Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished near the Stockton area in those back coves, and was killing them with my white tandem terminator spinnerbait. Just targeted edges of the weeds, and was hitting on a fish every 20 or so yards. All males, in the 3 to 4 pound range. Wasnt burning the bait, but had a steady retreaval. Going to fish Calero back in San Jose tomorrow so look for my fishing report there. good luck.
City: san joseTips: titanium wire spinners, well worth the money. Had mine for two years, a little paint chipped, but still runs straight and true.

Merced Lake
-
Water Temp: N/A
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I have no idea why Lake Merced is on the report list. The City o San Francisco and the concessionaire are doing everything in their power to kill this lake and are pretty close to making it reality. Cal Trout has joined in the ight to bring water levels and quality back to what it once was. But until that happens, Lake Merced continues to be an eyesore, ecological disaster and a 5 star carp ishery.
City: San FranciscoTips: Dough balls and garlic ona pencil bobber will get you a limit o carp.

City: Castro ValleyTips: I you get snagged under the bridge in the middle o the lake,I'm just warning you,but be aware o what it could be,you'll either have a at reward on your hands or the hand o some guy who pissed o the maia.Don't say I didn't warn you.

Water Temp: 60-62
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the 100% future pro out of ladds on Sunday. We went South to near Cruiser Haven and caught 3 keepers on a crank, a jig, and a 3.5# on a spinnerbait. Left and went to Victoria where we added a 4# on a watermelon w/ red flake Senko and another keeper on a crankbait. Then farther south we got on a superb bite. We found bedding fish, the problem is the water was clear and we could not get the fish to bite as they could see us. ( And man did we see some nice fish) So we decided to pitch Senkos and Zipper worms far ahead of us and just outside the beds. Bingo. We began getting some real quality fish. We caught over 20 fish in 1 200 yard stretch of bank. The biggest was 6.9# with our 7 fish weighing over 32#s. What a great day on a great body of water.
City: san joseTips: If you can see the bass they can see you. see where they are then get out of sight and pitch to them. Don't throw directly on the beds but around them. The same fish that wanted no part of our baits up close, devoured them when they thought we were not around. Pitching is a must.

Water Temp: 62 to 64
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched from Ladds for club tourney & hit Whiskey Slough 1st. fished hard for one break off on an oxblood leech & 1st 13" keeper on a 6" oxblood worm. Hit Empire Cut rip rap banks for a 15" fish on a white Speed Trap. Fished moving water next on south side of Mildred Island w/no hits so switched to slack water banks at low tide & picked up 3rd keeper, 15", on watermelon/red & grn flake 6" Senko. Last fish on in moving water in Columbia Cut was a nice 5+ on a watermelon 6" Senko but 5' from the boat she came up long enough to give us a look & then say "see ya". We didn't finish last but did not come close to the 1st place 4 fish weight of 13 lbs. anchored by a nice 8 1/2 caught on a shad colored 6" worm in the Tiki Lagoon area.
City: DelhiTips: 1st place team didn't get a chance to give us any. Had to move out to make room for 100% weigh-in.
-
Water Temp: 60-63F
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished 100% BASS Future Pro with my brother. Caught lots of fish - all barely keepers. Weighed in a real small limit. Small, aggressive fish were fairly easy to find. Could not find the big girls today. Shallow cranks or spinnerbaits on shallow wood cover produced throughout the day, regardless of the tide. A couple came off rip rap banks on the Crawdad SpeedTrap. Only one on a Senko late in the day.
City: Castro ValleyTips: Better fish were hard to find. Deeper and slower presentations are the likely way to go. Pay attention to the weather.
