Fish were on outside weedlines as usual. Nothing on the rog, but I saw a guy hit a 3 1/2 on one in Cruiser Haven. Will be out this weekend too. Does anyone use any other plastic besides Senko's????

Working spinner along weed lines and getting good strikes. Well be back next week and good luck out there. p.s. the personal water crat and ski boat traic is really starting to kick in, gonna be real busy on the water and ramps this summer, be sae out there.

Water Temp: Upper 70's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I ished the last hour o day light with top water lures only. Ater an excellent Father's Day dinner at Chilies Restuant I decided to just walk the bank at Ladd's Marina instead o luanching the custom Valco bass boat, "BASS BUSTER I". I used a buzz bait and a Storm Chug Bug. Hooked and landed a total o 15 bass. My best ive ish limit went just over 10 lbs. with a 3.5 lb. kicker.
City: Buckley Cove, StocktonTips: Hot,hot, hot weather

Water Temp: 71-73
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fist were biting airly good today. Had about 20-25 ish with the best 5 going about 18# with only one good ish that went 8.2#. Caught a lot o ish lipping sparse tule on the edge o current however they were airly small. Missed a ew bites as they would hit the bait and head ast or deep water. The one big ish came on a white Snag Proo rog ished in weed clumps. Better ish were on topwater but there were ar ewer bites. When I located the better ish there were a ew in the area. Low tide concentrated the ish and seemed to be more productive.
City: BrentwoodTips: For number lip brown plastics, or size stick with top water an cover ground. The buzz bait ish were hitting when ripping the bait through the weeds.

Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I started ishing at 6:30 with my dad. I ished a topwater or about a 1/2 hour.No takers. I then went to dropshotting. I was ishing an underwater point that slowly tapered o to deeper water. I was ishing in 40' o water. I ished 4'' Robo's. At around 7:30 I hooked up to a nice bass. I ought him or about 10 minutes. He weighed 8lbs 3oz. A very nice bass to start the mourning with. Later in the day my dad got two bass. one 2 and 1/2 lbs and another 2lbs 2oz. Beore I went in I threw a osprey and 4 bass over 8lbs ollowed it in. It was a good day.
City: VenturaTips: In the beginning o summer, bass at casitas are in the depth's. From 15 on up to 80'. All are bass we caught were in water 30+. Fish deeper water. You will see bass up shallow in groups but they are harder to catch I believe. When it gets tu, ish the dropshot with a short leader and small worms. Its a true winner.

Report: Fished the Basin Bassmaster Club Tourney on Saturday. It was a beautiul morning and I could hear my topwater baits calling me. It also elt good to take a break rom all the serious ishing and just ish a nice relaxing little club tourney with some good riends. My partner and I rolled up towards the seventeen mile area and started throwing b-baits and chuggers irst thing. I had a blow up on the irst cast and hooked the ish ater the 4th blowup. My partner ollowed up my ish 5 minutes later with another nice keeper. We thought the t-water action was going to be crazy, but you know what happens as soon as you start to think you have things igured out. In the next 45 minutes we only had one more hook up and my partner lost the ish in the weeds. We then went to senkos and worms and got on a pretty good bite, managing a limit by 7:30. Around 12 we started throwing rogs, looking or that one nice kicker ish. I had 2 blowups right away and inally hooked about a 2 pounder on the third attempt. That was all the action we would get on the rogs. We weighed in with close to 12 pounds, which was not very impressive, but good enough to win on this day. Ironically, we had another team in our club weigh in 11 pounds with only 2 ish. One ish was 1.4 and the other was 9.68. What a gorgeous ish-not a mark on her! Overall, it was pretty much a day where everyone caught ish on no speciic pattern.
City: roseville, caTips: There are still a lot o big ish up shallow. The 9.68 and other nice ish were caught in less than 2 eet o water ater 12:30 PM. Last thing - I echo what Mark Lassagne said a ew reports back about keeping the web page to ishing reports and not talking smack. Aren't we all supposed to be part o a bass brotherhood? Who cares who uses what bait or what style o ishing they like to do? I would only change one thing about tournament ishing i I could. I would impose a no tournament rule 3-15 thru 4-30. This period would give the bass a air chance to have a healthy spawn and give them a chance to protect their beds rom predators. This doesn't mean we stil can't go out and play with the ish while they are spawning. It just means that we have put them right back ater we catch em. I applaud the small percentage o governing bodies out there that have already instituted this rule. Good ishing to all!

Report: Back on 6-13-01 I took my custom Valco bass boat out to Paradise Point Marina or the irst time. It was a very challenging day with all that wind. I chose to stay around the three closest islands around the marina. Stayed on the protected side and went back and orth. Had a good buzzbait bite in the mourning to about 7:30 a.m. Hooked a ew on spinnerbaits. Flippen around the tule islands was the key. Hook'en bass rom 5 to 12 eet. Big ish went about 5.5 lbs. At noon I decided to quit or the day. Total wieght or a ive ish limit was 14 lbs.
City: Buckley Cove, StocktonTips: Windy days look or the protected areas. Flip the tule islands where there is a good current.

Report: Dude, you sure are ull o yoursel. I you are such a hot stick, why dont you ish the tourneys and show us how good you are. You made a couple o remarks that are laughable. Senko's are not excellent jerkbaits and should not be ished as a jerkbait. Sight ishing is a big part o the Bass world and condeming people or doing it is idiotic. Do us all a avor and keep your wisecracks to yoursel. I I see you on the water, expect a single inger salute.ps Climb down o your high horse.
