Report: Took the kids out or a try at this lake 4 boats 11 so called isherman, one Sonoma veteran. Water was extreamly muddy. We tried blade, crank, dropshot, inesse, big worms, small ones, deep, shallow, points, drop os, weeds, rocks, walls, even made it up to the end o the inles where 42 degree water was actually clear. End result NOT ONE BASS in the boat. One steelhead on a crankbait or about 10 seconds and one big jump out o the water. Here is the highlight. While 3 o us are going up to get the trucks Little Ricky the 6 year old lips a spinner bait o the dock. Minutes him and the other 3 boys land a 3.3 lb steelhead we could see it rom the top o the bridge.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I have been tournament ishing or 12 years now and have been reading NCBF reports or months, so I igure it is time or me to give one. On riday I ished the squaw arm and did very well. I didn't get on the water tell 9 am, started pitching an oxblood Texas rigged shark, only catching several small ish I changed to a straight 6" oxblood worm on a darterhead and started catching good ish. I caught several in the two pound range and one pushing 3 pounds. It was a good day. They were rom 5 to 50 eet deep,Go igure. Jerry and Scott i you try this presentation you might do better. Good luck
      City: Redding

Tips: Darterheading a worm give a dierent presentation and or some reason it triggers them to bit. I consistantly catch bigger ish that way.

      Water Temp: 50-51

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Cold sums it up. Took the wie out and waited or it to warm some, so got in a Packers at 1000. Ran to Bass Cove and threw the drop shot with the 157. Had the wie throw a texas rigged 109. Probably ished over 1/2 mile o shoreline with only one bite. Ran to Allie Cove and it was an "ice cream headache" run......real cold. Finally ound some ish in about 40' on the side o tapering point. Finished up in Packers waiting or a club tourney to get out o the water and picked up 2 more on the drop shot, again in about 40'. These came o a broken chunk rock bank. Biggest went a little under 2.
      City: Redding

Tips: I started ishing too shallow I think. Never tried 40' in Bass Cove. Looks like today they were deep. Not like last weekend when most came in 20'.

Bryce gets one on and in the boat as I get bit again but it is a swing and a miss. WE had a ew more o those and Bryce gets through it and starts getting them in the boat, back outside and up a little urther where he sticks a good one and gets it in, close to a solid three and at as a pig. I throw a jig and get bit but it too, hops o. Go to a rainbow 99 and get bit good and in comes a good one near 2.5 and a ew minutes later another one at 1.8 with Bryce getting a dink in the same hole o water. its a nice little lat spot in 21 t with the sun shining on it. We move downstream or 6 more or a total o 13 and we go the giant orange or breakast.
