Water Temp: unkn
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished for a few hours. The water is still to dirty from all the rain. I think I might of got a bite, but with all the weeds and branches in the water who knows what was down there. I can't wait for the water to clear up, but who knows when that will be. We fished crank baites, jigs, and what ever else we could use. But NOTHING!!!
City: Santa RosaTips: Need some if anyone has any to offer.

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got a 5.3-pounder tonight at 6:40 pm. My biggest fish this year!! Caught from the shore, by where people launch the paddle boats. I only fished for about 30 minutes. Caught on a senko, green with black tail. Dead sticked it, no action and the bass just picked it up. This was my first fish on my new bait casting set up. Quantum Accurist, with flipping switch and 7'2" laminglass rod.

Report: Caught 5 fish. Two were alright, about 2-pounds. Got one at the north island on a Kreature green pumpkin red flake. Got the other on a Senko green pumpkin red flake, rigged wacky. Got the rest on a Zoom super fluke, silver smoke.
It's been 10 years since I fished this lake and I grew up with it, my home lake as a kid. Can't wait to come back and try again.
City: Hidden Valley LakeTips: Be patient.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I dont know I've fished spring lake a few times its always sucked either days without a tick or five 1 1/2 pounders never no mommas. Always there early same tactics as other lakes like Sonoma and Clear lakes that have produced. Too much Catfish pressure and live bait makes this one no good. I dont know about Castaic swim baits that catch big ones but I've read all about it.
City: SebastopolTips: go early if you have any chance.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Hi guys, I'm an avid bass fisherman from Texas who'll be living in Santa Rosa this summer. I have heard of the legend of spring lake and would like to explore California bassing. I haven't fished once in the year I've been going to school in Cali and it's killing me! It seems that the trend is flipping the reeds or twitching Senkos and slow rollin SBs over the grass.
i'm thinking of buying a kayak or tube for the lake, and if anyone can give me any advice or is willing to take me on as a fishing partner, I'd be much obliged.
City: Santa RosaTips: I'm a pretty experienced bass fisherman, but I also fly fish. Any opportunities for a fly rodder in the area (non-species specific for now)?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: launched the boat around 7 with my buddy for some moing fishing. Caught the first one around 3 pounds on a white spinner and the bite was on. after the fist fish caught about three more 1-1.5 lbs each. went to the oposite side of the lake and started throwing spinners. at about 10 the big mama hit the spinner. When it jumped i knew it was the biggest bass I'v ever seen or caught. I cant believe we actually landed a fish that big. my guess was about 10-11 pounds and i could hardly hold it up with one hand. we forgot the camra but i at least have one witness. after we released it we caught about 8 more bass that were not that big. also a dink on the senko
City: PetalumaTips: tie a few spinners on for morning fishing and keep tossin them out with a slow retreive. You will do fine if you keep throwing your comfortable baits constantaly. Stick to two pattrns at the most

Then i started cranking the deeper weeds to get nothing. Crank some more coming back to the launch are, and picked up one around 11", and that was it.

Water Temp: warm
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: went out and fought the wind on my pontoon boat , I tried almost everything in my arsenal and the only thing that seemed to work were watermelon and red fleck senkos tossed deep into the bushes where the dinks were on the attack , I hooked six and landed three hogs (none of them over a pound) all the big fish were way deep in the bushes in about a foot of water and did not want to have anything to do with me, so I left
City: santa rosa , caTips: keep at it , they are in there and they will bite when you least expect it
