      Report: I'm beginning to doubt mysel. Me and a buddy did not catchanything. Although we did see 3 small ish get caught very near us. itlooked like green weenies and chartreuse spinners did the job. We ished the lower arm, i've never been there beore. Mybuddy Dave Ne did bring one to the surace but his drag was loose, he never set the hook. and it got spit out. see ya up there 4/12 I'll be working dry creek area.

      Report: Fished the last two weeks with great success. Fishing the north end o the lake on 3/14/97 with two partners boated 30 plus ish. Most o which were caught on 4 inch pumkin seed ring worms, the others on jerk baits.The next week was not as good, but me and one other partner put 15 ish in the boat,with one going 6.5lbs. I think the key right now is to ind the areas that warm up the astest. The north end is still a little o in color, so cover is not that important right now

      Report: we got 10,11 ounce bass and we all so caught 1,ten pound bass he was a lunker.let me tell you that son o a gun ought like the dickens,then we also caught 4 three pounders.It was a good day ishing on Lake Camanche i loved it.

      Report: I was out three times Mon,Wed,Sat, last week. Great rip bite rom noon on...Sat with the clouds blue neon zipper worm bite, caught 15 keepers in the aternoon. Only going to get better.

      Report: Didn't catch anything. Fished rom about 7 to 1. Fished with my dad and brother. Used blades, jig n pig, worms, and crankbaits. Talked to some other ishermen and they didn't catch anything either..

      Report: Good ishing in the shallows, near or around stick-ups, in the upper lake. Good success using plastic worms and catapillars in green or camo patterns. Many ish caught in the 2-4 pound range. Largest ish caught was 9 lbs, 4 ozs on a six inch green weenie in six eet o water near a stand o submerged brush.

      Report: No action, lottsa rain. Worked small coves o skunk with pig n jig and lizard. My buddy stuck to spinners o various colors. Still learning boat too. I think that heatwave were expecting is going to bust loose this lake. Some men ish all their lives, never knowing it was not the ish they were ater I orget who said it but it seemed appropriate.

      Report: Fished from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm and landed 9 bass 11in to 2 lb. and lost about as many. Fish came on 4in salt & pepper ring worms. Weather front was moving in fast with occasional sprinkles and heavy rain as we left the lake. Fun afternoon.

      Report: Fishing was real good, considering the time o year, ished Saturday and caught 45 ish the largest was a nice 4lb 1oz bucket mouth, all the rest were averaging 1.5 lbs. Most were caught with a Rapala huskyjerk in the morning ishing backs o coves with muddy bottoms in 1 to 10 eet o water.

      Report: Had good action ishing shorelines 3 to 6 eet depth in rocky areas.Most ish in the 1 to 2 lb range.Largest taken today was 3 lbs.

      Report: Fished new bass tourney sat , very nice day, slight wind. 97 + boats almost everyone wieghed in. most ish taken on light colored blades, shade type crank baits,worms, most ish cought up shallow, but my partner and I stayed in main body around granit bay,dragging worms in 15 t water in middle granit bay , we were culling by 8:00 am some good ish 3plus lbs . most ish on dark colored 6 inch worm. couple on blades , colorado blade style, water is starting to warm up and clear up ishing is good , ever on catching ish . we took 13 th with almost 14 lbs.

      Report: Good bite fishing 10 to 20ft with jigs. Fished main body and river both were good. Brown/purple jigs seemed to be the best color in 1/4 or 3/8oz. Lots of keepers from 2 to 2 1/2lbs. good fish'n

      Report: Fished the West Coast bass tournment this weekend at Folsom. Caught one spot weighting 1.60. That was the only ish I weighed in. Judging by the other bags coming in I wasn't the only one having trouble getting ish to bite. It didn't help that there wasatournment the day beore. The winner o that tourny won with around 24 pounds with a 9 lber. I heard he won throwing blades in shallow water. We got our ish on a Bomber Fat A in 3 eet o water. The ish are moving up the key is to be in the right placat the right time.

      Report: This week and last week I landed 3 ish up to 2.5 lbs. in warm springs area, around allen brush in the water, casting to the shore line and working out to about 10'. I started with a blue and black jig which produced hits but no ish. So I changed to a 6in zoom worm (june bug) with brass and glass and started to catch ish. Hope to see you out there I am in a 15' boston whaler with a 60 johnson out board.

      Report: The lake is putting on a great show right now w/ average 3# ish on rip baits doing best, spinner baits produced lots o 12 & 13in ish. Topwater in A.M. is worth its time to throw it.

      Report: On the water at 7:15 am stopped about 1:00 pm. Fished points rom the bank out to 30 eet deep. I tried steep banks, not a bite. I moved to a milder slope, no bites. There is clear water coming in rom the south ork, mud line near New York Creek. Talkedwith three other guys, they didn't catch anything either. I tried worms- morning dawn, witches T, oxblood & blue. Jigs- black & blue with brown pork and then red pork, a brown jig and brown pork. Spinner bait - white and a Rat L trap - chrome and blue.

      Report: Lake was comming up an average o a oot a day. My riend and I were ishing with Larry Hemphill. He caught one all day and the rest o us got skunked. The ish were down there about 15'-20', the only one caught was on a chartruese rattling deep diving crank-bait.

      Report: Well it wasn't Florida but last weekend they set new lake records or ive ish per day limits in a tournament. For ten ish irst place had a total o 56.4 lb but second place only had 55 lb. Big ish was13.3 lb. ollowed be 12.5 lb, there was also 9 ish over 8 lb. Fish came on about anything you put in the water,rip baits, lipping, worming and blades all worked.
