      Water Temp: 60-70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Main body north end in the mornin, couple of bites, nothin to get excited about. Went into Putah Creek, 5 mile an hour area where Ive been getting them in the afternoon, No wind condition, birds weren't workin, nothing happenin, threw Two baits, for 4 hours, Topwater and a spoon, Fished from 30-55ft with the spoon, caught 1 fish in 40ft...skinny fish, big mouth no body wt. Caught two fish with topwater suspended (had to be) in trees. I did not crank at all.
      City: Castro Valley

Tips: I think after 3 trips you have to diffently find the shad and either spoon them or use somekind of reaction bait. The water is starting to cool down some with the colder nights. It should turn on soon.....I hope!!!

      Water Temp: 64

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Me and my daughter Amber went out this afternoon about 1:30 ish. We stayed south throwing the good ole woiym.our best fish was about 3lb, fishing outside weedlines wherever we could see the weeds (muddy) with the warm weather we had our share of skiers this weekend also the Rock dams are out now and it will take a few weeks for the south to balance out the silt that has been gathering behind the dams.we managed a 7 fish limit but that was it! Home by dark....
      City: Tracy

Tips: Outside weedlines !!key on area's that dip back into the bank, these subtle little indentations in the weedlines will usually hold fish this time of year...I guess its just something different for them also its a good lazy day ambush area....

      Water Temp: unknown

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Hit the back ponds with Texas Rigs on the cover. I Caught one 12"er o o a red and white power grub. My dad caught a 14"er o a Berkeley worm called "pumpkin seed". Both ish hit early in the morning between 6:30 and 7am about 2-4 eet rom the shore. Several bites throughout the morning. Ater 8am, no more activity with bass.(In case anyone cares) The ollowing week, a riend o mine heard that some big catish have been caught in the main reservoir. We went out at 8:00pm. The water was totally calm and no wind.....Lots o bass hitting the surace. We dropped a lantern in the water and attracted zillions o minnows. Couldn't snag a bass with buzz bait....but the catish started hitting between 9-10pm on chicken livers and resh tiger prawns. Pulled in two 15"ers and the rest went back.
      City: Redwood City

Tips: In the back ponds used weedless lures in a Texas rig. Lots o weeds, logs and cover. All o our bites were about 2' rom shore and early in the morning. I have heard that crawdads are native to the lake/ponds and that some big bass are being pulled out using this bait...I will try that next!
