Report: Fished the South Fork in the AM with a buddy and we hooked-up a dozen bass. Most were spotted a ew small mouth. All were in the 12 to 15 inch range with the biggest at 18 inches and 3.5 pounds. The big one was caught on a Motor Oil with red lake Jig. All others were caught on 4 inch plastic worms. Almost any color seemed to work. I was ishing a slow drag and letting the ish hit the worm a couple o times and when I elt the big tug, set the hook!
City: FolsomTips: I always use a split shot rig with a 2/0 or 3/0 o shank hook. Fish 4 inch plastic worms (start with Oxblood)as slow as you can and let them bounce o the bottom. When you eel the tug stop and wait or the wait or the seccond tug, then set the hook! Good luck, have un and be sure to "Catch-and Release"!!!

Stayed in the South Fork all day and threw blades and Zoom Flukes. Better quality came on blades (including Dad's 6+), but probably had twice as many bites on the Fluke. The small males and some small emales have moved up. All about 1.5lb - 2.5lb. They are repositionioning themselves daily on the points as the chase baitish and crawdads. (they were on the sides o the points today) Biggest ish came on jigs, numbers came on plastics. The wind is helping the bite.
