Report: Greeting to all, What a weekend. It was just a mad house Sat. Three tournies. 45 min. wait to launch and to leave. It was a mad house. Kevin and I inally got on the water about 8:30ish. The og was so thick or another 2 hours, that we had to stay airly close to the ramp. Oh, and speaking o ramps, someone needed to put a sign up at the spillway saying it was closed. We ished between Saddle and the Spillway to start o and we caught 3. I caught a couple o dinks and Kevin caught a nice 2lber spot. We ished there until the og dissappated and then moved up the North Fork. When the sun came out, the bite was on. We tageted rocky points and lats. It seemed to work. We each bagged to more nice ish. That was until I roped a 4 1/2lber. She was a long thin spot. She is going to be nice this spring. We caught a lot, missed a ew and the 9 we caught were deinetly some good lookin bass. I'am stoked about this year and everyone else should be too. Good luck to all. We'll see ya out on the water.
      City: Roseville

Tips: We tried a lot o things and the things that were producing were jigs and worms. 7" pumpkin seed curly tails and 1/2 oz rootbeer gitzits. Jiggin really slow, just keeping contact with the bottom. It seemed with the worming the leader had to be a little long. Usually Im about 12 to 14 inches. Sat. it was 16 to 18 inches. Pulling SSSLLLOOOWWW. That seemed to be the ticket or us.

Report: I have not posted a report recently, even though I been doing alot o ishing in my new boat, even in the bad weather we had in November and December. The reason I have not posted is, through my ailation with MGM Lures I get eedback suggesting that I am hurting others and mysel by revealing where I ish and what I throw on any given day.Well the last two days are proo that i you think you can ish Shasta the same as any report, you are dead wrong!Witness yesterday I ished the main part o the lake with great success with 12.5 lbs. by 9:A.M. Today I ished with a buddy o mine throwing the same baits or a total o three ish weighing 5lbs.In the last two years I have ished Shasta over 400 days, in all those days no two were alike. The lake, the weather and the patterns change every day. I guess thats why I enjoy it so much. There is no place in this world I would rather be. I very much enjoy reading the posts o other ishermen and will throw in my two cents once in awhile with my regrets i I oend anyone.

Report: Things have been pretty slow with the water down as low as it's been. I ish the lake quite oten and have never seen it this low. The ishing has, or me anyway, has been hit and miss. The bites are not strong . When in doubt, set the hook. My buddy Kevin and I pulled in 7 ish our last trip. Mostly on points and rock walls. Kevin pulled in big ish honors with a chuncky 3.5 lb'er. I caught 4 dinks. The trip would have been un without ish. Good riends and just being in the water is good enough or me. The tackle we used was magic worms in a pb&j pattern, and brown or black jigs, 3/8 oz., and SSLLOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. I you think your ishing slow. Fish slower. I hope to have a good year. I understand that its tough being a catcherman, and some o you are just that, and to them Im looking orward to seeing you out there on the water. To the ishermen out there, keep on hooken and someday you can graduate to the catchermans class.lol To all, have good and sae 2002 and look or us, team rope a dope, the catcherman division.lol out on the water. Good luck Matt,

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I fished the AC team tourny on Sunday. Our T-day ended up alot like our friday prefish. Not alot of keepers(4-5 each day). We found our fish in 10-20 feet of water on points in the main body(jigs). No reaction bite for us. We tried blades and cranks. I think the guys that did the best found better places to throw their jigs. Where you say? I don't know. It looked like the majority of the fish weighed were smallies. One thing I looked for was bait balls like in the summer but couldn't find any.
      City: Auburn
