The bite was really soft fish seemed sluggish.
    City: Salinas

Tips: drag a c-rig on the bottom to locate fish, lizards work well in this lake. Fish are deep 20 to 30 feet of water.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Took my lunch-break here and made a couple casts today dead-sticking plastics. Nailed one about 7 pounds. Caught her in about 15 feet of water. No love after that.I think the majority of the fish may be deeper. The lake looks pretty low right now. May have to bust out the float-tube or hit the dam for deeper water.
    City: san jose

Tips: This lake is off and on in my experience. Definitely not a Calero Lake type bite every 4 cast place. However, bring good gear because a bite could mean a world record fish. All presentations work here, but plastics on the bottom is always a good bet. Good luck.

    Water Temp: 66.5

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched late, 9 A.M., started at the north end in the weed beds with pumpkin/red flake senkos ....no takers. Then I tried Jay's tip and threw white senkos ... still no takers. Moved to east side and tried jigs and spinnerbaits. Nothing. The wife and son tried nightcrawlers, but kept getting half of the worm bit off, with no indication of a strike. Other anglers were catching 1 or 2 small fish on tube worms and dropshot. What does it take to catch the big fish in this lake? Or any fish for that matter!!!Off of the lake at 4:00, not wiling to try an evening bite ....
    City: Prunedale

Tips: I wish I could give you one!
