Report: Fished Friday or 3 hrs. Major rip bite.9am - noon. Fished main river arm with Shad Colored Rouge orange belly.Biggest 4.23 with eggs.Fish actively chasing baits rom submerged brush and trees.

Report: Topwater bite is starting to happen!!! Fished from noon till 6pm mostly topwater. Most of the fish were small,but three were 2lbs plus Trees & rocks held 99% of the fish. With the 80 degree weather this week it should be RED HOT by the week end. Tips: S tay in the coves. Look for 65 degree water. Fish the laydowns (trees) and rock piles. Any topwater will do..Don't fish it too fast. Hits come on the pause's sometimes.

Report: FISHED OPEN TOURNEY ON SAT, GREAT TURNOUT! CAUGHT LOT'S OF FISH CRANKING SOUHT END OF LAKE IN 2 TO 30 FEET OF WATER,FISHED GRAVEL BANKS IN COVES. WEIGHED IN FIVE FISH. BIG FISH OF THE TOURNEY WAS A 7.88 HOG! FISHING WILL EVEN GET BETTER!BROWN PIG'N JIGS AND GREEN CRANKBAITS WORKED WELL.TOURNEY WAS PUT ON BY CHICO BASS CLUB. GREAT JOB!

Report: caught 9 ish to 3.5 pounds on 4 inch purple weenie by Buda Bait with a green glass & brass. In the trees & o points. Good ishing in Yorty. The main lake is still cold about 51 degrees. Good luck & tight lines.

Report: Spent 4hrs in south ork. Caught 2 ish, one 4 1/2lbs. and one 2 1/2lbs. Spent the rest o the day in the north ork. Caught about 18 spots ranging rom 2 to 3 1/2lbs. Caught all ish throwing spinner bait. Had many other hits but even with trailer hookthey were not getting it. Very productive day.

Report: Fished the Redman Regional 4-6-1997, Skeet Reese & LeroyBertolero tied or 23lb 8oz. or 5 ish. Jim Reese took 3rd with 21+lbs and I took 4th with 20lb 4oz. Mark Seeters took 5th with 20lb 2oz. Mike Reynolds took 6th with 19+lbs. The weights dropped o to 15lbs rom there. Big ish was a 9lb 8oz.Top inishers caught bed ish with grubs on dart heads. I never saw a bed ish and concentrated on the transition areas looking or pre spawners. Caught all my keeper ish on 1/4oz. Bobby Delimeter smalliejig with a Havasu Hurst craw on spinning gear. I did though ind an outstanding splitshot bite using a brown shark. Actually anything brown worked. Only problem was they were bucks under 13 inches.

Report: Fished rom 7:30am to 5:00pm had limits o small ish by 10am. I cranked the dam and had several ish on, but only landed one. I caught the rest o the ish in warm springsusing worms, paddle tails, plastic craws and crank baits. I ished on points and in the trees. It was very windymost o the day (approx 30 mph. The ishing can only get better so get out there and get those lines wet! Good Luck!

Report: Two bites all day. Fished rom about 1pm to 8pm. Fished thenorth end o the lake, till late evening, then tried my luck by the dam.Threw everything but the kitchen sink, and i I had one, I would have tried that too. One bite came on a spinner bait, the other on a worm. Saw large numbers o ish on the depth inder. The majority o them are in water between 10 to 30 t depths.Talked to a guy on the way in, who had caught one, and talked to a another guy on the way out, and he and his partner had caugh our. Using worms and grubs. Lets hope or a warm spell soon, to turn this lake on. Good luck to all.

Report: Fished the lake on Saturday with my amily (9 & 10 yearolds). Spent most o our 4 hours on the lake up in the middle ork and caught 8 total. One would have gone 3-4#'s, she was at ull o roe. Released all ish so we can catch them again!!

Report: Fishing out by Beek's bight, ished rom 7 am to 9 am. Tried 6in morning dawn but no bites. Then switched to a 5in Ripple Lip Ripper worm (color was the Blues). Caught a 2 lbs. Lg. mouth in 4' o water. Then caught a 1 lbs. dink right aterward. Fishing was pretty slow. Saw couple o boats come by throwin blades and crankbaits but they had no luck.

Report: Arrived aternoon o 4/3. Wind was very bad, managed 1 keeper bass, 2 rainbow trout deep cranking near glory hole. Friday, 4/4 was much better, Wind was down in AM and picked up 10-12 bass, most small using plastic worms and deep cranking near Tuttletown Launch. Water seemed to be warmest in this area. I it warms, ishingshould really turn on.

Report: Gates open at seven. My plan was to launch as early as I could. I wanted to beat the strong winds in the later morning. I ound ish in the south ork orm 1-21/2 lbs. All small mouth. Dropping purple worms at about iteen eet.

Report: ishing is good! water is very clear. I caught ish rom ive to twenty eet deep. I used red worms purple, blue, brown and grey. It didn't seem to matter. ish were hungry.

Report: I PULLED A FEW SMALL MOUTH OUT OF THE GRANITE BAY AREA. I USED GRUBS LITTLE BITS AND SPINNER BAITS. FISHING WENT WELL UNTIL THE JET SKIERS ARRIVED. I THEN WENT TO THE SOUTH FORK TO LOOK FOR LARGE MOUTH. I ENDED UP WITH TWO LIMITS OF SMALLMOUTH. WATCH OUTFOR FLOATING LOGS. THE LAKE IS STILL UNSTABLE WATER IS MIRKY. I'D GIVE IT AT LEAST A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE FISHING REALLY GETS GOOD.

Report: First time on the lake, launched from Berryesa MArina went over to the red banks and fished all the coves to the right I caught 15 fish in about 3 hours on a Witches Tit, I found fish on submerged trees and in the shallows, I also caught 3 fish on a tiger colored crankbait. My partner caught 4 fish on GitZit Salt-n-Pepper and a Brown w/silver flakes also he used a crawdad colored crankbait. All the bass were 1/2lb to 3lbs. It got really windy about 11:30 so we hit the coves on the other side of the islan s the marina side caught a couple and called it a day.

Report: Out at Beek's Bight rom 1pm to 3pm, caught a dink splitshottin a 4in smoke pepper worm. Then caught a 2 lbs. smallmouth on a red Lip Ripper worm rom Fran and Eddy's. Last ish o the day caught on the same red worm near a christmas tree, it was a 5 lbs. largemouth. All ish were in 4' o water holding tight to brush. Slow and low is the tempo.

Report: I ished this lake the past weekend or the irst time. Great lake i you can aord the entrance ee. I caught 10 bass in our hours, all over 15 inches. Most o the bass came o o secondary points, in shallow water around brushy cover. I had good luck spilt-shotting rootbeer grubs. It seems like the ish are moving into the spawning coves,however I didn't see any nests. Good Luck!
