Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished T-shoot on Sunday with great results. Cranked ALL dayor 4 ish that weighed 9.4 lbs. Big ish weighed 3.3 lbs.Cranked Poes Super Cedar 300's around rock that had buckbrush and trees in the area. All the ish were in 10-15 eeto water and rom some o the other anglers stories, a goodreaction bite was ON.
City: RosevilleTips: A reel with the right gear ratio is the key to successulcrankin'. My reel is a 1976 Abu Garcia 5500 spooled with 14lb. test Big Game line. With a 4.6-to-1 gear ratio, we wereable to crank at a slower speed. Also used a MODIFIED PoesSuper Cedar 300. I modiy my own baits by drilling a holejust in ront o the ront hook hanger a epoxying a 3/16 oz.mojo weight in the hole. This slows the baits wobble and allows the bait to suspend when stopped. All these tips puttogether allowed us to be successul on an early winter day.

Report: In light o the act I was preishing or a T-shoot, I'llgive as much ino as I can. Picked up on a pretty goodcrankbait bite beore the sun hit the water. I believe thislunar cycle has alot to do with the increased BIG ish move-ments. Caught three ish totalling about 7.5-8.0 lbs. in 10minutes, then let not wanting to ruin a good thing.
City: RosevilleTips: Shad replicas will work really good now. Slow your retrieveater about the irst 8-10 cranks o the reel, even pausingoccasionally.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Got on the water @ 7 o'clock. Threw topwater irst, but didn't give it much time. Switched to crankin' and stuck a 3.5 lb spot right away. That was all or the cranks aside rom a 14 " trout. Switched to split shottin' and my Father-in-law pulled a 2.5 lb. spot out o his hat on the irst cast! It was 8 o'clock and we had two ish or 6 lb already! Well, it was a good start or a GREAT day on the water. We stayed on the main body and ocused on two or three dierent spots, rotating them troughout the day. The ish are deinitely eeding, but only at certain times o the day. Luckily, we were able to hit each o our spots at "dinner time" on one visit or another. We ended up catching over 25 ish and the weather couldn't have been better! We caught our ish 25-35 eet deep on 3 inch leeches. Color didn't seem to matter as we caght them on purple ghost, delta red, morning dawn, and green weenie. The bite was very subtle, just pressure. Best ive went 10.5 lb, best seven almost 14 lb. A very un day!!! All ish were spots and smallmouth, no largemouths to report today.
City: sacramentoTips: Set on anything ----- you probably won't eel a bite the majority o the time, just that old rubber band pressure. Work very slowly and don't be araid to let your bait sit dead still or long periods o time. About hal o our ish came while deadsticking. The ish seem to be holding and staying in certain areas, so i you mark ish and can't get them to bite, try back in a while ------they'll turn on sooner or later.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished the Thanks er giving shoot. Found ish up to 10t then they pulled out 35t this seems to be holding steady. I have been ishing Folsom quite alot and this has been the ticket. Early morning try the reaction bite give it about 2hrs. Then look or the ish to pull out to the deeper areas and gather together. Dont be surprised to ind top water bite still going on its hit or miss on top. Split shot witches tea or salt and pepper seems to be the color now ? haven't tried too many other colors than those this time.
City: Granite BayTips: Look or deep structure and throw up camp when you ind the ish its a matter o time till they bite

Report: TOUGH DAY FOR MOST AT THE SHAMBRE INVITATIONAL ON SUNDAY. WINNING WEIGHT OF 8.0 LBS. CAUGHT BY PAUL ROBINSON & SCOTT WILLIAMSON WERE CAUGHT MOSTLY BY WORMING THE NORTH FORK IN THEIR VARIOUS HOT SPOTS. BIG FISH CAUGHT BY JACK GODSEY ALSO CAME ON A WORM. MY DAY WAS FRUSTRATING AS THE FISH WE HAD GOING ON THURSDAY JUST SEEM TO DISAPPEAR. MANAGED TWO SMALL SPOTS, ONE ON A SPINNERBAIT AND THE OTHER ON A CRANKBAIT. LAKE HAS TURNED OVER SO MOST FISH ARE RELATING TO THE BOTTOM DWELLERS LIKE THE POND SMELT AND CRAWS. LOOK FOR A GOOD WINTER PATTERN FOR FOLSOM IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS OR SO.
City: ROSEVILLETips: WORMS IN MORNING DAWN & WITCHES T ARE GOOD, BUT START LOOKING FOR THOSE SLOWW ROLLED SPINNERBAIT FISH COMING ON SOON.
