Report: Well my buddy and I went out on Saturday around 3pm until 8:30pm and had some really good fishing. My buddy caught an +8 lb (couldn't weigh it because the batteries were dead on the scale) and i caught a 4 lb and a 5 lb. Together we caught around 26 fish between 1 pound to 3 pounds, besides the bigger fish. The top water bite picked up at dusk and that is when we started catching the smaller fish. We fished the 5 mph zone earlier in the afternoon and caught the bigger fish there then went to the dam area. Didn't catch anything until we saw fish breaking the surface and the hunt was on. We used top water, Team Diawa's, jigs, Senko's and grubs. The bigger fish hit the jigs. Great day on the water!

Tips: Ready Mark's tips they work.

Report: Caught and released 5 bass between 10:30am and noon. Don't have a scale: four of the fish were 16-17 inches; largest was 23 inches. Caught these in 5mph area on 3/8 oz. Lefty's brown/purple jigs with Yamamoto 208 single-tail trailer in 15-20 feet. From 6am to 10:30, not one strike. I was using double-tail trailers all that time. Of course, the wind came up around 10:30, too...or it might just be a solunar thing.

Tips: It can be a long time between bites, but one good fish makes your day...

Report: Fished from 6am to noon in 5mph zone. Caught 3 nice bass (I don't have a scale---21 inches, 19 and 18 inches)between 6am and 7am. After that, only one dink until noon. For me ( I fished Tuesday too) the fishing has been streaky and hard to pattern, many casts between fish, but good fish available. Caught these in 20-25 feet of water around brush.Used 3/8 brown/purple jig with different Yamamoto grub trailers.Water is falling and clearing...I almost put it in the Clear category, but, after all, this is Eastman...
    City: Clovis

Tips: Be ready to work for a few quality fish.Either fish at night or take lots of water and Gatorade, because the heat's pretty tough after 9am.

Report: A lot of weird moss in the lake! Looks like fine hair and makes fishing tough. My buddy and I fished from 5:30am to around 2:30 pm with only 10 bass in the boat. A couple nice ones 3-4 lbs, but the rest were dinks. The water condition made fishing difficult. Our rods and reels had the moss all over them making casting hard. The moss got in my buddies boat motor and clogged it up. We left earlier than we wanted because we didn't want to overheat the motor. We heard that this moss comes every year! That stinks.
    City: Exeter

Tips: We used Lizards to catch the dinks and worms to catch the larger fish. They seem to like fluorescent yellow tails.
