    Water Temp: 65

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished rom 7 to 12 AM. Tons o boats on the water. Started with buzzers and Pop R along the weed line. Could not convince the ish that it was a perect top water day and spent too long trying. Finally switched to sot plastics and picked up 12 bass and one Catish. The bass were suspended in about 17-22 t o water. They would only hit the bait on the all. Used 1/8 oz dart head 4" worms or a slow all and the ish liked it. Swithced to drop shot 4" and they liked that also. Finally swithced to hula grub and a 5lbs catish liked that. I knew with the wide head shake that I either had a huge bass or a dumb cat. Pretty good day considering the huge ishing pressure and clear skies and no wind.
    City: Foster City

Tips: 4" worms dart head and drop shot were the only thing that worked today. Top water - no, Senkos - no, working the bottom - no go. Slow alling bait worked (but not Senko or some reason)

Report: Headed out on my pontoon at Del Valle on Sunday 4/20. Thought it would be a tought bite since a small cold ront was coming. Instead, it turns out to be an awsome day. Must o hooked up about 20+ ish. All quality in the 2lb class. Nailed three 4+ within the same area. Heard ish splashing, thought it might be carps, but when I saw shad busting up on top o the water. I igured two things, either it was stripers or bass. Threw everything at irst cranks and spinners nothing. Then I threw a drop shot rig in about 5 eet o water. Bam 2lb smallie, threw it back in the same spot. Bam, a largemouth and then another and another. Stop countin ater awhile. Awsome day on the water well worth the trip. Good luck to all and please catch and release.
    City: san mateo

Tips: Watch or signs o activity. I know this sounds like lyishing, but try to match the bait. I did used jigs and lip into the tule area. Only hooked up one, but as soon as I backed o rom it and drop shot at points and brush piles I was hooking up.

Report: This lake has good winter ishing, but gets a ton o pressure. Even during mid-week, boats were located in many o the good spots. We got six ish, 3 smallies and 3 largemouth. All o the ish were deep and o good quality (2lbs+). Pleased or an aternoon o ishing. Typical deep water techniques worked. Several guys ishing shallow looked like they were keeping small bass.
