    Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

    Report: It's rough getting hal a day o to ish but someones got to do it. Got on the lake by 1:00pm and waited or my bud "Fish-killer Frank" to show up. We headed to the dam area where the water clarity was a bit better. The wind was blowing 15-20 mph. We ound the ish stacked up on a point where the wind was blowing into. Anchored in 15 t. and cast into deeper water. Then we pulled our bait/lures up the point into the ish. Caught 4 trout and 1 bluegill (? - go igure!) and o the water by 5:00pm. Talked to alot o ishermen that day who were ishing the top 10 eet o water who had lousy ishing. The guys catching ish were ishing on or near the bottom. Also, talked to guy who was lyishing rom his boat. He looked depressed and said something about a St. Patrick's Day lyishing derby.

    Tips: Trout were 20' - 23'deep. Many were suspended. Worms and powerbait were eective. Flyishing was not.

    Report: went or both bass and trout, ended up catching bass. First cast o the morning o the dock just testing out to see i my gear was working good, i caught a 3 pound smallie on a robo worm. drop shoted all day. ended up with a limit. (3 smallies, 2 largemouths) over all a good day try drop shottin and split shottin ish were closer than i thought they would be they were in a bout 15' to 20' but it seems the bigger ones were out a little deeper. guys were catchin them on rip baits and white cranks.

    Tips: Drop shot, split shot. water is muddy on the south end use darker worms there and more natural colors more towards the dam. hope this is some help to you. good luck.

    Report: Me and the Palie hit this lake or the irst time. Wind and blue bird skies met us like a head on truck wreck!!!! One ish all day and he was so cold that I could hear him saying....take me home with you and cook me...I need the relie. Not many ish caught by others...just a sorry day on the water! Good ishing.

    Tips: Bait ish were really deep...so ish deeper and slow.

    Report: First boat on the lake Thur 1/22.Very chilly.We managed to catch a ew bass all smallies nothing huge all about 2lbs but at and liveley.My buddy dave used his ly rod all day had many hook up on various streamers.I was throwing split and drop shots.lake seem to be still low,looks like it could come up about 15 to 20 eet.

    Report: well i went up to del valle,my avorite local lake, and turned down by the new lady @ the shop or a boat rental. couldn't beleive it. she said it was too early or rentals and she hasn't warmed up any o the boats yet.....u don't know what was goingt trough my mind....hear i am driving 80 plus to get there as early as possible and come to ind out there not ready or us anglers...WHAT KIND OD CRAP WAS DAT..owell...so i walked the bank pass a ew dozen trout anglers and so on...got to the irst decent spot i could ind. ater loosing about nine lures i nail a ive pound largemouth....

    Report: Took my kids out around 12pm today and ished 'till 4pm. Tossed Powerbait and nightcrawlers, nothing. Threw some plastics and jigs, but no action. Spent good quality time with the kids beore heading back into work Monday.Water is really muddy. It's not worth heading out until it clears up. Saw six other boats trying to igure out where the ish where; none had any luck either.

    Report: Caught ish 10 Dropshotting 3"-4" worms browns and purple 44'-62'.I you could see them on the meter you could catch them. Caught bigger ish to 4lbs when it would rain and wind would blow.Caught 2 ish on a 4" spider grub brown with purple lake 30'.All ish were close to points.Fish sloooooow!

    Report: Actually Scott the creek you are talking about goes into del valle and the one he is asking about goes out. The creek that comes out o the lake is all on private property and you will get into trouble. Wente gol course and resturant is also right there and it is heavily patroled. I know o a lot o people that have been ran out o that creek.

    Report: SOMEONE ASKED HOW TO GET TO THE CREEK IT IS ILLEGAL TO FISH DOWN THEIR. BUT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ANY WAYS AFTER YOU PAY YOU GO STRAIGHT OVER THE BRIDGE AND THEIR IS THE CREEK.

    Tips: DON'T FISH IN THE CREEK UNLESS WANT TO GET A VERY LARGE FINE.

    Report: Fished rom 0730 to 11:30. Caught 7 nice ish 1-2lbs each. Used dierent baits but the pattern was the same. Worked lats with a big drop o. Fish were on the drop. Caught ish on drop shot, carolina rig, and hula grub in 12t dropping to 25 t o water.

    Tips: Sot plastics on the drop o rom shallow to deep water. Bite was over by 1030 AM.

    Report: The water is VERY LOW!!! Be very careul where you go and make sure you know the depth. I almost got stuck and ruined my outboard in a very shallow part o the lake (in the narrows). My ish inder said it was about 1 oot deep. From then on, I stayed close to the water's edge.On to the ishing. I didn't catch anything. I got one bite going or striper, but didn't get anything else. I saw a ew others catching trout, but no bass were to be ound.

    Tips: Go to the Delta and catch some striper and salmon right now beore they're gone.

    Report: i just want to say irst is .....I KNOW THERE ARE MORE REPORTS OUT THERE BUT NO ONE WANTS TO SHARE..LOL...ok well or my report, here it is...i was out on sunday and it was pretty air. as usual my irst ish was hard to ind but i ound it and a ew more. the size was air 14 inches was the average. all the ish ought hard and looked healthy..BUT all my ish that were caught were not at the normal spots i ished. it was more like all the ish let the summer resorts and went home.,,lol...there i go again trying to be unny, but it's true.

    Tips: i suggest to everyone........i know we all have our avorite lures and rods, but don't be like me. i bought a jig a while back but never used it because it didn't look good enough or me to TRY it instead o using my conidence lures. well this sunday i ran out o conidence and i went into one o my trays to look or SOME CONFIDENCE and there it was..i went home with two bass, lost two, and two monster bluegiles. i ocus alot on the weather and season as well..i beleive it is a major impact in success...tight lines everyone..............

    Report: Got on the water around 730. Tried everything rom topwater spooks, spinners, worms, jigs on all points laydowns and weed areas, i got a couple bites and brother got a nice 5 pounder o a small point in about 6 t next to a laydown. Everyone else reported same slow day. With the 10 mph speed limit on the whole lake, don't think i'll be going back soon.

    Report: went ishing with my lil bro and got on the water around 6:45am. went around the lake hitting rocks, rocky points, downed trees in the south end. just got one bite on a senko.didn't get any other action or bass, so around noon i anchored my boat on the shallows. caught about 20 cats rom 1-2.5lbs.got bored o all those cats (too bad they weren't bass) and went home 1.5hrs later...

    Tips: I don't know about bass. this was the irst time i ever went on this lake with a boat to catch bass. any suggestions?or cats, go to the narrows and soak some anchovies, mackerel, or liver. they are easy to catch i you ind them.

    Report: Four o us let the boat dock at 7:00 am to troll or some stripers, withen 2 minuntes my riend Urbano caught a monsterous 20 pound striper .... was exciting to see but the rest o the day we got skunked. .....i there are any tips on ishing del valle would be appreciated.

    Tips: Urbano caught the striper on a broken back rebel that looked like a trout, and he was out 60 to 75 eet out.

    Report: Fished rom 6am to about noon. Caught 8 bass(6lm 2sm),1 cat(my irst), and a monster bluegill.4 o the bass came on a yamamoto spider grub on a 3/16 oz ootball head. The others came on a dropshot with a berkley bungee worm in green pumpkin.(including the cat and bluegill)All ish were caught rom the 15 to 25 t depths. Good day.

    Report: Took my buddy Will out or a ew hours o relaxing Bass ishing. Got there beore 6:00 am, third in line. Started with topwater over the weedbeds in the narrows. We connected or three ish on the Rico, all keepers, largest pushed 5 pounds. Missed two other blow ups. Will also scored a ew smaller ish, including a nice Bluegill on an in line spinner. Rest o the morning was a mixed bag. One keeper smallmouth on a Watermelon Senko and a 2lb black on a dart headed brown worm in Swallow Bay. The wind picked up and we moved to the south end. Picked up another Senko ish and a couple more 2 pounders Carolina rigging a 6" Zoom pumpkin lizard. O the water at noon.

    Tips: Get there early. Poppers over the weed beds. I'm talking about the weeds that are in 6-7 eet o water, in ront o the tules. Ater the topwater dies go either 15-20 eet down or drag a worm through the weeds beds in the south end.
