Iaught three small ish along these docks but they were only 1 1/2 pounds. We then decided to go back to Jago Bay, as the sun should have warmed up the water. We decided to crank red Poe's 300's ...BINGO. Branden caught a 6.8 pounder on the second cast. Ihen caught a nice 5.7... We caught several that weighed three to our pounds. We ended the day catching over 30 pounds... Not bador a day o un ishing.

Report: A cold ront went through on Thanksgiving day so it was cool and cloudy with showers, but the ishing wasn't too bad. 'Spots' can be ound in the South Fork on the steeper banks with chunk rock or deep points. I caught only 4 bass but they were good sized, rom 2lbs to 3-1/4 according to my Normark scale. I shook worms in about 15 to 25 eet to get my ish. There are lots o bait ish schooling around so I imagine this is a good time learn to spoon.

Winning wt. was 35 lbs (21 on Sat and 14 on Sun). No big ish.....all under 5 lbs., so those caught were good quality ish. I only picked up 2 keepers over the 2 days. On on a 3/4 oz rattle trap around docks and ripping a shad rap same area. Water clarity varied throughout the lake. Very stained around Lakeport, moderately around Nice/Lucerene and airly good aroundKonocti area. Lots o bait ish in the Lakeport area. Coudy weather kept water rom warming up in aternoon. This ish came rom 33 eet o water on a steep rocky bank. Took it's picture and released. Talked to others on the lake and everyone was having a tough day. By the way, the Fishin' Hole on Douglas Blvd is back open, they are sponsoring a team tournament at Folsom on Nov 30th. Call or details, sorry I don't have the number.

Report: Went out of big break marina and had lots of luck. fished only from 2:30-5:00p.m. and caught eight fish. two 1lb, 3 2.5lbs, 3 3lbs, and one 4.75lb. All caught crankind a model 6A in black chrome pattern. I was pulling it two feet and stopping just long enough for me to reel back and pull again. pulling it only a tad slower than i would in summer. All fish were at scattered depths but all fish ate the bait well. the bait was all the way in their mouths. No luck shakin worms or flippin jigs. The craks were killin em. I think the key was using 10lb line. I didnt get a bite on twleve switched to 10 and killed em. All fish caught out of marina. Most marinas are stacked with fish just got to have faith and look for clear water. Try all depths fish are scattered. As i said before just have faith that the fish will hit the faster moving bait. Good fishin to all. any q's e-mail me.

Report: Fished Franks Track area all day. During early morning and late afternoon we got 5 largemouth bass - all smaller than 1.5 lbs though. Fished mid-day for stripers without a hit.

Tips: Tips: Rattle-Traps were working best for the largemouth - fish were in 10 ft of water or deeper. Fog did not clear until about noon so be careful out there.
