      Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished with bass guide Mark Lasange (925-787-3474). Had a great time on the water. He is very knowledgable and answered all my questions about ishing the Delta. We caught about 30 to 35 ish today with a 19" striper bonus. Most o the ish came on crankbaits and were small. We had six ish over 2 lbs. 2 going 4 lbs. one on a rog and the other on a salt and pepper spinnerbait. The day ended with a 7lb. bass exploded on a white rog! On the hook or about 2 seconds enough time to get a good look at it and away it went. Kevin and I learned more in one trip than all o our own trips combined. Well worth the investment and a lot o un. Thanks again Mark!
      City: San bruno

Tips: We had around 15 blow-ups on a rog. Fish it hard and you will get some o the better quality ish.

Report: On the water at irst light throwing buzz bait & partner throwing minnow type top water. No takers so I switched to split shotting a 4" Yamamoto watermelon lat tail worm & boated two iteen inchers so partner started split shotting a 4" purple ghost and he boated a couple o 15 inchers and then he boated one about 4 lbs.. Continued split shotting and boating ish until 8 am and then the bite turned o. We had started ishing the banks starting on the let side o the dam. Moved to the bank near the no boat bouys and then another boat cut us o and started working towards us. When we got within 50' the other boater boated a ish that went about 7 lbs.. He was throwing a weightless Senko. Last ish we caught was a 3 lber. at about 11:30 am. Got hot enough to make us get o the water.

Report: On the lake at 5:00am with ish busting the surace all around us. We were not able to coax any ish into the boat with anything. We tried spooks, spinners, cranks and plastics, but nothing worked or us. We ended our day at 11:00am with only 4 dinks in the boat on spinners and cranks in 7 to 10 eet o water o the rocky shoreline in the shade. Better than the best day o work though!

      Water Temp: high 70's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started o roggin ended roggin. Caught two ish on about 8 blowups. Started by the boat ramp. Water is real shallow. First cast I had a blow but no take. Finally got to the cove by the bridge. Theres a circle o tules in about 1 oot o water. Almost impossible to get a cast in there. But I did my best to throw over the top and as soon as it lands. BOOM. A nice 3lb ish jumps all over it. I had no time to set the hook or give slack. The ish jumps out o the water and is gone. I was still pretty happy. Nice little excitement on a hot day.
      City: Oakley

Tips: Throw a rog catch a ish. Right now anyway.

Report: AFTER BAND PRACTICE WITH MY BAND MALCONTENT,(I PLAY THE SAMPLER) I WENT FISHING FOR BASS. FIRST TIME OUT. I USUALLY FISH FOR CARP USING SWEETCORN. I REALIZED I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BASS FISHING, OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER BECAUSE I GOT SKUNKED. I JUST WATCHED BILL DANCE ONE DAY AND HE MADE IT LOOK SO EASY. I'LL TRY AND IMPROVE THIS CRAFT AND HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE SOMETHING TO REPORT LATER.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Took the loat tube out and started about 3pm.,went let rom the launch pad to big tule point.immediately hooked and lost a modest size keeper in the still water created by the grass beds on a black/bl.lk. senko.Tried a couple ew more casts and switched to buzzbait/terminator-chart./wht. and got one hookup that came unbuttoned, and a good explosion with no hookup.Ater about a zillion more casts on buzzbait I moved down the tule wall casting that same senko and caught a shaker and a 1.5pound keeper which ought like a much bigger ish [10lb. line].changed to Dominator blk/red lk. and brought in 3 more shakers one maybe a keeper,no willego board though. Finally at the end o the tule wall where the creek with bridge starts,I gently lipped that blk/red Dominator into tules , deadsticked it or about 30 seconds and landed a nice 5lb. beauty. All in all I`m satisied with action on a ew dierent baits and didn`t even touch my dropshot rig. Thanks to everyone who shares ino on this site.
      City: Concord

Tips: Darker colored plastics, buzzbait when hot near grassbeds, catch and release.

Report: Launched out o Orwood at 1:30 on Thursday aternoon. Spent the irst (2) hours pitching a rog into deep cover. Only (1) blow up which ended up in a 3.5lb ish hooked and released. Decided to give my arm a break and started pitching the trusty jig (red/Black with split tail) and caught (5) ish in a little over an hour...ish were 1.5 to 2lb class. Put jig down and worked the drop shot with a 15+ ish result most in the 1-2lb class. Finished the day throwing a wh/ch spinnerbait that claimed one 15 inch ish. All in all a good aternoon with little boat traic compared to what I was expecting. O the water by 6:00 PM
      City: Discovery Bay

Tips: Try a little 4-wheeling with your boat when throwing your rog. It's tough to get a perect presentation, but the ish are clearly close to shade i not deep into it. The other tip is to simply go ishing and try some deeper rock walls as they seem to produce consistently. To win a tourney top water is the ticket right now...to have un I'd throw the drop shot or jig. Stay Sae. TG

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Tom, Aaron, and I all participated in KOTL VI today. For the irst time in KOTL history, someone pulled through with back to back wins...Me. Har Har! Fishing was interesting today. Just ater they got the lake level pretty much back up to ull, they lowered it about 4t in one day yesterday. It muddied up the water pretty good yesterday, but it cleared up a little bit today, but there was still no more than 2t visiblity tops anywhere. Anywho, like I said, I came in irst with 3 ish or 4-9, Tom came in 2nd with 2 ish or 2-8, and Aaron...well, he caught a lot o ish. Har Har. He can post a report about it i he wants to. d:o) I caught my 3 ish all on dierent stu...Spittin' Twitcher, drop-shot rig, and a buzzbait. My drop-shot ish happened to be a ish that I've caught 4 dierent times so ar this year. LoL. And he gains an ounce or two each time I catch him. heh.
      City: Antioch

Tips: You can catch a ish doing just about anything this time o the year...

      Water Temp: warm

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Buddy and I got on the water a little ater 6am. Both o us threw poppers. He caught 10 ish up to 4lbs. He also lost one about 6lbs and had a couple huge blow-ups. A little quick on the strike. I got 16 ish with one being a 5.5lber, one 4lber, a couple in the 3.5lb range, and the rest 2lbs and under. All these ish were caught on the north end between 6am-9am. We had cloud cover and it even rained on us. A little ater 9am the sun came out and the bite died. I threw a rog rom 9 until 11am with two blow-ups. One ish was about 3lbs(missed the bait on the mat). The other ish was 5.5lbs and in open water next to the tules. Tried lippin between 11-12 with nada. Let at noon.
      City: Petaluma

Tips: The weed mats in the middle o the lake were holding the ish. Not to much action near the tules on the shore. The bite was probably helped by the ront we had move through and the cloud cover. Love that topwater Rico bite. This time they wanted the bait to sit or a while(5-10seconds). Good luck.

      Water Temp: 84 - 81

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Work was lousy so decided to make up or it by going night ishing. Fished rom 6 pm till 11 pm. Only picked up two dinks or a total o maybe 1.3 pounds. Fishing was dead. Tried topwater, worms, jigs, crankbaits and blads. I've experienced this same situation beore last year and was rewarded at 3 am by an 8 last year. Couldn't stay out so late this time.
      City: Folsom

Tips: I don't know why the ishing was so bad. Perhaps because no moon in summer, or at least during a hot spell, means lousy ishing. Who knows. Try the underwater humps at 3 am - 5 am.
