      Water Temp: ???

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Well, got out in the loat tube today and started throwin' a spinnerbait along the reeds. 3rd cast, WHAM! I nailed a 4#. I igured, well, 3rd cast with a spinnerbait and I already got one. Might as well just keep throwin' this thing all day and see what happens. Well, I ended up catching a limit on that spinnerbait. Which is quite an accomplishment or me seein' as to how I've only caught a total o maybe 8 bass in my lietime on a spinnerbait. It was great. d:o) I got more conidence in my blading skills now. har har! Anywho, it was about a 15lb limit, with that 4# bein' the biggest one. I my loat tube hadn't gotten a hole in it ater being on the water or only 1 1/2 hrs, and I had been out there as long as I had hoped, I probably would've been able to bring that 15lb limit up to about a 20lb limit. Oh well, it was a good day on the water anyways. d:o)
      City: Antioch

Tips: With all the wind and slightly cooler weather we got goin' on over at Contra Loma right now, that spinnerbait really seemed to be the ticket. Cast towards the reeds, and burn it back so that your spinnerbait stays about 1t under the surace.

Morning was calm and overcast and couldn't get nothing on topwater or crainkbaits. Fished the whole damn lake, north to south.

Report: I had to laugh at the report about inally eeling like you got your moneys worth. The ew times i ished out here this year it has not been to good or me. I also ish at the wrong time o the day alot because o amily stu, but still not very good. Today was dierent and i got my moneys worth. At least my girlriend did. I igured with the weather the ishing would be good. We started o with 12" black and junebug worms in 10 minutes she hooks a 3lber. I presided to lose a couple o good ish on the black worms somehow i ended up with scales on my hook on one o them. Felt like a heavy ish too. Started to ish senkos and i caught a dink. My signiicant other landed three others two were 3lbers and one was a 4lber. That was all, but all were quality ish. Except mine anyway. No topwater. That suprised me a little with the cloud cover. We saw some ish busting shad, but they weren't very big. The worms worked coming out o the weedline. The senkos worked on the inside o the weedline. The ish were all airly shallow nothing outside o 15 eet. I tried deeper but no luck.
      City: El Dorado Hills

Tips: The senkos worked better than the worms at least in the aternoon. Smoke was the color. good luck.

Report: On the water at 3 p.m. Saw Dave McKenzie leaving and he said the topwater bite was on, but I had my heart set on using my new Cameron crankin stick. Hit a couple points and tried a few different baits, but nothing doing. Headed to the far back cove and missed a frog fish right away. Then another. Then decided I needed to slow down my froggin, so threw it out there, three tiwtches and let it sit. About 20 seconds later turned to look for the seat to rest my butt real quick, and when i turned I heard it, looked back and the frog was gone and felt the tug. 2.5 lber. No more frog fish, but got 6 more on my new black and purple persuader buzzbait. Overall, pretty good day for 4 hours fishing!!!

Report: Actually started out going to the Aterbay with Greg who is listed in the partners page o the orum and one heck o a good isherman. Greg stuck a nice 3 pounder on a watermelon/red lake Senko near tules and grass. That was the only one landed so ater about 3 hours we decided we had enough and shot over to Oroville and drove up to Limesaddle as we wanted to ish north and west. The rest o the day was overcast and rainy but a very enjoyable rain as it was warm and came straight down.........nothing like the sideways winter rains! Caught 20-30 slot ish and a couple long, lean ones that were close to 15". All in all a neat day with no boat traic at all and water lat as glass.
      City: Wheatland

Tips: Caught all our Oroville ish on dartheads o deep banks and rocks. Some were right on the bank, others were 10' out and no particular color.

Report: We have been out at Bacon Island ishing or bass rom shore. In the later part o the day using spinner baits throwing at angels not straight out rom the shore. Running through weed bed was quite an experience. Spinner baits black and white or silver and black worked great. We were able to catch three or our a day in two hours. So i you bank ish try throwing a spinner bait into the weeds make sure the lure bumps the weeds and hold on.

      Water Temp: 72

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We started around 10 a.m. up north, but I got blown o the lake. I ound a cove to hide rom the wind, but caught no ish. The wind died down a little, so I igured I better try better places while I had the chance. We ished the Island by the peninsula and caught 3 in about a 45 min. all were good ish (2lbs.) 1 was a smallie the other two spots. They ought like hell, and made good dives under the boat too. Anyway that spot didn't last long, we moved up the peninsula ,and got 1 largemouth and here comes the wind again. We went over to browns area, and my girlriend does it again, and catches a 3.5 largemouth. We quit right ater because o the wind. This was the best day we've had in a ew weeks out here. Finally some agressive ish eventhough we didnt get to many. P.S. I understand both sides o the gaswasters debate that you guys are talking about. But a couple o months ago some kids come cruising up to us while we were ishing, and they were on a wave runner. They asked where dyke 8 was, so I started to tell them and the bastards come lying at us soaked my girlriend and I pretty badly. The deck o my boat was soaked with all my stu out in the open. Unortunately my 60hp tracker can't catch the wave runner and it is probably a good thing, but these people don't have a whole lotta respect or the ishermen. Any way good luck ishin.
      City: El Dorado Hills

Tips: We caught all o the ish on 4 inch oxblood magic worms. In the 10 to 18 eet range.

Report: Started out at 10:00 am, working spinnerbaits along weedline along the shoreline just o o the submerged tires. Really good spinnerbait conditions, (slightly overcast, slight breeze, with a good chop on the water) and came up empty. At noon started drop shottin 4" aaron's magic curltail near east point o the marina. Landed (4) around the 2 lb range in about 30 minutes. Fish were in the 20-23 t range, right where the rocks stop and the sand started. Well called it a day ater that due to other obligations (the wie), however the ish were deinitely eeding.
      City: Los Angeles

Tips: Fish were schooled up very tight in a small area, might try dropping a bouy to mark the location. Good luck out there!

      Water Temp: 78+

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Evening topwater is still on.I'm sure morning is still better but with all the brain dead skiers and pwc drivers I will choose to wait until they have had enough and go in for dinner before I arrive at the lake.I can't believe how bold they are to come into putah creeks 5mph zone doing 50. Sometimes it's hard to keep my temper in check. I also saw one of "US" doing the same thing.Driving a green Ranger 519 with a 225 opti on the back.Mr 519,If you happen to read this-Shame on you. Please represent our hobby with a brain in the future. If you are that impatient, don't go in there in the first place. Most of us that fish putah creek do so not for the good fishing but rather to get away from idiots blasting past us. Sorry I had to vent. Back to the fishing. Lost a 5+ sunday evening and had a 8-10 give my splash it a chase.Luckily I brought extra shorts.Hope this helps somebody catch fish.
      City: Pinole

Tips: Don iovino's splash it.Purple with silver bottom.Use a subtle pop rather than tossing water 2 feet.Work just out side the weed lines and don't give up on your cast until you are 10 feet from the boat.
