Report: In at Bailey Cove at 4:30PM. Fished the west side o the lower McCloud to Ycotti or a total o 21. The largest, a 3.1 spot came on a MGM "Jerry's Worm". MGM "Fall Craw" worked very well also. At one point I made ive casts and hooked 5 ish. Threw a buzzbait a little just beore dark, had a ew blowups but no hookups. Texas rigged worms and jigs seemed to do the trick. There are a lot o small ish right on the bank in the shade. It was a beautiul evening on the lake, we quit at 9:00PM and took our time coming in because o the amount o small and large debris in the water. Oh, did I mention the Blonde in the back only managed seven. Jerry, at least I know what lake I'm ishing.

Report: On Sac arm rom 1730-2030. Using spinnerbait, deep wee-r, shadrap. Most on spinnerbait, but I use it the most by ar. Found the ish ollowing but not hitting or hitting short. Added the tail o a paddle tail 4" worm, so it extended about an inch beyond the skirt on the blade. Worked great, no more ollowers or short strikes. Got 11 in the boat, best 2 lbs. Spots and smallies. My avorite blade was torn apart by a nice smallie. Guess it had been bent back into shape too many times. Alot o un.
City: ReddingTips: Watch the debris.

Met up with Gene and Ginger and Gene was getting his butt kicked by the Blonde, at least I out did my Blonde, 19 to 9.The weather was perect, we actually got some sun on our white bodies. Saw a wake boarder in the aternoon, they are starting earlier this year. The lake is Full, what a beautiul sight. A ew o the spots we caught were spawned out, but there are a bunch still to spawn. Water Temp: 54 to 58
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: We inally got a decent day to go out. In at Jones Valley at 7:30am. Ran up the Pit and ished Clickapudi, Rend Island, Murphy Cyn. and Blue Cyn. Ended up with 25 to 1.75lb. The Blonde in the back on caught 6 o them. Started out throwing a 6" MGM M-28, oxblood rigged Texas style then switched to a 1/4 oz. ootball head jig with a hula skirt, twin tail grub in a smoke with red and blue lakes. Most ish came in 5 to 15 eet o water. Had the best luck pitching to the base o trees in the water and hitting secondary points. The lake has dropped a little, but there is lots o trees overhanging the bank which makes pitching a jig or worm a lot o un.
City: CottonwoodTips: Drop your jig or worm at the base o a tree and get ready they usually take it on the way down. Pick up your bait to eel a little extra weight, SET THE HOOK! GREAT FUN!
