Report: Started in Connection Cut. Water was muddy. Tried jigs, spinnerbaits, etc. Moved to Mildred. Same results, and the danged beeping alarm was making us nuts. Fixed the alarm with a toothpick. Then headed for clearer water. Landed 5. Caught them all in late afternoon. One on babybrush hog and the others on 6" red shad Culprit worm, texas rigged. Missed a few others. Wind wasn't too bad.
      City: San Mateo

Tips: The clearer the water the better.

      Water Temp: 57-60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We ished the main body near dike 8. Fished a reaction bite and spanked them. Most o the ish were cookie cutter sizes 1.5-2.5. We caught about 18 o them o the rip rap and near the launch. The traic was moderate, and the reaction died about 10am. We had lunch came back about 2pm ater adjusting the motor and went back. We got some on blades, the wind however was very strong think this keyed them on or this bite later. We were able to at will catch them o the same areas with just about anything. We hit up the North ork ater we got tired o the big waves wetting us down. We hit the cove near the Granite Bay launch and ripped the submerged trees with clown and got 4 nice ish. Used a Mark Sosin 6in clown. This big bait was out producing the 4in rip bait? Our biggest bass caught by my buddy weighed in at 3.11lb nice smallie. Caught two more that were close to that size. Wasn't able to ind any large mouth all ish were either spots or smallies?
      City: GraniteBay

Tips: Believe that the the early bite was due to the cloud cover. When the sun came out ished shut down on this bite. The bite in the evening was sparked by some great waves kicking up the ood. Try the rip rap they maybe loading up or the spawn? First ull moon o March I am told starts the hatch o crawdads. Gotta stay big to catch there attention away rom the good crawdads? It worked atleast this day

Report: Fished rental boat out of Paradise Point with son, John, starting at 9:00 a.m. Went up to White's Slough looking for staging bass. Fished shallow to deep with variety of presentations - no luck. Tried mostly slow stuff (cranks, jigs, swim baits, tube craws, Power Pulse worms). Moved down into Bishop Cut and fished its length - inside and outside weedlines, and out in the channel. Found many green weedbeds but no bass. Had some excitement with Frogzillas on the cheese. Had several very large bulges under the big frogs, but no actual takers. Finally, late in day, John nailed two small bass on shad-colored Frenzy lipless crankbait off a deep weedbed out in channel. Dad got skunked, but, as always, had a wonderful day fishing with my son.

Report: Launched out of Holland/Riverside, ran into Mildred Island to do some exploring. Started throwing a buzzbait (I know, not exactly a high percentage bait for this time of year....but nothing beats a top water bite!) Well, after about 50yds of bank.....KABLOOOSH!!! 4.5#er. I'm thinking...hey this could turn out to be a great day.... But I didn't get another on the buzzer, switched to blades, cranks and plastics, and only managed two more small ones. Missed a good one that took off like a rocket with my brushog. Found water as warm as 61 degrees(not in Mildred), but still didn't get the number of bites I expected.

      Tips: I have no clue!
