Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished up in Dry Creek or the irst time this year with my nephew or his ninth B-day. Drop-shotted 6-inch senko in my little honey hole about 30-35 eet down, my nephew and I had hook ups beore the wieght even hit bottom. Landed 7 ish in about 4 hours. A big log (which I knew was there) probably took away 10 ish but it was still un. Caught all ish in the middle o a hot aternoon. Kinda' strange. Fish are real deep.
    City: Santa Rosa

Tips: I heading to the lake on 4th o July be careul o the once a year boaters and stay away rom the ski boat circus at the ramp in the middle o the aternoon!!!!!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out Friday night but only managed 3 ish in the boat. My buddy Kyle landed one or about 6 lbs. on a crank bait in Cherry Creek. For the guy, Je, who is a jealous isherman and dares call us anglers liars should get his ino. straight so he doesn't look or sound like a ool. For your ino there was a night tournamemet a couple o weeks ago or the Redwood Bass Club and the big ish WEIGHED in at just over 9lbs. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!
    City: Santa Rosa

Tips: Don't let people's nonsense (Je) keep you rom posting bis ish out o Sonoma becuase there are some toads in there

    Water Temp: very warm

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished last thurs. Got a ew crankin. Not a whole lot up shallow. Fished the warm springs side. Mysel and uncle easily put over 40 ish in the boat. A lot o small ones and some good ones to go with them. Biggest about 4lbs. we used what I call the side shot instead o the dop shot. Had two hooks each on our lines with berkeley 4" inesse worms. Got up against the bank and cast way out and dragged our baits back up the hill. Inside out ishing. Every ish came o trees. Some even on the all. Gotta be casting around trees. Between 30 and 40 eet down seemed to be the magic number. Got them in coves and outside coves. I you want action this is a good bet. Used watermelonseed color. I you want big ones go to clear lake or wait til nighttime or get there very early.
    City: Petaluma

Tips: Just use dropshot set up. They hit top and bottom hook. You can drag it like you would a carolina or texas rig. They are hammering these little baits. Its un ishing. You gotta inesse them. Water very warm. Just my two cents. You wanna stay busy with that reakin sun beating down on you. Don't orget the straw hat, sun screen, and most importantly lots o water. Couldn't eat with the heat. Just drank lots o water.

    Water Temp: 70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Thought I might throw in my two cents worth since nobody has posted in a while. Went up there around 9pm and that !@#$%^&*() wind was blowing like a mother. Went straight to the dam and started rippin babybass 78 pointer. Hooked up right away, but was really battling the wind. I knew I wasn't going to last very long there. Caught three more smallies and the last one was the best. Nice 3or4lber. The power o these ish is unreal. All ish were keepers. Went back to the marina area to try and get out o the wind. Threw a buzzbait or a while and hooked another smallie. This one smacked it on the move and missed. So I deadsticked it right away and boom, ish on. Changed over to junebug senko and caught a ew more ish. Then started slowrolling black and red blade with a black/red baby brush hog trailer and that was my ticket to the big one. 7or 8lber largemouth that went absolutely balistic. Fought like a son o a gun. Just this one ish made the trip worthwhile. As usual there was nobody around to show it to. I was looking or people to come out o the dark to show that I'm not making all this up. Anyway, got a couple more with the blade and went back to the senko. Throw it in the water and notice somebody is up on the bank moving around and or some reason I wasn't too comortable because I couldn't see who or what was going on. Remember the senko is still in the water and I've orgotten about it because I started thinking about Friday the 13th(the movie). Funny how the mind works. I'm watching his every move and then a big splash near the boat. I nearly !@@#$%$ my pants. The guy had thrown a top water bait right near the boat and I thought to mysel you!@@@#$$%%^%^^^$#. The guy was trying to give me a reakn heart attack. Wrong person to be toying around with i that was his intention. Anyway I get back to ishing and start reeling in the slack and you know that eeling you get when you think somethings up at the end o your line, well I was right. I set the hook on another balistic ish. A good 5or6lber. Take that Mr. bank isherman. Wind starts to die down a little at around midnight and I made another run or the you guessed it, the dam. It was like daylight out there. Threw a speed trap and caught a couple o smallies and then went to the senko again and set up on another big balistic smallie. The power is unreal and you're sitting there laughing to yoursel, i only somebody could see this. Wind started to blow good again and I didn't want to become part o the dam, so it was adios amigos. 1am now and time to get the heck out o dodge. I'll be honest, I started to get the 24 hour Taco Bell ever and knew exactly where to go or two sot tacos and a docter pepper. Har Har. Rohnert Park in case anybody is wondering. I this report is too long or you, I am sorry. But I think giving people the whole picture is what makes ishing so much un. The whole experience is what counts. Guess where I'm going tonight?
    City: Petaluma

Tips: First and oremost is saety. Wear liejacket and make sure everything is operating propperly beore heading out. At night time all your moves in the boat need to be slow and deliberate. Always thinking. I it was me and I could get up in the back and ish Cherry or Yorty, I would go with the slowrolling the blade and the senko. And throw in the occasional topwater(spook and buzzbait). Just my 02cents worth. With the wind blowin I stay close to the launch.

    Water Temp: 66-73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Our club tournament was held here Sat. May 19. LImits could be had rippin, spli-shotting, and some on top water. The best technique was workin your avorite plastic in the trees. Jigs and 6 inch Roboworms worked well hopped or shaken. There are several nice bass cruising around in the back o coves; I had two hang out under my boat and ollowing me around like a dolphins. These ish are near impossible to get to bite. The water is very clear and the bottom can be seen in 20 eet. In the aternoon when the skiers churn up the lake, or the wind blows, the mud lines hold aggressive keepers that can be cranked but ew o quality size.
    City: Belmont

Tips: Get in very early or some topwater and out early to avoid the ski boat circus at the ramp.

They are movin out to the main arms, rom their small coves. Ran on to a ew 2 pound bulls, with a 3 or 4 lbr neighbor who i couldn't hook up. Water is really low. I been going out there conteniously or the last 2 months with the exception o may 18th weekend i was in clear lake, but the lake has allen a good 5 eet in height.
    City: RP

Tips: grubs worked well or panish. Nite crawlers produced nice bass, but a small crappie spinner rig brought in a ew small 8" bass.

Report: Sonoma is wide open right now. Go to the shallows and the ends o creek arms. Throw Senkos. Look or them. They are all over the place and catchable. Even been dropshotting or skittish shallow ish to bring the baits right to their eye level, and it works.

    Water Temp: 57-61

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished in the Redwood Empire Bass Club tourney on Saturday. We had 38 anglers on 20 boats. 1st place or 5 ish was Jared Adams with 16 lbs. Big ish on the day weighed over 7lbs landed by Dan Brothers and there were several ish in the 4-5lb range. The warm weather has really turned on the bite and the ish are starting to move onto beds. As they say, it's "wide open". Plastics are still the key bait. I landed 15 ish (8 over 13") to 2.5 lbs mostly on Senkos. Water temp should be in the mid-60's by the end o the week.
    City: Rohnert Park

Tips: The Senko bite is turning on. Fish around lay downs near spawning areas. Look or bed ish.
