Report: A report page may not be the best place or this but I just want to remind everyone that the trout (steelhead) ishery at Lake Sonoma is sel sustaining. These ish are wild and cannot handle the pressure that other put and take trout isheries can. Please think about this beore you keep these ish. I eel that this ishery should have special regulations. I avor not a catch and release ishery but a two ish limit or ish above a certain length sure makes sense to me.

      Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I ished with a riend rom 5:30 pm to midnight. Fishing was good or bass up to 2 1/2 lbs and a near 4 lb trout that ate his zipper worm. We ished the main body and ound the ish in 5 eet o water. I caught most o the ish (9), maybe because I was using jigs (Rattlin' Weapons) in black/blue. Ater dark was slow with an unusually strong breeze that made ishing diicult. I did manage to catch a 4-2 on a Weapon jig in 30 eet!!! I did not hear o or see any big ish except or a 9 someone had caught earlier in the week. Patience - they will move up!!
      City: Yuba City

Tips: Bass seemed to be hitting a jig better than a worm - at least the day we were there. I shook the jig, then let it set. Cranked a little - lost one.

      Water Temp: ~60 degrees

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at about 1pm. Managed one fish. Also lost a fish just like that Berkeley Trilene commercial where the fish takes the guy's spinnerbait, he goes to set the hook, and his line breaks! I did however, refrain from throwing all of my gear in the lake. That's what I get for not re-tying frequently. Cost me a brand new Terminator spinnerbait and a nice fish. If anyone catches this one, my email address is above :). It's been my most productive bait lately.
      City: San Jose

      Tips: Re-tie!

      Water Temp: 53-60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I fished from 8:00 to about 3:30, THE WIND WAS BLOWIN!! I talked to just about everyone out there and the fishing seemed to be pretty tough for them, allot of small fish today. I think the problem was that everyone wanted to fish out of the wind. I went and found points with the wind blowing directly into them, I managed to get 12 fish today, I was useing brown and june bug ISG spider grubs. I was fishing 1-25 feet deep today, I also had a rip bait rigged up and managed to get one taker that weighed 4.7 pounds. that was my big fish for the day, I know not very big for calero!! Next time.
      City: Redwood City

Tips: For ISG baits go to www.isgfishing.com tell them Jerry sent you, they like to know where thier business is coming from.!!

      Water Temp: 58-60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had a good day yesterday on the Delta. Caught about 20 fish with the best 5 going 17-18#s and a 8.5# kicker. Lots of small bucks staging in the flats, what a ball! The prespawn bite is on! Fish were on points and flats in 2-4 feet of water. Other than the one good fish, I have not found the quality fish yet, but I'm still looking. Water is clearing and warming.
      City: Brentwood

Tips: Dark plastics seemed to work best. Tried worms, lizzards, ReAction Gator Dogs, and Strike King tubes. Caught fish on all of them.

Report: Got out early in the morning to catch (2) 2lbs. First one on a red speed trap. The second on a pumpkin seed Zipper. Bass are not hitting the line hard just yet so keep the slack tight and be ready or the hit..
      City: Roseville

Tips: Bass are just about to pre spawn. Can't wait!!! This lake is usually good at the spawn. Try using a punkin seed grub, with a darter head...
