      Water Temp: unknown

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Russo's with Eric Thoss for an afternoon of fun and fishing..We stayed pretty much in Frank's looking for clear areas among all of the weeds..Spotted a lot of bass, mostly small ones, but a few good quality tournament fish..Frank's was just about as smmoth as glass, and the tide was outbound for most of the time we were there..Tossed Sweet Beavers, Senkos, Rattle Traps, Speed Traps, Chatter Baits and Jigs..Caught fish on everything except the jigs..I still need to learn more about jig presentation and fishing..I am sure if I had been doing it right and in the right place they would have caught fish also..Caught a ton of dinks, some not much larger than the baits they were gaught on..Cplors of the baits didn't seem to make much difference on their effectiveness..I used 6 different colors of Senkos and caught fish on all of them..Not sure what color the Sweet Beavers were that Eric was tossing, but they sure drew the attention of nearby bass..The crankbaits were all red/orange colored and the bass lined up to chasse them..I was a great afternoon to be on the water..
      City: San Jose

Tips: Look for clear water with deeper water in the same area..If all the young bass we saw survive the coming winter, the bass population of the Delta will be unbelievable..Good luck all..

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: 5 bass to 4 lbs. Two on Spro "little john", 2 drop shotting, and 1 frog fish. Missed 4 more in the thick slop on frogs. Bass are feeding up on shad now. Today was the first day that true evidence of Fall is coming. Cooler temps at sunrise...no big deal...fish were definately chasing baitfish, especially along rocky structure.
      City: Antioch

Tips: Crankbaits get the nod at sunrise. Try either lipless or shallow to medium runners. No senko takers today.

      Water Temp: 68-73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I took a couple of guys out Tuesday expecting a great day. After about a 45 min. delay watching the Dept of Water Resources redu the ramp we were able to start fishing. It was a little late to use top water after that, so we started with tubes. One of the guys was bass fishing for the first time so I really wanted him to experience the action. After a few lessons he was catching some nice bass. We targeted points and walls in the lower lake and upper lake and North Fork. About half of the North Fork is now river. We finished the day around 3pm. and had caught around 70+ bass, several over and 2 large mouth in the 2lb+ range. It was a great day.
      City: Paradise

Tips: The bass were full of pond smelt and shad so we used tubes, drop shot, and rattle traps, in shad colors and senko's in green pumpkin, watermelon and pumpkin colors.

      Water Temp: 77

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: If you want to catch small fish like me throw plastics on the main river. Better fish were caught in the sloughs off the main river. Seinkos were the ticket for one fisherman who nailed an 11 1/2 pounder on a wacky rigged seinko. Winning weight for folsom bass team was 15lbs I think. Lots of limits for 15 teams. I caught fish all day and all small. 2 keepers?
      City: orangevale

Tips: Wish I could help. I need tips to find the bigger quality fish. HELP

      Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: wow talk about bait fish everywhere! difficult to find a solid pattern, after a couple hours found some promissing water and it did not dissapoint. Caught fish on mainly t-rigged plastics, pitching to shaded docks and gangplanks, fish were sitting in the shade, best fish came from 5-8 feet of water, 17lbs for the best 5. Topwater has been dead for me.
      City: Oakley

Tips: watermelon baby brush hogs and screwed up jig with a single tail yammi grub #208 color worked best for me. However it has been something different on every trip, so gotta to adjust.

Dart heads and drop shot.I did not take time to respool big fish rods and I left early because depht finders would not work because of low voltage.I didn't recharge them.
