      Water Temp: 69-70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished on Sunday, May 30. Despite more boats and PWC's on the water than I could have imagined, we landed 19 bass three bluegill. Largest bass was maybe 14". Most were caught on 4" S&P ringworm. Did get a good rip bite at dark. Despite the fact that there were boats in every cove (non-fisherman)we had a good day. After seeing the full moon, wished we had stayed home during the day and fished all night.
      City: Concord

Tips: Tips: We noticed the fish were concentrated at the 10-12 foot range. Possibly due to the clear water/boat traffic. In the evening the fish got more aggressive and wanted movement, that's when we switched to rip baits.

Report: Went out to paradise point on Sunday. Got there about 5:15am. Right away my friend caught a 2.5pounder off the dock on a crankbait. As the day progressed we managed to get about 4 over 2 pounds, I lost about a 2.5 pounder and at least a fish over 3.5 , needless to say some profanity was involovled. My friends dad managed to catch a tagged fish, i asked him how much, he showed me two fingers, i said 20 bucks? he said no, i said 2 bucks , he said no, i said 200???? he said yep, i had to look for myself and to my surprise there it was. Overall a very good day on the delta.

Tips: Tips: Flippin motor oil brushhogs into the tulees, or 4 inch power worms pumpkinseed. Neutral colors seemed to work very well!

Dan caught a HAWG!! it went 10-2 on the digital. Think she was on a bed. Had eggs coming out and wasnt holding on anything. The wind had us at bay..but the fish were bitin our jigs thats for sure.

Report: Early morning spinnerbaits and pearl super lukes were the ticket. Fish were chasing large shad and we pulled probably 40 ish rom an area in 2 hours. They were not interested in topwater or crankbaits or ripbaits. But they ate the luke like dessert. Ater the sun came up we switched to shad colored worms on short leader split-shot rigs and continued catching ish. Also caught a couple nice spots on a jig. Then the holiday boat traic got to annoying.
      City: Livermore

Tips: Find the baitish - right now they are orientated to points. Early morning lukes and spinnerbaits-white skirts or white blades and possibly topwater. Ater that continue ishing the points except a little deeper and slower with shad colored worms.

Report: Started, False River at Fishermens Cut 9:00am. Bait fish 1hr. on sardines and reeled in (3 Cats, 7 to 10"). Way too windy, anchor was slipping, so we headed down Taylor Slough from False River, Drifting using crank and buzzbaites with no luck. Unable to control boat because of the wind, made my life misery. It wasn't until about 11:30am when our luck started to change. Still on Taylor, we come up to a couple of kids floating on innertubes near Anchor Marina, spinning with purple and brown powerbait 7" warms. We watched them 10min. pull out (4 largemouth). Need I say more
      City: Antioch

Tips: Tips: Until the wind dies down and the water clears up a little bit, plus a little warmmer water, look for the fishing in Delta to remain the same. (LOUSY)

Report: We had a very entertaining house boat trip rom 5/20 to 5/27. We visited much o the Lake Shasta shoreline. We caught a ton o small bass on Yahomoto (msp?) grubs and 4 inch plastic worms; crawish colors, at times the chartreuse grub double tail and single tail were great. The spots and smallmouth were on the small size. The largest perhaps 2.5 lbs, but most were around 12 inches. We ished primarily rom dawn to 9 and 6 to dark, it was hot during midday. We had wind the irst two days, but you could always ind shelter in the coves. Shasta remains a beautiul lakeand super ishery. The trout were hard...only lead core trollingproduced...who wants to do this when there are so much bass. I have only one question: Where and how do you catch the big ones?....but who cares.

Tips: Fish the shade and early morning/evening hours.

Report: I fished from 2:30pm to 6pm. I started out at a point to the left of Calero Dam. I used a fire-tiger spinnerbait and chrome crankbait, but no fish. Switched to red 4 inch curlytail worm with only 1/16 oz weight and swam it. Got one small bass to follow it, but still no bites. I moved to the other side of the dam at the end of the cove and away from the boaters and skiers. I threw the red worm on the first cast in front of a boulder and got a 3 lb, 16.5 inch bass! Also got a 12 in, 1.5 lb bass on a junebug worm to the right of the big pipes. I got a few other bites, but set the hook too soon. Caught fish using twitching method. Water was pretty clear up to 10 ft from shoreline. Fish seem to be holding right at the edge of dropoffs. Fish hit when the wind died down.
      City: Sunnyvale

Tips: Tips:If from shore, stick with plastics.
