Report: Had an O.K. time out at Folsom. The bite seemed tough. There was a low pressure system moving through and gusty winds, which made it tough to control the boat. I caught three. One on peanut/butter and jelly colored plastic worm. One on a watermelon colored tube and one on a purple zipper worm.
    City: Sacramento

Tips: I have three suggestions, see above colors....

Report: Fished a very small team tournament today with my ather, a nice sentiment seeing as it was athers day. The tournament was put on by O'Shea productions and a good time was had by all. Thanks Shaun or putting on a good tourney! Me and dad were lucky enough to win this one, with a ive ish limit o 18.10 lbs.. This was the best stringer I've ever taken out o Folsom. We caught all o our ish in the North ork suspended in trees. We were shaking BLUTO worms in a all craw pattern, with most o the ish taking it on the sink, shaking the worm as it ell. Landed seven ish over 2 1/2 lbs. with the largest being 4.55 and the primary bite between 6:30 and 7:30 A.M. Hope this helps somebody!
    City: Yuba City

Tips: Try shaking worms slowly and thoroughly in the trees or the bigger ish. Most o the bites seem to be on the all rom 3t. to 8t. o water. Had no luck with topwater.

Report: Well ather and i went out o Granite Bay at 5:20 with no one in the parking lot. We went up the North Fork and into the irst big cove. First cast with a White/Black broken back Rapala cought a 2#'er. Nothing or 30 minutes untill we went urther into the Fork to an area with a point with an island next to it. We ished the point with pumpkin-seed/chartruse tail worm. Cought 5 nice keepers with the biggest going about 4#s. Moved to the point and cought a dink in the trees. Over all a good day on the lake. Out by 8:00.
    City: Sacramento

Tips: Use the pumpkin-seed/chartruse worm SLOWLY. Fish just suck it up and all you ell is a tap and you see your line move to the side. Top-water would probably work beore sun comes out.

Report: This message is or Shaun Laytem. I just wanted to congrat you on your 4th place inish at Folsom. I was in that tournament, irst or me and my partner. I just thought it was pretty cool to see you place ahead o all those "bass" boats with your little "aluminum" boat. It just shows that you don't need a $20,000 boat to catch ish. Don't get me wrong, I think bass boats are great. You impressed me and my parner with your limit. It was a pretty tough day or us. I think we jumped around too much. Anyways, congrats.PS.. Where did you buy your 15 horse motor and how much was it?Splunkah Man
