Report: Fished Folsom Lake last Saturday and had six fish for 9.5 pounds. Nothing spectacular but very few fishermen were catching anything. Not a bad bag for the conditions and water level. Had to stay with the same pattern for six hours to squeak out six fish.
City: RosevilleTips: Carolina Rig with a half ounce barrel weight with an eight pound leader 4 feet long. I fished a berkeley gulp worm in green pumpkin and fished a watermelon red brush hog in 20-30' of water. The key to getting the active fish was to fish windy banks with bass in the bait balls. If you found fish without bait around they would not go. The key was to keep coming back through the bait and bass as they moved and fish very thoroughly. Do not spend your time running around. When you find the bait and bass stay there and keep milking it.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Alright, the bass are not in feeding mode. Spent 3 hours on the water this morning and got one lousy shaker on a green/silver worm drop shotting. We tried chatters, swimbaits, spinners, spoons, lipless cranks and jigs. Anyone been able to catch a decent amount of fish in this last week? I think we are getting killed by the barometric pressure. It's finaly on the downtick as I write this so hopefully the fall bass'n will pick up this week....not sure if I'll make it out though.
City: RocklinTips: Don't eat yellow snow.

Water Temp: 63
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend and it got progressivly worse day by day. The barometric pressure was on a big climb from the storm front moving in (it's here as I type). Friday put a few fish on the boat dropshotting the main body (only fished 1.5 hrs). Saturday yeilded a half dozen between 1-3 lbs. Mainly caught on the drop shot and a nice one on a chatterbait thrown near the rocky shore. Hopefully this pressure will drop and the fall bass'n will pick up.
City: RocklinTips: Notice how I didn't report the fish count for Sunday? Only positive thing that comes to mind is at least the boat still floats. At least I have the juevos to post when its bad fishin instead of just bragging when it's good.

Report: Took the daughter out fishing so wasn't too serious today. Stuck with drop shotting, she does pretty well with that, she is only 5. We went all the way up the north fork and managed to catch 7 fish in about 4 hours. The biggest being 3 pounds. It turned out to be a beautiful day despite the rain in the morning.
City: RosevileTips: No tips from me!! I only have confidence in a few areas and trying to broden my knowledge, just need to find some people to fish with during the week...

Report: Real fishermen dont put doun other fishermen. I happen to know Jim scarlet and why should he lie. Jim fishes alone and thats his way of enjoying his retirement I have fished with him before and the man has patience more then most guys I know including me, and hes put me on big fish. but to call him a lier is just plain stupid, why should he take pics to prove to anyone. plus how many on here has used his reports and scored well, if you didnt then oh well thats folsom love it or hate it. Or better yet tell that to Kent Brown or a few others that score well on that pond . There are a lot of big fish in Folsom but there not stupid.
City: FolsomTips: Learn how to fish Folsom, before you call others liers and such

Water Temp: 67.5
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Got on the water around 1pm and headed for the off shore dyke 8 area. Metered a ton of bait and fish in the 20-40ft range but no takers. We then went to the dam and picked up 4 shakers (less than 1 pound) on the left side of the dam in 20 feet of water around 3pm. Around 4:30 we proceeded to the area between Beals Pt and GB launch and began metering some fish (30-45 feet). Picked up 3 nicer sized fish up to 3 lbs. My buddy, Matt (aka Mateo), hooked a Rainbow Trout on the dropshot on it's way down!(pumpkin worm) We put the fish (14-16 inches)in the live well thinking we may eat it but ended up releasing it to fight another day. All in all, a decent day. Weather was great and no wind.
City: RocklinTips: All fish were caught on the drop shot. We tried spinners, crawdads and lipless cranks but the fish (come to find out) were deeper and finicky.

Water Temp: 66
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out from 10-4 up the north fork. Caught 11 fish, only two of them between 2-3 pounds. Dropshotting with margarita mutilator seemed to produce the most fish.
City: RosevilleTips: This is my first time posting on here. I just got a boat and back into fishing. I started tuning into this sight and about gave up on it because of all the back and forth between a few people. What's the deal. Can't you guys just e-mail each other if you have a problem instead of involving everyone? Thanks

Report: Cold mornings by the sun came out moving the bass back up in 20 ft of water. Quency and I found some small bass @ Beal's Point around the rocks using drop shot and split shot. Went out to the main point in 30-50 ft by the wind sock using a JK Jig in watermelon red flake and a Green pumkin. No reaction bite.

Report: Launched at GB around 8am and headed to the main body. We found a drop shot pattern that worked fairly well while metering the bait. Picked up 11 fish. Most were 1-2 range and had two fish in the 2-3 range. Best five 11 lbs.
City: RocklinTips: Pumpkin colored berkely worms and senkos were on.

Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from 3:00 to 6:30 pm first hour and a half no bites throwing top water and jigs. Finally stuck a two pounder on the jig across from the G B launch. Then looked for rockpiles around the peninsula, if you find the piles you will find the fish.I ended up with seven fish, the largest being the first two pounder. Probably 8.5 lbs for best five. All fish on jigs, 4'' hula grubs.
City: SactoTips: With 8.5 lbs I'm not qualified to give advice.
P.S. I'm going to miss Jimbo, he reminded me of my Grand Pappy ( spent 5 years in prison for perjury ) -

Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished the FBT TOC on Folsom and the Delta this past weekend. Came in 3rd overall. On Folsom, we were one of a few teams to weigh in a limit. Most did not weigh a limit. Our fish came between 25 and 35 feet on a 1-ton jig (1 ounce football head jig) with a 4" twin tail Yamamoto Hulagrub in Green Pumpkin. We managed to catch 8 keepers on this rig. Tried dropshot, spoons, ripbaits and spooks without success although this is my favorite time of year for spooning at Folsom. Our limit was not very big because we never stuck a kicker fish but it kept us in the TOC chase.
City: Fair OaksTips: Fished the 1-ton off main lake points close to the main channel coming out of the south fork. In view of the 5mph BS imposed by government, we felt it was important to keep a line wet so we didn't run far from Browns. Had the limit by 9 AM.

Report: For those of you who do not believe my claim that Jim Scarlet is a LIAR, here's a quote from a report right here, which I have left for all to see by the way, that proves this:
"I can't send to you because I( have been bl0ocked by Cooche." Ya see, I banned him, he said so himself!
City: OakleyTips: Jim Scarlett, you are a liar! Have a good life!
