Report: I sold my boat recently and while I am waiting for my new one I decided to go out with Bobby Barrack guide service. What a day. The guide coundn't be nicer and accomadating. We nailed fish most of the day in and around franks. I landed a 7 lber on a senko and several 3-4 lb frog fish. We caught good quality fish all day.
City: bethel islandTips: Fish with Bobby Barrack's Perfect frog( you will know why when you put them in the boat) Also give him a try if you want to learn new technique or just get better.

Clear Lake

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Rad
You could probably kick out from Redbud and fish around there unless its too windy. Flippin around the mouth of cache creed could be good for you and the back side of Big Island can produce good fish too. Around Konocti stays pretty protected too and there are a lot of areas to fish but you might have to deal with a lot of boat traffic. Good luck

Report: BRUTAL! Fished from 5:15 PM to 8:45 PM. Fished the 5s for the first half, and middle section of N. Fork for last 1.5 hours. Not a bite. Not one. 85% of my time was spent drop-shotting various 3 and 4 inch shad colored finess "treats." Nada. Tossed out some spinner baits, crank baits and even a 'Spook in frustration.
City: AuburnTips: Early has been better ... not much, but at least early I'm getting a couple of good fish on each trip. This was my first evening out there. Also ... from what I hear ... if you are willing to go there ... live bait. I'm not that desparate (yet).

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I have tried the different fishing access for shore in the middle back pond. Most of the shore access spots are slow right now, but I found the accesses that's on the opposite side might be still producing some fish. Try dropshot with nightcrawlers. I always have some luck with that. Good luck fishin.

Sonoma Lake
-
Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I got a late start at about 8:00 a.m. The wind was kicking up white caps on the main arm so I headed south past the marina. I started with 6" purple worms. I missed the first 3 bites! The 4th one I was more patient and landed a bright bass from 25 feet of a verticle tree. Decided to try again and the fish bite, it won by burying itself in a limb. I had to break it off. I switched to a white 5" Yamamoto twin tail grub.
I saw a lot of suspended fish between 10 to 25' and decided to pitch it and just let it sink. I felt pressure and did not sink hook too strong. I reeled it to within a few fish of the boat when the 2lb'er shook off. I got tired of fighting the wind and it was getting too hot so I called it a day after 3 hours.
City: WindsorTips: Start early if you can before sunrise. Most of the fish were betwee 10 to 25 feet. I had no luck with a Senko or crank bait.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Caught 3 fish over 3lbs dropshotting Morning Dawn Robo worms in about 15'-25' of water. 1 other big bass coming on white/char spinnerbait. Bite was a bit slow when the sun got higher and the pleasure crafters hit the water.
City: SacramentoTips: Fish all plastics real slow. I put my rod down to adjust another reel, picked it up and found a nice largemouth at the other end.

Report: Sorry, I kind of messed up last report but I had to hurry to see In To The West on TV. Keep the reports coming and any help on Clear Lake will be greatly appreciated for September Anglers Choice tournament. Thanks in advance.
City: Las Vegas NevadaTips: Conservation.......
You have a one of a kind fishery in the Delta. -
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: My son-in-law and I fished Dissapointment and Whites for 2 days and caught fish everywhere we went, but nothing over Drove around to 3 Lbs. Lots of small fish. We drove around to Big Break on Tuesday and fished some spots that he knew and caught several fish over 3 lbs with biggest going about 5 Lbs. Total weight around 19 lbs. we did not get on a frog bite as we wanted to, but also did not find the mats that we expected. We only make it up there once a year and need more info on current conditions. Hope to see you next year as this is one of the best waterways in the country that I have fished and you guys that live there are so lucky to have the chance to fish it all the time. Good luck and please take care of your great fishing water. God be with you.
City: Las Vegas NevadaTips: As we could not get on the frog bite we where hoping for, we caught most of our fish on plastics
and spinner baits. Flipping was most productive during high tide and working around weed lines produced largest fish we caught. Conservation the key to keep your great fishery.
