      Report: Lake levels are really low, esp with little rain fall. Now is a good time to walk around the back part of the lake to notice all the nooks, tree trunks etc that are normally under water. The back part of the lake is also very muddy.

      Report: 20 fish total from 8am-2pm. all drop shot tried everything else. 25-45 feet. mm shad roboworm and morning dawn 6in. main lake points with chunk rock no rock no fish.

      Tips: hope this helps. please post reports they help all of us that do not have alot of time to spend on the water.

      Report: fished sunday morn. got on water about 8:30 went over by dam started dropshotting in around 35-40 ft. First fish of the came around 9:30 it was my new PB at 6.4lbs two dinks within next half hour tried crankin, jigs, draggin nothin hapening went back to dropshottin pulled in about a 2lb . up until about 200 that was it when my buddy stuck a 3.4 not alot of fish but some nice quality

      Report: Launched at holland marina, started fishing there due to fog, fishing was tough for me again,
      tried dropshotting, deep and slow- nothing-,through a tube, chatterbait, spinnerbait, jig,crankbait, small worm (shaking)dark colors, downsized my line. Water temp on the main river is 45 degrees, 47 degrees at the back of cruiser haven and rock slough, spoke to two other anglers who said they caught 1 fish between them. Still had an enjoyable day fishing- better than working!!
      seems water temp is on the rise, hopefully the bite will explode soon.

      Report: took two limits biggest 5.7, fished slow, drop shot dark colors 7-12', fished very slow fished on rocks with slow taper to deeper water no reaction bites.

      Report: In the water around noon..fished 4 hrs. amd only caught 4 fish..dragging brown and orange jig and dart heading a robo worm. caught 1 on the jig and 3 on the dart head in 30+ ft. need some rain.

      Report: Well this weekend there wasnt much change in the bite. Live bait ( nightclawers ) using a texas rig set up took bass to 4 pounds in 18 to 25 feet of water. There also a good jig bite on green pumpkin 1/4 or 3/8 oz bullethead jigs tiped with a watermelon red/black flake single tail 5" grub as a trailer. Dropffs & isolated rock piles are hold bass in 18 to 40 feet of water also. Trout plant should happen some time this week after wednesday. Swimbait bite should start picking up more with this weather pattern holding with warmer afternoons and some rain should be low 60s by next weekend. 559-689-3255 Lake is holding steady. Traffic as been light on weekends.

      Tips: Live bait NIGHTCRAWLERS,CRAWDADS, LARGE MINNOWS Jigs are also a good bet to take some of these nice bass. Swimbait fish are starting to show again also.

      Report: hiked into Annadel today and brought my gear. on my first cast throwing a green senko i hooked about a 1.0 pounder, a nice one that fought pretty hard, especially on my UL rod and 4 lb. test line. fished for about a half hour and had four hits: one landed, one on and off (drag malfunction, totally my fault) and two missed.
      if you haven't been here in a while (as was the case for me today) you'll be surprised how low the water is. there is a ton more structure to the lake than i'd previously thought and it was nice to take notice for future outings.. a nice day with no one else out fishing.

      Report: It was my first time there and it was a grear first impression. Fished all day and caught three trout that were well over 2 pounds. Caught on a secret bait and powerbait. All together nice lake, a little wet but othe then that, nice.

      Tips: Don't cast out as far, their not as far as you think they are. Try 15-20 feet from shore, or a bobber maybe with a worm on it.

      Report: Well - I didn't get any today, but Carl got 2 nice 4.5 to 5.0 lb large mouth at the South Lake.

      One of the fish had some bad skin lesions or sores. Don't know what causes them at this lake, but woudn't be surprised if the coromorants have something to do with it.

      Report: Fishing is slow..few to no bites deep for black bass...no stripers to be seen..but ill keep trying

      Report: went out for the morning and caught several fish on 1/2 oz brown jigs in 15-30 feet of water. most fish were just inside the pockets along the north end of the lake with rock/dirt combo. a few fish on darthead with Robo "peoples worm".

      Report: I worked the Arroyo pond in the late morning and marked some fish at around 25'. No bites though. I hauled my 'toon back to the Island pond in the afternoon and this was the first time back there with a fish finder and wow, this lake is shallow. I could not find any area deeper the 22'-23' and with the water temp at 47 I knew they had to be as deep as possible holding on some structure. It took me a little while to locate some fish but again no fish caught. I think I had two light bites on a drop shot but could have been a snag.

      Report: not a whole lot goin on here was out for abou 5 hours 1 bite deadsticking on a roadbed in 14 ft water very slowly 2-3 minite casts working stick worms tried it all jigs ddcranckbaits dshot shakeyheads & much more the water is extremly low spring is going to be early this year if the weather keeps up hopefully the bite will get good within a month if the water warms a few more degrees them bass will start staging

      Report: Sat shower forecast did not deter me nor the other folks who went fishing out of the cappell's.Mother nature was very cooperative as most of the day was mild.Fished the westside from spanish flat to the ranger station and totaled 10 fish up to 2#. All on plastics; some shallow(8-15) and some deep.(30-40) I don't think color is as important as keeping the bait on the bottom. haven't had any luck with reaction baits.

      Tips: i usually average about 10-15 bites per trip. If your'e doing worse, my tips are: 1)fish 8-20 ft depths with rock. or 2) fish 30-40' making sure your bait is on the bottom. 3)colors: morining dawn, aaron's magic, crawdad shades. good news: when a fish decides to bite, no rush they will hang on to it...

      Report: The Sacramento Bass Wranglers held our first tournament of the 2007 season. We blasted off 8 teams (7 boats) in search of winter time bass. When it was all said and done, we had 3 limits weighed in and one team blanked. Winners had 5 fish for 12.96lbs, 2nd (fishing solo, boater had last minute cancellation) had 5 fish for 10.52lbs, 3rd had 5 fish for 9.00lbs. Big fish was 3.62lbs largemouth caught on a drop shot in 40ft of water.

      Tips: Most, if not all, fish were caught in depth ranging from 25-50 feet on jigs, carolina rigged plastics, dropshot plastics, and dart head plastics. Browns (green pumpkin) and greens (watermelon) seemed to be the ticket. One blade fish was caught early. That'st all for now folks. Check us out @ www.sacbasswranglers.net.       Report: Fished a small club tourny with 7 boats. My partner and I had 8 bites and caught 6 keepers. Our fish were all 2-3 pounds. The key to our results was similar to NaCl's report. We fished dead slow and on steep dropoffs near a channel. All fish came from 30 to 40 feet. We used football head jigs, dartheads,dropshot, and spoons. Fishing was very slow and sometimes hard to stay motivated and focused especially when you may only get 5 or 6 bites. I ended up with the winning weight of 11 pounds for 4 fish which included one almost 4 pounds.

      Tips: Stay focused because the bite can come at anytime. Move your bait slowly...maybe a 1/2" every few seconds. The bass want a super easy meal without much work invloved. Give it to them. The real work is trying to keep the boat super slow with a super slow retrieve. Stay warm.

      Report: bass bite is way off, my partner caught one large mouth about 3 lbs in the narrows on a dart head. Saw alot of trout guys hooking up trolling around the damn.

      Tips: Trouts were biting from 0-10 feet deep on small Rapala's
